Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] Person signaling device

[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification indicates, establishes a device for identifying people within a crowd and which can be used to carry distinctive elements. This is an innovation that, within current techniques, offers previously unknown advantages.

[0005] The device can be used by a variety of people, such as tour guides, teachers, or those who need to be followed by a group of people.

[0006] The purpose of the device is therefore to allow the guide or leader to be easily seen and recognized by their group, while allowing them to have their hands free to explain, point, or hold other types of objects.

[0007] TECHNICAL SECTOR

[0008] Therefore, this invention is limited to the sector of manufacturing supports or accessories used by tour guides, teachers or similar to be recognized by a group of people.

[0009] STATE OF THE ART

[0010] It's very common for tour guides to use various distinctive objects, such as banners, umbrellas, or various items they can hold onto something so that the group of people following them can easily recognize them and follow them from a distance. However, these types of objects aren't specifically designed for that purpose, so they're usually not very visible in large crowds, which is very common in tourist areas.

[0011] Furthermore, for it to be visible, the guide, teacher, or similar person must hold it high with their arm raised, which is uncomfortable and also prevents the user from using that hand to express themselves and make gestures, or to hold other objects such as a mobile phone or an umbrella if it's raining.

[0012] In order to solve the detailed problems, the current invention is presented.

[0013] The existence of any product with the same technical characteristics as the invention presented here is unknown.

[0014] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] The object of the present invention is the creation of a person signaling device that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.

[0016] The person-beacon device allows the person wearing it to be easily identified and recognized by the group of people following them. All this with the convenience of having their hands free.

[0017] To achieve this, the person-marking device comprises a longitudinal element that can be connected to a part of the guide's clothing. This way, the user doesn't have to hold it with their hand; they can simply attach it to their belt, backpack, umbrella, or other clothing or other item they're carrying, thus keeping their hands free.

[0018] At the top end, the longitudinal element has a light-emitting element. This light-emitting element, which is usually an LED, will allow you to quickly see the location of the guide.

[0019] The light-emitting element will be powered by an electrical power source and controlled by an activation and control element. The electrical power source will be a rechargeable or disposable battery.

[0020] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES

[0021] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is attached, as an integral part thereof, with a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented.

[0022] Figure 1 shows a view of an example of the person signaling device.

[0023] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0024] The person signaling device comprises a longitudinal element (1) that has a means of joining it with a part of the guide's clothing, and at the upper end it has a light emitting element (3) powered by an electrical power source and controlled by an activation and control element.

[0025] In a preferred embodiment, the light-emitting element (3) is an LED that can be configured to various colors via the activation and control element. Thus, if there are several guides in the same area, each of them can set the light-emitting element (3) to a different color. This will easily allow the group to identify which guide is theirs. The light-emitting element (3) can also be made to oscillate between two or more colors, each guide with its own combination: red-green, blue-white-yellow, etc.

[0026] Typically, the activation and control element is a push button (2). This push button (2) can be configured to change color each time it is pressed. This makes it very intuitive and easy to use.

[0027] The longitudinal element (1) can be telescopic, being formed by a plurality of sections (1.1) that move from a folded position, one inside the other, to an unfolded position, the light emitting element (3) being fixed at the end of the last section.

[0028] This will allow the guide or user to easily store it when not in use.

[0029] In a preferred embodiment, the end of the longitudinal element (1) comprises a means for securing it to a distinctive object. The distinctive object may be a banner, a handkerchief, or any other element that distinguishes one guide from another.

[0030] The distinctive object may also consist of a plastic sleeve (4) with an opening configured to introduce a printed laminar element inside, with a closing flap in the opening.

[0031] For example, the guide can print a number, figure, or similar item on a piece of paper and insert it into the bag. This will allow the group to easily identify it.

[0032] Generally, the means of attachment to the distinctive object are two clips (5). Since the clips (5) are very versatile, serving to hold a handkerchief, a banner or the cover (4) mentioned above. The means of attachment to the garment may be a second clip (6) arranged at the lower end of the longitudinal element (1).

[0033] Preferably, the longitudinal element (1) will be connected to the connecting means through a joint (7) with a locking system. This will allow the guide or user to orient the longitudinal element (1) as required, for example, to overcome an obstacle that could be caused by an umbrella carried by the guide or user, or a hat, among others.

[0034] The joint locking system can be a pin, with a spring, which when pressed releases the movement of the joint and when released locks it.

[0035] In another embodiment, the longitudinal element (1) may be made of a malleable material. This malleable material may be of the swan's neck type.

[0036] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field may understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
