Abstract

The invention discloses an experimental apparatus for diffusion flames in a forced convection environment. The apparatus can be used for studying the influence of forced-convection velocities on the characteristics such as height, width, color, oscillation frequency and the like of diffusion flames. The experimental apparatus disclosed by the invention is concretely characterized in that a forcedconvection generation device is added into the existing experimental apparatus for diffusion flames, and the existing ignition device is replaced with a retractable automatic ignition device, so thatthe ignition device does not affect a forced convection environment created by the invention. The experimental apparatus disclosed by the invention has an important significance to the study on the combustion mechanism of diffusion flames.
