Abstract

The invention provides a frequency offset estimation method and device. Before frequency offset estimation, a first relationship between a stored frequency offset and a coefficient of a corresponding sliding filter and a second relationship between a pilot frequency signal and the coefficient of the sliding filter are obtained in advance. The frequency offset estimation method comprises the steps of: receiving the pilot frequency signal containing frequency offset; and obtaining a frequency offset of the pilot frequency signal containing the frequency offset according to the second relationship and the first relationship. According to the method and the device provided by the embodiment of the invention, through the second relationship between the pilot frequency signal and the coefficient of the sliding filter and the first relationship between the coefficient of the sliding filter and the frequency offset, which are obtained in advance, the frequency offset of the signal can be figured out according to the received pilot frequency signal, therefore, the influence on the frequency offset estimation, caused by change of channels in two time slot intervals, can be avoided, therefore, the estimated frequency offset is more accurate.
