AI Technical Summary
Current trailer door systems rely on hydraulic systems, which are costly, labor-intensive, prone to leaks causing environmental damage, and inefficient in cold weather, necessitating a more efficient and cost-effective solution.
A pneumatic system is implemented to operate the trailer door, utilizing air tanks on the vehicle to provide cylinder movement without electrical or hydraulic equipment, reducing the need for cables and hoses, and incorporating safety features like pneumatic check valves to prevent unintended movement.
The pneumatic system reduces costs, simplifies maintenance, minimizes labor time, and ensures safety by eliminating hydraulic hose installations and electrical cable pulling, while preventing environmental damage from leaks.

Abstract
Description
[0001] PNEUMATIC CONTROLLED REAR DOOR
[0002] Field of the Invention
[0003] The. present invention relates to a pneumatic controlled rear door, which is used for opening / closing functions by acting as a door in the opening door of trailers, twindeck cargo transport vehicles, and which operates with a pneumatic system, thus eliminating the need for electrical and hydraulic equipment.
[0004] State of the Art
[0005] Trailers are vehicles that are towed by a motorized vehicle and designed and manufactured according to the characteristics of the load they will carry. Trailers have at least one axle and are connected to the vehicles they are towed by means of a coupling device defined as towing arrow, turntable, hook, kingpin and so on. Trailers are road vehicles used for carrying loads, and according to the highway regulations, semi-trailers are classified as 01 , 02, 03, 04.
[0006] Trailer vehicles are optionally equipped with a taillift (rear loading lift), which can be used as both a door and a loading ramp. This structure is controlled by a hydraulic system as standard. These lifts are manually controlled and are folded and closed by means of cylinders with a hydraulic system. With the pressure provided by the hydraulic motor, the fluid applies pressure to the taillift cylinders and enables the ramp to open / close.
[0007] The taillift system is also used in vehicles with a twindeck structure. This system enables the door to open and close by providing cylinder movement with the signal coming from the control units.
[0008] In current applications, there are 24v batteries on the vehicle. These batteries are charged electrically via sockets, the type of which is determined according to customer demand. When the hydraulic motor, which is powered by batteries, operates, it provides movement by pressing hydraulic fluid into the cylinders.
[0009] In the current situation, a power group (hydraulic motor and unit) and a feeding group (battery and charging units) are required to provide energy to the hydraulic system to provide movement. Cables must be pulled from the front to the back of the car and these cables must be connected to the engine. These wiring and connection works cause loss of time for labor. In addition, in some vehicles, problems are encountered in hydraulic systems, with the liquid fluid freezing in cold weather conditions and preventing the movement of the cylinders.
[0010] In hydraulic systems, a lot of equipment is needed to operate the taillift cylinder. For this reason, high charges may occur in terms of costs. The serviceability of a hydraulically installed taillift circuit is difficult. When there is a leak in the hydraulic fluid in the system, it damages both the materials carried in the vehicle and the environment.
[0011] As a result, due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.
[0012] Brief Description of the Invention
[0013] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned negativities and it is inspired by the current situation.
[0014] The object of the present invention is to operate the opening door of twindeck vehicles with a pneumatic system for opening / closing functions, so that it only functions as a door.
[0015] Another object of the present invention is to provide the required air from the air tanks on the vehicle. In this way, cylinder movement will be provided by pneumatic installation without the need for electrical (battery, cable, socket, motor, etc.) and hydraulic (hose, valve, pump, etc.) equipment.
[0016] Another object of the present invention is that the pneumatic system is less costly since it requires less equipment than the hydraulic system. It is also much easier to service than hydraulic systems. When a fault occurs in the system, it can be eliminated without damaging the vehicle or the environment.
[0017] Another object of the present invention is that the labor time is shorter than the hydraulic system since there will be no hydraulic hose installation or electrical cable pulling and assembly. Figures Clarifying the Invention

[0026] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0027] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive system is described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter.
[0028] The system of the present invention comprises; door opening button (1 ) that controls the opening of the door, door closing button (2) that controls the closing of the door, pneumatic directional control valve (3) that provides directional control of the pneumatic line and allows the flow of compressed air to the cylinders, pneumatic cylinder (4) that provides the movement of the taillift by opening and closing with the arrival of compressed air, pneumatic check valve (5) that prevents the reverse movement of the cylinders in the event of an air leak in the system and the pneumatic pressure line (6) containing the compressed air required for the system.
[0029] Two pneumatic door opening buttons (1) and door closing buttons (2) are placed on the vehicle. The airline is drawn to this pneumatic door opening button (1) and door closing button (2) via pneumatic hoses via the pneumatic pressure line (6). This pneumatic door opening button (1 ) and door closing buttons (2) are used to control the door movement. When the pneumatic door opening button (1 ) and door closing button (2) are pressed, the opening or closing command is sent to the pneumatic directional control valve (3). Air flows to the relevant side of the taillift cylinders via the pneumatic cylinder (4) and the cylinder comes into motion. When the pressing force applied to the pneumatic door opening button (1 ) and door closing button (2) is released, the cylinder stops.
[0030] Pneumatic check valves (5) are used to ensure system safety in case of air leakage that may occur during system operation or when the door is closed. In this way, in case of air leakage in the installation, the cylinders maintain their position and safety is ensured, and the door is prevented from moving and causing harm to people and the environment.
