AI Technical Summary
During use, liquid cosmetics are easily consumed too quickly in the central part of the cosmetic holder, resulting in uneven distribution of cosmetics on the outer edge of the instrument.
A cosmetic holder with diagonal lines that penetrate from front to back is designed, which can be multiple crossed straight and curves, or circular slashes, or even patterned or star slashes. This design allows cosmetics to be moved more easily from the central portion to the outer edge, resulting in a more even distribution.
Through this design, cosmetics can be distributed more evenly on the outer edge of the cosmetic holder during use, reducing the uneven distribution of cosmetics on the edge part, and improving the efficiency of cosmetics and the user experience of the holder.

Abstract
Description
Liquid cosmetic holder
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a liquid cosmetic holder that is filled with a liquid cosmetic.
[0002] A cosmetic holder filled with liquid cosmetic (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as cosmetic) is used by applying the cosmetic to an applicator such as a puff or the user's fingers (see Patent Document 1).
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2017-176816
[0004] In this case, the cosmetics in the center of the cosmetic holder may be consumed, and the cosmetics may be unevenly distributed around the outer edge of the cosmetic holder.
[0005] One of the purposes of the present disclosure is to solve the above problems.
[0006] The cosmetic carrier of the present disclosure has a slit. The cosmetic carrier of the present disclosure is placed in a cosmetic container filled with liquid cosmetic. The slit preferably penetrates from the front to the back of the cosmetic carrier. The slit is preferably a shape where multiple straight lines and / or curves intersect. The cosmetic carrier of the present disclosure preferably has multiple slits where multiple straight lines and / or curves intersect, and preferably has slits across the entire surface of the cosmetic carrier. The slit may also be annular. There may be only one annular slit, or multiple annular slits. The annular shape is preferably a shape that follows the outer edge of the cosmetic carrier. Examples of annular slit shapes include floral and star patterns. When the cosmetic carrier is separable via the slit, it is preferable to combine the portions of the cosmetic carrier so that the density of the cosmetic carrier at the outer edge is higher than the density of the cosmetic carrier at the center. The height of the center portion of the cosmetic carrier may be higher or lower than the outer edge portion. The heights of the center portion and the outer edge portion may be equal.
[0007] The liquid cosmetic holder of the present disclosure can be organized into the following aspects.
[0008] The liquid cosmetic holder of the first aspect is a holder for holding liquid cosmetics, the holder having a front surface and a back surface, and the holder having a slit formed from the front surface to the back surface.
[0009] One possible reason for the uneven distribution of cosmetics around the outer edge of the holder is that when pressure is applied to the center of the holder, the cosmetics held near the center move toward the outer edge of the holder. Therefore, in this embodiment, the holder has slits formed from the front surface to the back surface. This allows cosmetics that would otherwise move toward the outer edge of the holder to pass through the slits and move toward the front surface. As a result, the amount of cosmetics that moves toward the outer edge of the holder can be reduced. Furthermore, the area around the slits is more likely to deform, dispersing the force, which is expected to result in more uniform application of cosmetics to a puff or the like.
[0010] As described above, according to this aspect, uneven distribution of cosmetics around the outer edge of the holder can be suppressed.
[0011] In the embodiment described below, the slits penetrate from the front surface to the back surface, but the slits in this embodiment are not limited to this. The slits in this embodiment do not have to reach the back surface as long as they are formed from the front surface to the back surface. The depth of the slits is preferably 50% or more, and more preferably 70% or more, of the thickness of the holder.
[0012] A liquid cosmetic holder according to a second aspect is the liquid cosmetic holder according to the first aspect, wherein the slit penetrates from the front surface to the back surface.
[0013] In this embodiment, the slit penetrates from the front surface to the back surface, so that the holder can be placed inside the case without worrying about the front and back of the holder.
[0014] The liquid cosmetic holder of the third aspect is the first or second aspect, wherein the slits include a plurality of Y-shaped slits, each of which has a first slit extending in a first direction from a reference point of the Y-shaped slit, a second slit extending in a second direction from a reference point of the Y-shaped slit, and a third slit extending in a third direction from the reference point of the Y-shaped slit, and the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction are all directions along the surface, the second direction is inclined at approximately 120 degrees from the first direction, and the third direction is inclined at approximately 240 degrees from the first direction, and the plurality of Y-shaped slits are arranged side by side in the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction, thereby forming a plurality of triangular blocks.
[0015] In this embodiment, the slits include multiple Y-shaped slits. The Y-shaped slits have a first slit extending in a first direction from a reference point of the Y-shaped slit, a second slit extending in a second direction from the reference point of the Y-shaped slit, and a third slit extending in a third direction from the reference point of the Y-shaped slit. Here, the first direction, second direction, and third direction are all directions along the surface, the second direction is inclined approximately 120 degrees from the first direction, and the third direction is inclined approximately 240 degrees from the first direction. The multiple Y-shaped slits are arranged in the first direction, second direction, and third direction, forming multiple triangular blocks. This allows the holder to be divided into multiple blocks, achieving flexibility over a wide area of the holder. As a result, the liquid cosmetic can be evenly applied to a puff or the like.
[0016] In this disclosure, approximately 120 degrees means 120±10 degrees. In this disclosure, approximately 240 degrees means 240±10 degrees. In the embodiments described below, the length of the first slit is 50% to 80% of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit. However, the length of the first slit in this embodiment is not limited to this and may be, for example, 100% of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit. The same applies to the second slit and the third slit. In the embodiment (first embodiment) described below, the holder 10 has only multiple Y-shaped slits 20 as slits, but the holder in this embodiment is not limited to this. The holder in this embodiment may have slits other than multiple Y-shaped slits.
[0017] The liquid cosmetic holder of the fourth aspect is, in the third aspect, such that the length of the first slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit, the length of the second slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit, and the length of the third slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit.
[0018] In this aspect, the length of the first slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit, the length of the second slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit, and the length of the third slit is 50% or more of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit, thereby providing the holder with sufficient flexibility.
[0019] In the embodiment described below, the length of the first slit 21, the length of the second slit 22, and the length of the third slit 23 are the same. However, the present embodiment is not limited to this.
[0020] The liquid cosmetic holder of the fifth aspect is, in the fourth aspect, such that the length of the first slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit, the length of the second slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit, and the length of the third slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and other Y-shaped slits located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit.
[0021] In this aspect, the length of the first slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit, the length of the second slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit, and the length of the third slit is 90% or less of the distance between the Y-shaped slit and another Y-shaped slit located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit, thereby ensuring the strength of the holder.
[0022] The liquid cosmetic holder according to the sixth aspect is any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the slit includes an annular slit along the outer edge of the holder, dividing the holder into a central portion and an outer edge portion.
[0023] In this embodiment, the slit comprises an annular slit along the outer edge of the holder, dividing the holder into a central portion and an outer edge portion, which allows the cosmetic to more easily migrate to the surface at the annular slit, effectively reducing the amount of cosmetic that migrates around the outer edge of the holder.
[0024] In the embodiment (second embodiment) described later, the holder 10A has only the annular slit 30 as a slit, but the holder of this embodiment is not limited to this. The holder of this embodiment may have slits other than the annular slit. In the embodiment described later, the annular slit penetrates from the front surface to the back surface, but the slit of this embodiment is not limited to this. The annular slit of this embodiment does not have to reach the back surface as long as it is formed from the front surface to the back surface. The depth of the annular slit is preferably 50% or more of the thickness of the holder, and more preferably 70% or more.
[0025] A liquid cosmetic holder according to a seventh aspect is the sixth aspect, wherein the central portion has a plurality of outer expanded portions that are portions outside an imaginary circle inscribed in the annular slit.
[0026] In this embodiment, the central portion has multiple outwardly expanded portions that are located outside the imaginary circle inscribed in the annular slit. Therefore, the central portion is partially expanded radially outward in the circumferential direction. This structure is expected to encourage the user to press the expanded portions with a puff or the like.
[0027] The liquid cosmetic holder according to an eighth aspect is the seventh aspect, wherein the annular slit has a plurality of arch-shaped portions that are curved in an arch shape convex toward the outer edge of the holder.
[0028] In this embodiment, the annular slit has a plurality of arched portions that curve convexly toward the outer edge of the holder, which is expected to be more effective in guiding the user to press the outer expanded portion with a puff or the like, compared to an embodiment in which the annular slit is composed of a plurality of angled portions.
[0029] The liquid cosmetic holder according to a ninth aspect is the liquid cosmetic holder of any one of the sixth to eighth aspects, wherein the density of the outer edge portion is higher than the density of the central portion.
[0030] In this embodiment, the density of the outer edge portion is higher than the density of the central portion. This makes it possible to prevent the liquid cosmetic from moving to the outer edge portion, and as a result, to prevent the cosmetic from being unevenly distributed around the outer edge of the holder. Note that, in this disclosure, density refers to the apparent density (kg / m 3 ) means
[0031] A liquid cosmetic holder according to a tenth aspect is any one of the first to ninth aspects, wherein the holder is an assembly of fibers having a core-sheath structure.
[0032] In this embodiment, the support is an aggregate of fibers with a core-sheath structure, which makes it possible to achieve an average amount of adhesion regardless of the number of times the support is used, compared to an embodiment in which the support is made of urethane foam, for example.
[0033] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to prevent cosmetics from being unevenly distributed around the outer edge of the cosmetic holder.
[0034] 4 is a plan view showing the holder of an example and the holder of a comparative example. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the transition of the application state of liquid foundation in the example and the comparative example. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the holder of the first embodiment. FIG. 7 is a plan view of the holder of the first embodiment. FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of a portion of FIG. 4. FIG. 9 is a plan view of the holder of the second embodiment. FIG. 10 is a plan view of the holder of the third embodiment. FIG. 11 is a table showing the amount of application to paper every 25 times in Example 1 and the comparative example. FIG. 12 is a graph of the table of FIG.
[0035] A preferred embodiment of the cosmetic holder of the present disclosure will be described below.
[0036] First Embodiment First, a liquid cosmetic holder 10 (hereinafter simply referred to as holder 10) according to a first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0037] As shown in Figure 3, the holder 10 has a front surface 12, a back surface 14, and a side surface 16 as outer surfaces of the holder 10. The front surface 12 is the surface that is visible to the user when the holder 10 is placed in a cosmetic container. The back surface 14 is the surface opposite the front surface 12. The side surface 16 is a surface that connects the outer edge of the front surface 12 and the outer edge of the back surface 14.
[0038] The front surface 12 is a flat surface, and the back surface 14 is a flat surface parallel to the front surface 12. The front surface 12 is circular when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the front surface 12. The back surface 14 has the same shape as the front surface 12, specifically a circle, when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the back surface 14. The side surface 16 is a curved surface and extends in the vertical direction (thickness direction). As a result, the holder 10 has a flat cylindrical outer shape.
[0039] The holder 10 is configured to be able to hold liquid cosmetics (liquid foundation, etc.). Specifically, the holder 10 is formed from a porous resin. Examples of porous resins include an aggregate of polyolefin fibers and expanded plastic foam.
[0040] The porous resin is preferably, for example, an aggregate of fibers with a sheath-core structure. A fiber with a sheath-core structure is a fiber in which a core portion is surrounded by a sheath portion. A fiber with a sheath-core structure is made of a thermoplastic resin, and the core portion is made of a thermoplastic resin having a higher melting point than the sheath portion. The materials of the core portion and sheath portion of a fiber with a sheath-core structure are not particularly limited, but polyolefin resin is preferred. When the holder 10 is an aggregate of fibers with a sheath-core structure, an average amount of adhesion can be achieved regardless of the number of uses, compared to, for example, an embodiment in which the holder 10 is formed of urethane foam.
[0041] The holder 10 has a slit 20 that penetrates from the front surface 12 to the back surface 14. The specific configuration of the slit 20 will be described later.
[0042] The manufacturing method of the holder 10 comprises the following steps: (1) A plate-shaped porous resin is manufactured. (2) The plate-shaped porous resin is punched to form the cylindrical holder 10. The surfaces formed by punching become the side surfaces 16. The front and back surfaces of the plate-shaped porous resin become the front surface 12 and back surface 14 of the holder 10 as they are. (3) A blade is cut from the front surface 12 to the back surface 14 to form a slit 20.
[0043] It is preferable to carry out steps (2) and (3) simultaneously, which simplifies the manufacturing process. Forming the slits simultaneously with punching can be achieved by providing a blade for forming the slits on the punching die. However, step (2) may be carried out before or after step (3).
[0044] (Specific Configuration of Slit: Facet) Next, a specific configuration of the slit 20 will be described.
[0045] 4, the holder 10 has a plurality of Y-shaped slits 20. In the present disclosure, each of the plurality of Y-shaped slits 20 is referred to as a Y-shaped slit 20, but the plurality of Y-shaped slits 20 may also be referred to as a slit 20 as a whole.
[0046] The Y-shaped slit 20 is a composite slit consisting of a first slit 21 extending in a first direction from the reference point P, a second slit 22 extending in a second direction from the reference point P, and a third slit 23 extending in a third direction from the reference point P.
[0047] In this embodiment, the first direction, second direction, and third direction are all directions along the surface 12 (directions perpendicular to the up-down direction), the second direction is a direction inclined 120 degrees from the first direction, and the third direction is a direction inclined 240 degrees from the first direction.
[0048] As shown in Figure 5, the length L1 (dimension in the first direction) of the first slit 21, the length L2 (dimension in the second direction) of the second slit 22, and the length L3 (dimension in the third direction) of the third slit 23 are all the same.
[0049] A plurality of Y-shaped slits 20 are provided so as to be aligned in the first direction, the second direction, and the third direction, thereby forming a plurality of triangular areas partitioned by the slits 20.
[0050] The distance D1 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and the Y-shaped slit 20 located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20 is greater than the length L1 of the first slit 21. The distance D2 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and the Y-shaped slit 20 located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20 is greater than the length L2 of the second slit 22. The distance D3 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and the Y-shaped slit 20 located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20 is greater than the length L3 of the third slit 23. As a result, the Y-shaped slit 20 is not connected to other Y-shaped slits 20 adjacent to the Y-shaped slit 20. This ensures the strength of the holder 10.
[0051] From the viewpoint of ensuring the strength of the holder 10, it is preferable that the length L1 of the first slit 21 be 90% or less of the distance D1 between adjacent Y-shaped slits 20. On the other hand, it is preferable that the length L1 of the first slit 21 be 50% or more of the distance D1 between adjacent Y-shaped slits 20, from the viewpoint of ensuring the flexibility of the holder 10. The same can be said for the second slit 22 and the third slit 23.
[0052] As shown in Figure 4, the outer edge of the holder 10 is a portion where no slits 20 are formed, thereby ensuring the strength of the holder 10. Note that, since no slits are formed on the outer edge, the Y-shaped slits 20 provided near the outer edge will have an incomplete shape.
[0053] <Operation and Effect> Next, the operation and effect of this embodiment will be described.
[0054] One possible reason for the uneven distribution of cosmetics around the outer edge of the holder 10 is that when pressure is applied to the vicinity of the center of the holder 10, the cosmetics held near the center move toward the outer edge of the holder 10. Therefore, in this embodiment, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the holder 10 has slits 20 formed from the front surface 12 to the back surface 14. This allows cosmetics that would otherwise move toward the outer edge of the holder 10 to pass through the slits 20 and move toward the front surface 12. As a result, the amount of cosmetics that moves toward the outer edge of the holder 10 can be reduced. Furthermore, the area around the slits 20 is more likely to deform, dispersing the force, which is expected to result in the liquid cosmetics being more evenly applied to a puff or the like.
[0055] As described above, according to this embodiment, uneven distribution of cosmetics around the outer edge of the holder 10 can be suppressed.
[0056] In this embodiment, the slit 20 penetrates from the front surface 12 to the back surface 14. Therefore, the holder 10 can be placed in the cosmetic container without worrying about the front and back of the holder 10.
[0057] In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4 , the slits 20 include multiple Y-shaped slits 20. The Y-shaped slits 20 include a first slit 21 extending in a first direction from a reference point P of the Y-shaped slit 20, a second slit 22 extending in a second direction from the reference point P of the Y-shaped slit 20, and a third slit 23 extending in a third direction from the reference point P of the Y-shaped slit 20. Here, the first direction, second direction, and third direction are all directions along the surface 12, the second direction is tilted approximately 120 degrees relative to the first direction, and the third direction is tilted approximately 240 degrees relative to the first direction. The multiple Y-shaped slits 20 are arranged in the first direction, second direction, and third direction, forming multiple triangular blocks. This allows the holder 10 to be divided into multiple blocks, achieving flexibility over a wide range of the holder 10. As a result, the cosmetic product can be evenly applied to a puff or the like. Note that approximately 120 degrees means 120±10 degrees. It should be noted that approximately 240 degrees means 240±10 degrees.
[0058] 5, in this embodiment, the length L1 of the first slit 21 is preferably 50% or more, more preferably 60% or more, and particularly preferably 70% or more, of the distance D1 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20, the length L2 of the second slit 22 is preferably 50% or more, more preferably 60% or more, and particularly preferably 70% or more, of the distance D2 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20, and the length L3 of the third slit 23 is preferably 50% or more, more preferably 60% or more, and particularly preferably 70% or more, of the distance D3 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20. This allows the holder 10 to have sufficient flexibility.
[0059] 5, in this embodiment, the length L1 of the first slit 21 is preferably 90% or less, more preferably 85% or less, and particularly preferably 80% or less, of the distance D1 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the first direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20, the length L2 of the second slit 22 is preferably 90% or less, more preferably 85% or less, and particularly preferably 80% or less, of the distance D2 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the second direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20, and the length of the third slit 23 is preferably 90% or less, more preferably 85% or less, and particularly preferably 80% or less, of the distance D3 between the Y-shaped slit 20 and another Y-shaped slit 20 located on the third direction side of the Y-shaped slit 20. This ensures the strength of the holder 10.
[0060] Second Embodiment: Annular Slit Next, with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7, holders 10A and 10B according to a second embodiment will be described.
[0061] FIG. 6 is a plan view of a holder 10A according to the second embodiment.
[0062] 6, the holder 10A has an annular slit 30 (flower-shaped slit) that has an annular shape along the outer edge of the holder 10A. The annular slit 30 divides the holder 10A into a central portion 40 and an outer edge portion 50. The only slit formed in the holder 10A is the annular slit 30.
[0063] The annular slit 30 is composed of a plurality of (four) arch-shaped portions 31. The arch-shaped portions 31 are arch-shaped slits that are convex radially outward.
[0064] The arched portions 31 form outer expanded portions 41. In other words, the central portion 40 has multiple outer expanded portions 41 that are portions outside an imaginary circle 60 inscribed in the annular slit 30. The outer expanded portions 41 are portions of the central portion 40 and the outer edge portion 50, which are defined by the annular slit 30, that are located outside the imaginary circle 60 in the central portion 40. The arched portions 31 are expected to have the effect of guiding the user to press the outer expanded portions 41 formed by the arched portions 31 with a puff or the like. As a result, the outer portions are more likely to be pressed against the center of the holder 10A, preventing the liquid cosmetic from being unevenly distributed near the outer edge of the holder 10A.
[0065] The multiple arched portions 31 penetrate from the front surface 12 to the back surface 14. Therefore, the entire annular slit 30 penetrates the holder 10A. As a result, the central portion 40 and the outer edge portion 50 are completely separated by the annular slit 30.
[0066] Here, the central portion 40 and the outer edge portion 50 may have different structures. For example, the density of the outer edge portion 50 may be higher than the density of the central portion 40. In this case, the movement of the liquid cosmetic to the outer edge portion 50 is suppressed, and as a result, uneven distribution of the liquid cosmetic near the outer edge of the holder 10A can be suppressed. The density of the outer edge portion 50 is preferably 1.2 times or more, more preferably 1.5 times or more, and particularly preferably 2.0 times or more, of the density of the central portion 40. Furthermore, the density of the outer edge portion 50 is preferably 10 times or less, more preferably 5 times or less, and particularly preferably 3 times or less, of the density of the central portion 40. As an example, the density of the central portion 40 is 40 kg / m 3The density of the outer edge portion 50 is 80 kg / m 3 is.
[0067] (Modification of Second Embodiment) FIG. 7 is a plan view of a holder 10B according to a modification of the second embodiment.
[0068] The holder 10B has an annular slit 30B (star-shaped slit) that, like the annular slit 30, extends along the outer edge of the holder 10B and divides the holder 10B into a central portion 40 and an outer edge portion 50.
[0069] The annular slit 30B is composed of multiple (eight) mountain-shaped portions 32. Each mountain-shaped portion 32 is a portion composed of two linear slits. The central portion 40 has multiple outer expanded portions 41 that are portions outside an imaginary circle 60 inscribed in the annular slit 30B.
[0070] Next, the effects of the second embodiment will be described.
[0071] In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6, the slit 30 includes an annular slit 30 along the outer edge of the holder 10A, dividing the holder 10A into a central portion 40 and an outer edge portion 50. This allows the cosmetics to more easily migrate to the surface 12 at the location where the annular slit 30 is formed. As a result, the amount of cosmetics that migrates to the periphery of the outer edge of the holder 10A can be effectively reduced. This effect is also achieved in the modified holder 10B shown in Fig. 7.
[0072] In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6, the central portion 40 has multiple outwardly expanded portions 41 that are located outside an imaginary circle 60 inscribed in the annular slit 30. Therefore, the central portion 40 is partially expanded radially outward in the circumferential direction. This structure is expected to have the effect of encouraging the user to press the expanded portions with a puff or the like. This effect is also achieved in the modified holder 10B shown in Fig. 7.
[0073] 6, the annular slit 30 has a plurality of arch-shaped portions 31 that are curved in an arch shape convex toward the outer edge of the holder 10A. Therefore, compared to an embodiment in which the annular slit 30 is composed of a plurality of angled portions 32 (see FIG. 7), this embodiment is expected to be more effective in guiding the user to press the outwardly expanding portion 41 with a puff or the like.
[0074] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the slits 30 are shaped like a flower or a star, so the flower or star appears as a pattern, providing a highly aesthetically pleasing design. When a large amount of cosmetic (liquid foundation) is held in the holders 10A and 10B, the pattern is difficult for the user to see, whereas as the amount of cosmetic held decreases, the star or flower shape becomes more visible. Therefore, not only is the design highly aesthetic (gorgeous), but the effect of making it visually easy to see when the remaining amount is low can also be expected.
[0075] The present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to examples, but the present disclosure is not limited to these examples and can be implemented in various forms with various modifications and improvements based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art.
[0076] A cylindrical porous resin having a diameter of 46.5 mm and a height of 10 mm was prepared. The porous resin was an aggregate of polyolefin fibers and could be produced by, for example, the method described in JP 2017-176816 A.
[0077] The cosmetic holder of Example 1 was manufactured by forming slits through the porous resin as shown in Figure 1. Examples 2 and 3 were manufactured by combining two types of porous resin so that the density of the cosmetic holder at the outer edge was higher than that of the cosmetic holder at the center. The comparative example was the same as Example 1 except that it did not have slits.
[0078] The cosmetic holders of the examples and comparative examples were filled with liquid foundation. The puff of an applicator was pressed against the cosmetic holder to attach the liquid foundation to the puff, and the puff was then pressed against a piece of paper to apply the liquid foundation to the paper. This procedure was repeated 100 times.
[0079] The results are shown in Figure 2.
[0080] In the comparative example, the application of liquid foundation was inconsistent, with insufficient application observed in the center. In the comparative example, the cosmetics in the center were consumed, and the cosmetics were unevenly distributed around the outer edge of the cosmetics holder.
[0081] On the other hand, it can be seen that the application state of the liquid foundation is consistent in the cosmetic holder of the example. It can be said that the uneven distribution of the cosmetics is suppressed in the cosmetic holder of the example, even after repeated use.
[0082] In addition to the above, the present inventors also conducted the following experiment.
[0083] The following two types of cosmetic support were used (see Figure 1): Cosmetic support of Example 1 (faceted) Cosmetic support of Comparative Example (normal)
[0084] The cosmetic holders of Example 1 and Comparative Example were filled with liquid foundation. The puff of the applicator was pressed against the cosmetic holder to attach the liquid foundation to the puff, and the puff was then pressed against a piece of paper to apply the liquid foundation to the paper. This procedure was repeated 400 times for each of Example 1 and Comparative Example. Note that there was a gap of approximately two months between experiments 1 to 100 and experiments 101 to 400.
[0085] The paper was changed every 25 times, and the mass of the paper before application was calculated by subtracting the mass of the paper on which 25 times of liquid foundation had been applied from the mass of the paper on which 25 times of liquid foundation had been applied. The mass unit is grams.
[0086] The results are shown in Figures 8 and 9. Normal corresponds to the comparative example, and facet corresponds to Example 1.
[0087] As can be seen from Figure 9, the Comparative Example achieved a high amount of adhesion in the first half (1 to 100 times), but the amount of adhesion decreased significantly in the second half. In contrast, the amount of adhesion in Example 1 was lower in the first half (1 to 100 times) than the Comparative Example, but higher in the second half. In other words, Example 1 achieved a stable amount of adhesion regardless of the number of uses. This is presumably due to the formation of slits, which suppress uneven distribution of cosmetics around the outer edge of the holder.
[0088] Although the preferred embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, these are merely specific examples, and the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments.
