Abstract

The invention relates to a uniform domain name service system which comprises an application operator server and an application server, wherein the application operator server is used for applying and deploying multistage domain names, and supporting a domain name resolution service; and the application server is connected with the application operator server, and used for providing various Internet application services, and asking the application operator server for carrying out IP address binding on an applied domain names. The invention also relates to a uniform domain name service method. According to the invention, a uniform domain name is provided for various applications of customers by the application operator server, thereby facilaiting remembering and accessing; and the application operator server provides a one-stop domain name service, not only provides a domain name resolution service, but also can carry out dynamic update on the domain name binding as required.
