Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for compressing messages based on data message classification, which are applied to switch equipment. The method comprises the following steps: classifying received data messages based on a preset access control list (ACL) rule; compressing the data messages with the same data loads in the classified data messages to generate a compressed message, wherein the compressed message includes the number of messages with the same data loads and the same data loads; and reporting the compressed message to a CPU (Central Processing Unit), and sending the compressed message to opposite-end equipment by the CPU. Through the technical scheme, the transmission efficiency of the CPU of the switch equipment can be increased.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the technical field of network communication, in particular to a method and device for message compression based on data message classification. Background technique [0002] Data packets are the medium for information exchange between network devices. With the intelligentization of network devices and the complexity of the network environment, the transmission of data packets has become increasingly large. Stable and reliable data transmission between networks is especially important. [0003] Whether it is a router, a switch, or a more advanced network switching device, the switching capacity of its CPU has its own inherent capabilities. If the data packet is too large, resulting in exceeding the processing capacity of the CPU, data transmission failure and traffic loss will inevitably occur. Condition. Contents of the invention [0004] In view of this, the present application provides a packet compression metho...
