Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for adjusting the volume of an earphone. The method comprises steps that when external environment noise intensity is detected to be higher than a preset threshold, the position information and/or a motion state of a user is acquired; according to the position information and/or the motion state, a time window is determined; according to external environment noise intensity of the time window, the volume of the earphone is adjusted. Through the method, an unreasonable phenomenon of tuning the volume of the earphone in the short time segment can be avoided, taking regard of the external environment noise intensity and the the position information and/or the motion state of the user, the volume of the earphone is reasonably adjusted, and user experience is improved.
