Embodiment Construction

[0015] 1. Catch the bees at the mouth of the hive, put them in ice for 1-2 minutes and wait for the bees to be anesthetized, then transfer the bees to a special electric cage (such as figure 2 , 3 Shown), each cage contains 20 to 40 bees.

[0016] 2. After 1-3 hours of adaptation, put the special electric cage d with bees into the conditioning box c to start training. During each training, the duration of the air supply is 10 seconds, and the electric shock is applied at 5 seconds after the air supply, and lasts for 10 seconds. The electric shock intensity range is 6V-9V, about 800mA, and the next training is performed at an interval of 20 to 30 minutes. Train 3-5 times.

[0017] 3. During the test, breathe for 10 seconds without electric shock, and record the bee's wing flapping response.

[0018] The training device is: a special electric cage d equipped with a number of freely moving bees is placed in a conditioning box c (size: 14×15×20 cm), and a microphone e used to collect t...

Abstract

The invention provides a training method for odor discrimination based on the flapping reflex of bees to an electric shock. The method comprises the following steps: 1) capturing bees, placing the bees in ice for anesthetization for1 to 2 minutes, and then transferring the bees to tailor-made electric cages by 20 to 40 bees per cage; accommodating for 1 to 3 hours, placing the tailor-made electric cages loaded with the bees in a gas-passage chamber and starting training, wherein, the gas supply lasts 10 seconds, and the electric shock is given 5 seconds after the gas supply and lasts 10 seconds for each training, and conducting the training for the next time after an interval of 20 to 30 minutes, and training each cage of bees for 3 to 5 times; and 3) recording the flapping reflex of the bees upon the gas supply which lasts 10 seconds without electric shock in the detection. The training method of the invention can effectively train the bees to establish the flapping reflex, particularly, the trained bees have the flapping reflex when smelling characteristic odor, in this way, the invention can provide assistance in various operations involving national defense and civil security, such as characteristic odor detection, drug and explosive enforcement, exit-entry security inspection and the like.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of detection of characteristic odors, in particular to a learning and training method for bee electric shock wing response odor. Background technique [0002] Bees have excellent sense of smell and outstanding learning and memory capabilities. Through training, they can combine specific odors and rewards and punishments to stimulate joint memory, that is, establish conditioning, and produce behavioral responses. At present, the international bee olfactory conditioning method mainly adopts the reward conditioning paradigm based on the bee extension response. In this method, the bees must be fixed and fed regularly to ensure that they are hungry before training. This brings potential applications in the future. Operational inconvenience. Summary of the invention [0003] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an odor learning and training method based on bee's electric shock wing response. [0004] In e...
