Abstract

The present invention provides a screen brightness adjusting method which is used for adjusting the brightness of a terminal screen. The screen brightness adjusting method comprises the steps of: acquiring eyeball information of a user; matching the eyeball information with all preset eyeball information in a database; acquiring a screen brightness value corresponding to the preset eyeball information when the eyeball information is matched with one preset eyeball information in the database; and adjusting brightness of the terminal screen to the screen brightness value. The present invention also provides a screen brightness adjusting device. Through adoption of the screen brightness adjusting method and the screen brightness adjusting device, the screen brightness value of the terminal screen is adjusted according to the eyeball information of the user, thereby improving use efficiency of a mobile terminal.
