When the data in a first logical volume are needed to be migrated to a second storage device, the second storage device can create a second logical volume and can store the data of the first logical volume in the second logical volume; in a data migration process, the second storage device can receive an access request originally sent to the first logical volume in the first storage device by a host; the second storage device can execute the access request; therefore, the original service is unnecessarily interrupted in the data migration process; and the service continuity is realized.
