Description

[0001] The invention relates to a carriage for moving a sash of a window or a door with a bearing unit for supporting rollers provided for rolling in a guide rail and with a support element for lateral support on inner walls of a guide rail.

[0002] A carriage of the type mentioned above is known, for example, from EP 2 829 679 A1. In this carriage, a roller is mounted below a roller assembly, which can rotate about an axis of rotation oriented perpendicular to a rebate circumferential direction and parallel to the main plane of the sash. The roller has a diameter greater than the width of the carriage assembly. In conjunction with a fixed frame, the roller prevents transverse forces from being transferred to the roller assembly. However, the necessary bearing of the roller and its fastening in the carriage are very complex. Furthermore, due to the necessary stability, the roller cannot serve as an end stop for the carriage. Such end stops are usually formed by elastic buffers, which must be installed separately.

[0003] EP 4 144 945 A1 discloses a sliding door system with a sliding door in which a stop part is attached to the end faces of a carriage body. Lateral support of the carriage body is not provided.

[0004] EP 2 330 268 A2 describes elastic hooks arranged on the side surfaces of a body supporting the rollers, which engage behind projections of a damper. These projections prevent the damper from jumping out of the damper. The elastic hooks cannot provide lateral support or an end stop.

[0005] The invention is based on the problem of developing a carriage of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it is particularly easy to construct and assemble.

[0006] This problem is solved according to the invention in that the support element has two sliders pointing away from each other and in that the sliders are arranged on two extensions of the support element.

[0007] This design creates particularly simple lateral support for the carriage on the inner walls of the track. In the simplest case, the carriage uses a single support element with gliders extending parallel to the axial direction of the rollers on two broad sides. Because the gliders are arranged on two extensions, the support element can be manufactured in one piece. This makes the carriage particularly easy to construct and install.

[0008] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the assembly of the support element is particularly simple if the extensions are held in recesses of mutually opposing bearing plates of the bearing unit which support the rollers.

[0009] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the support element contributes to the stability of the carriage if the support element has a central body that holds the bearing plates at a predetermined distance from each other. By selecting sufficient fastening of the extensions in the recesses and ensuring the stability of the material, the support element can also be designed as a frame component of the carriage that connects the bearing plates to each other.

[0010] According to another advantageous development of the invention, tilting of the carriage in the guide rail can be easily avoided if a support element is arranged at each end of the bearing unit.

[0011] According to another advantageous development of the invention, an end stop for the carriage is particularly simple in design if the support element with a stop projects beyond an end face of the bearing unit. This results in a particularly small number of components for assembly of the carriage. Preferably, the carriage has a support element with a stop at each end.

[0012] According to another advantageous development of the invention, broad support of the carriage in the end position can be easily ensured if the stop is arranged on a baffle plate and if the baffle plate faces the front edges of the bearing plates. This ensures that the stop is at least as wide as the bearing unit. Furthermore, the support element, with its extensions and baffle plate, is reliably aligned with the bearing plates and thus with the carriage. The baffle plate and the extensions prevent the support element from tilting or twisting in the carriage.

[0013] According to another advantageous development of the invention, it contributes to a further reduction in the number of components of the carriage to be assembled if the support element has a receptacle for holding a brush.

[0014] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the brush can easily be prevented from slipping out of the holder sideways if the holder is designed in the shape of a groove and is covered by the bearing plates.

[0015] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the mounting of the brush is simplified if the receptacle has at least one undercut for engaging behind a brush holder carrying a brush body. Preferably, the receptacle has two opposing undercuts, each engaging behind an edge of the brush holder.

[0016] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the brush holder is reliably clamped in the support element if the receptacle has an elevation on the side opposite the at least one undercut.

[0017] According to another advantageous development of the invention, the carriage can be manufactured particularly cost-effectively if the support element is made in one piece from rubber-elastic material.

[0018] The invention permits numerous embodiments. To further clarify its basic principle, one of them is shown in the drawing and is described below. This shows in Fig. 1 a window with a sliding sash and two carriages, Fig. 2 one of the carriages Fig. 1 in a perspective view, Fig. 3 a sectional view of the carriage from Fig. 2 along line III - III, Fig. 4 an enlarged partial section through a support element with adjacent areas of the carriage from Fig. 2 along line IV - IV, Fig. 5 an enlarged partial section through a support element with adjacent areas of the carriage from Fig. 3 along the line V - V, Fig. 6 an enlarged partial section through a support element with a brush with adjacent areas of the carriage from Fig. 3 along line VI - VI, Fig. 7 an exploded view of the carriage from Fig. 2.

[0019] Fig. 1 shows a sliding window with a sash 2 that can be positioned away from a frame 1 and slidable relative to it, in a sliding position in which the sash 2 is positioned away from the frame 1 and can be slid relative to it. On its lower side, the sliding window has two carriages 4, 5 guided on a guide rail 3 and on its upper side two slidably guided stays 6, 7 designed, for example, as tilt stays. Furthermore, the sliding window has a schematically illustrated drive rod fitting 8 with a drive rod 10 that can be moved longitudinally by a handle 9 for locking the sash 2 in the frame 1.

[0020] Fig. 2 shows in perspective one of the carriages 4 from Fig. 1 in an enlarged view. The carriage 4 has a base 11 and a bearing unit 12 with two rollers 13, 14. The base and the bearing unit, as well as the connection of the components, is shown in Fig. 3 is shown in more detail. Fig. 3 shows the carriage from Fig. 2 in a sectional view along the line III - III.

[0021] The base 11 has a base body 15 intended for screwing to the leaf 2. Also arranged in the base body 15 is an adjusting body 16 coupled to the bearing unit 12. The carriage 4 has an adjustment device 17 for adjusting the height of the base body 15 relative to the rollers 13, 14. The bearing unit 12 has a bearing body 18 for directly supporting the rollers 13, 14 and a guide body 19.

[0022] The bearing body 18 has impact plates 20, 21 at each of its ends, which have a stop 22, 23. Furthermore, the bearing body 18 has lateral sliders 26, 27 arranged on extensions 24, 25 for lateral support on the Fig. 1 schematically illustrated guide rail 3. Between the rollers 13, 14 and the impact plates 20, 21, the carriage 4 also has brushes 28, 29, which brush the guide rail 3 when it is moved.

[0023] The adjustment device 17 has a slotted guide 30 arranged in the guide body 19 with an inclined slotted guide. A pin 31 of the adjusting body 16 penetrates into the inclined slotted guide. The guide body 19 also has elongated holes 32, 33 facing in the running direction of the carriage 4 for bearing axes 34, 35 of the rollers 13, 14. An adjusting screw 35 of the adjustment device 17 serves to adjust the bearing body 18 relative to the guide body 19. The adjusting screw 36 is screwed into a transverse element 37 of the guide body 19 and is connected to the bearing body 18 in a rotatable and axially immovable manner. When the adjusting screw 36 is turned, the bearing body 18 with the rollers 13, 14 moves relative to the guide body 19. The pin 31 of the adjusting body 16 slides in the link guide 30 and adjusts the distance between the rollers 13, 14 relative to the adjusting body 16.

[0024] A coupling rod 38, which is guided longitudinally in the base body 15, serves to connect to the drive rod 10 of the drive rod fitting 8 made of Fig. 1. For this purpose, the coupling rod 38 has a coupling element 39 which is designed to complement a conventional locking pin of the drive rod fitting 8 which is fastened to the drive rod 10. The base body 15 has a transverse to the running direction of the carriage 4 and perpendicular to the plane of the drawing of the Fig. 3 pointing guide 40 for the adjusting body 16.

[0025] How Fig. 3 shows, a control pin 41 attached to the coupling rod 38 has a bearing ring 43 guided in a longitudinal guide 42 of the base body 15 and a further bearing ring 45 guided in a stop link 44 of the actuating body 16. The bearing rings 43, 45 are arranged eccentrically to one another and are rotatably mounted on the control pin 41. By rotating the control pin 41 in the coupling rod 38, its eccentricity can be adjusted and thus the base body 15 can be moved perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. The shape of the stop link 44 is S-shaped and is shown in perspective in Fig. 7. When the coupling rod 38 is moved by driving the drive rod 10, the control pin 41 is moved in the stop link 44 and thus the adjusting body 16 is adjusted relative to the base body 15 perpendicular to the plane of the drawing. This also Fig. 1, the sash 2 shown is placed in its plane opposite the frame 1 into the sliding position or pulled against the frame 1 into a locking position.

[0026] Fig. 4 shows an enlarged sectional view through one end of the bearing body 18 of the bearing unit 12 from Fig. 2 along the line IV - IV. The impact plate 20 is manufactured in one piece with a support element 46. The support element 46 also has a receptacle 47 for the brush 28. The brush 28 has a brush body 48 and a brush holder 49. The brush holder 49 is held in the receptacle 47 by two undercuts 50, 51 and supported by a raised portion 52. In conjunction with the perspective view from Fig. 2 it can be seen that the impact plate 20 projects beyond the edges of bearing plates 53, 54 of the bearing body 18.

[0027] Fig. 5 shows an enlarged sectional view through the bearing body 18 of Fig. 2 along the line V-V, the extensions 24, 24' having the sliders 26 are manufactured in one piece with the support element 46. The support element 46 has a central body 55 that holds the bearing plates 53, 54 at a distance from one another. The extensions 24, 24' penetrate the bearing plates 53, 54 in recesses 56, 56'.

[0028] Fig. 6 shows an enlarged sectional view through the bearing body 16 from Fig. 3 along the line VI - VI, that the brush 28 is held between the bearing plates 53, 54.

[0029] Fig. Figure 8 shows the components of the carriage 4 prior to assembly in a perspective view. The pin 31 has a press fit in the actuator. In an alternative embodiment, not shown, the pin can also be manufactured in one piece with the actuator. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
