In computer hardware, a port serves as an interface between the computer and other computers or peripheral devices. In computer terms, a port generally refers to the part of a computing device available for connection to peripherals such as input and output devices. Computer ports have many uses, to connect a monitor, webcam, speakers, or other peripheral devices. On the physical layer, a computer port is a specialized outlet on a piece of equipment to which a plug or cable connects. Electronically, the several conductors where the port and cable contacts connect, provide a method to transfer signals between devices.
Keyboard with display effect
This utility model provides a keyboard with a display effect, comprising an upper cover and a lower cover, which together form an inner cavity. Within the inner cavity, from top to bottom, are arranged a keypad, a conductive film, a screen, and a circuit board. The circuit board has a data interface, the keypad has several key mounting slots, the upper cover has key holes, and through holes are provided at the bottom of each key mounting slot. Keycaps are mounted on each key mounting slot, and both the keycaps and the keypad are made of transparent plastic. By incorporating a screen inside the keyboard and connecting the data interface to a computer port via a data cable, the computer can automatically send the desired image or video data to the circuit board, which then controls the screen's operation. Because the keycaps and keypad are made of transparent plastic, users can view the images or videos displayed on the screen through them, satisfying those who require visual sensory experiences and providing a better user experience.
