Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile terminal and a method thereof for switching television / broadcast channels by voice control, the mobile terminal comprises a memory, a microphone, a baseband processing circuit and a central processor; the method thereof for switching television / broadcast channels by voice control comprises the steps that: (1) the microphone acquires voice signals of users for various channels, the baseband processing circuit converts the voice signal to a digital audio signal and sends the digital audio signal to the central processor as a voice control tag of the user-appointed channel in order to be stored in the memory; (2) the microphone acquires the voice signals of the users while the television / broadcast is played on the mobile terminal, and after the baseband processing circuit converts the voice signal to the digital audio signal, the central processor judges whether the voice control tag consistent with the digital audio signal is present in the memory, if so, the current channel is switched to the channel that is corresponding to the voice control tag.
