Abstract

The leaky coaxial cable overcomes the disadvantage that a conventional leaky coaxial cable cannot radiate the circularly polarized wave, and adopts an overlapped triangular gap pair and a burgee-shaped gap pair as a gap structure on an external conductor; and the two gap structures can ensure that the leaky coaxial cable realizes the radiation of the circularly polarized wave with the polarization axial ratio less than 3dB within a circumferential flare angle of between 45 and 50 DEG, and can realize the coverage of elliptically polarized wave or linearly polarized wave which is the same as thatof a conventional radiation type leaky coaxial cable and has larger polarization axial ratio in other areas.
