Abstract

The invention provides a position-based discount coupon management platform, releasing method and releasing system and an intelligent terminal. The electronic discount coupon releasing system comprises the position-based discount coupon management platform, a positioning service system and the intelligent terminal. The intelligent terminal obtains a terminal current position through the positioning service system and sends a request for acquiring discount coupons containing the discount coupons at the current position to the platform; according to position information carried in the request, the platform retrieves and releases discount coupons of shops close to the intelligent terminal in the discount coupons containing position tags; and the intelligent terminal receives and displays the discount coupons sent by the platform to enable users to select and use the discount coupons. By means of the technical scheme, an effective communication channel is established between shops and intelligent terminal users, and the fact that the discount coupons are released to the intelligent terminal users becoming customers of the shops most possibly is ensured, and potential customers active in surroundings of the shops are fully found for the shops.
