Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular to a novel wiring terminal. Background Art

[0002] A terminal block, also known as a plug-in terminal or a plug-in connector, is an electrical device that can accommodate two or more wires and allow these wires to be electrically connected. Usually, the contact of this terminal is generally composed of a spring steel plate and a busbar made of a material with good electrical conductivity and shared by the clamping part. A plurality of elastic tongues in the form of leaf spring tongues are punched or punched out from the spring steel plate corresponding to the number of clamping parts. The clamping part is formed by the spring steel plate and the busbar together to electrically and mechanically clamp a wire inserted into the connection terminal.

[0003] The busbar is a strong and rigid contact plate made of copper with good electrical conductivity. The contact plate is the load-bearing element of the contact assembly, and the busbar is placed in a spring steel plate with punched elastic tongues. The wire to be clamped first enters the wire channel through the jack, so that the inserted wire with the stripped insulation is crimped into the contact assembly with the help of the corresponding elastic tongues.

[0004] This type of terminal is now widely used in electrical equipment. However, successful products must also comply with market requirements, such as low production costs and miniaturized structural design. However, in the prior art, the connector structure is not compact enough, it is difficult to insert the wire and the stability of the wire after installation is poor, resulting in unstable wiring and difficulty in plugging in the wire. Even in the long-term use process, the contact assembly may not be in good contact with the wire, affecting the normal operation of the connector. Summary of the invention

[0005] The invention discloses a novel wiring terminal, aiming to improve the problems of difficult insertion and unstable wiring of existing wiring terminals.

[0006] The present invention adopts the following scheme:

[0007] A new type of terminal is used for electrically connecting at least two wires. The terminal includes: a housing body with an installation cavity, a contact assembly disposed in the installation cavity, and a support member disposed in the installation cavity in a detachable manner and having a jack; the contact assembly includes a conductive clip and a bus bar. The conductive clip is provided with at least two wire passing channels and elastic tongues corresponding to the wire passing channels. The bus bar is inserted into the wire passing channels and supported in the housing body; the conductive clip is disposed in the installation cavity with an opening facing the support member, assembled to the installation cavity via the support member, and the wire with the insulating outer skin stripped can pass through the jack and be inserted into the wire passing channels in a manner located between the conductive clip and the bus bar, so that the elastic tongues are pressed against the wire; the conductive clip is integrally bent and formed from a spring steel plate, and has a connected support section, a tongue forming section, an approximately U-shaped cavity section, and an extension section; wherein, the support section abuts against the support member, and the support section and the tongue forming section are connected by a pre-deformed first elastic arch; the tongue forming section forms the spaced elastic tongues via punching, and one end of the tongue forming section and the approximately U-shaped cavity section are connected by a pre-deformed second elastic arch. The other end of the approximately U-shaped cavity section is horizontally extended with the extension section, and the wire passing channels communicate with the inside of the approximately U-shaped cavity section; both ends of the tongue forming section are respectively connected to the support section and the approximately U-shaped cavity section by pre-deformed arched structures, correspondingly forming a wire clamping space between the conductive clip and the bus bar, and the wire with the insulating outer skin stripped can be elastically pressed in the wire clamping space.

[0008] As a further improvement, the arched portions of the first elastic arch and the second elastic arch face the direction close to the pressed wire, so that the opening of the conductive clip expands outward.

[0009] As a further improvement, the elastic tongue has a connection end fixed to the spring steel plate and a free end extending close to the wire passing channel. From the connection end to the free end, the elastic tongue is in an arched bending structure, and at least two linear bending segments are provided to be pre-deformed and folded back to press the wire; wherein, the arched bending of the elastic tongue and the arched bending formed by the support section and the tongue forming section are arranged facing each other.

[0010] As a further improvement, the end of the free end is located outside the cavity formed by the approximately U-shaped cavity section in the initial state, and there is a height difference between the free end and the connection end. When the wire is inserted into the wire passing channel, the height difference correspondingly becomes smaller.

[0011] As a further improvement, the elastically formed tongues formed by punching correspondingly form window gaps on the spring steel plate located in the tongue forming section, and the window gaps communicate with the corresponding wire passing channels.

[0012] As a further improvement, the two ends of the approximate U-shaped cavity section are arranged in parallel, and the corners thereof are connected by R corners; elastic protrusions are correspondingly arranged inside the approximate U-shaped cavity section relative to the wire passing channel, and the busbar inserted into the wire passing channel is supported on the elastic protrusions.

[0013] As a further improvement, the elastic protrusions, the wire passing channels and the elastic tongues correspond to each inserted wire one by one.

[0014] As a further improvement, the busbar is formed by bending a conductive sheet structure, and it has a head that matches the wire passing channel and extends outside the channel and a bending part arranged on the side far from the head.

[0015] As a further improvement, the support member is configured in the installation cavity in a detachable manner through a quick-release structure, and the quick-release structure includes a convex block and a card slot adapted to the convex block.

[0016] As a further improvement, a partition corresponding to the end section of the elastic tongue is arranged at the front end of the support surface where the support member abuts against the conductive clip, and the partition is located between the elastic tongue and the jack.

[0017] By adopting the above technical solutions, the present invention can achieve the following technical effects:

[0018] For the terminal of the present application, a conductive clip is formed by integrally bending a spring steel plate, and the two ends of the tongue forming section of the conductive clip are respectively connected to the support section and the approximate U-shaped cavity section through a pre-deformed elastic arch structure, so that a wire clamping space is formed between the conductive clip and the busbar. The wire with the insulating outer skin stripped can be more elastically pressed into the wire clamping space, ensuring that the wire is firmly electrically connected in the terminal assembly and enabling stable electrical connection between multiple wires. Moreover, the inner part of the approximate U-shaped cavity section connected to the wire passing channel has an inner cavity in an approximate U-shaped structure to correspondingly expand the accommodation space of the wire, so that the wire placed in the wire passing channel and pressed in the contact assembly is stably placed in the wire clamping space, facilitating the quick insertion of the wire and providing a more elastic and effective pressing force.

[0019] Furthermore, the arched portions of the first elastic arch and the second elastic arch are oriented toward the conductor so that the opening of the conductive clip expands outward, and correspondingly, the elastic tongue is in an arch bridge-shaped bending structure, and has at least two bending sections that are pre-deformed and folded back to the crimped conductor, so that the arch bridge-shaped bend of the elastic tongue and the arch bend formed by the supporting end and the tongue forming section of the conductive clip are arranged opposite to each other, and the conductor elastically crimped on the free end of the elastic tongue is subjected to the common elastic bending action of the two arch bends. When the conductor stripped of its insulating sheath is inserted into the wire-passing channel along the jack and elastically crimped in the wire clamping space, the arch bridge-shaped bend of the elastic tongue causes the end of the conductor to abut against and drive the free end of the elastic tongue to lift upward, and at the same time, the elastic tongue is arranged on the tongue forming section of another arch bend, correspondingly driving the conductive clip to pre-deform outward, so as to facilitate the forward insertion and installation of the conductor. When the wire is elastically crimped in the wire clamping space, the wire is twisted and pulled in the direction opposite to the wire insertion direction to disengage from the terminal. At this time, the free end of the elastic tongue that is elastically crimped on the wire and bent in an arch shape elastically presses the wire downward, and at the same time drives the tongue to form a segment so that the conductive clamp is pre-deformed inward to clamp the wire in the wire clamping space, providing a clamping force to prevent the wire from being pulled out, further ensuring the stable connection of the wire in the wire clamping space, and meeting multiple twisting and pulling tests of the wire in the terminal. [0041] The following further describes the present invention in detail in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments:

[0042] Combined Figures 1 to 8 , this embodiment provides a novel terminal for electrically connecting at least two wires A. The terminal includes: a housing 1 provided with an installation cavity 11, a contact assembly 2 disposed in the installation cavity 11, and a support member 3 disposed in the installation cavity 11 in a detachable manner and provided with jacks 31.

[0043] In this embodiment, the contact assembly 2 includes a conductive clip 21 and a bus bar 22. The conductive clip 21 is provided with at least two wire passing channels 211 and elastic tongues 212 corresponding to the wire passing channels 211. The bus bar 22 is inserted into the wire passing channels 211 and supported within the housing 1. The conductive clip 21 is disposed in the installation cavity 11 with an opening facing the support member 3, assembled into the installation cavity 11 via the support member 3. The wire A with the insulating outer skin removed can pass through the jack 31 and be inserted into the wire passing channels 211 in a manner located between the conductive clip 21 and the bus bar 22, so that the elastic tongues 212 are crimped onto the wire A. Specifically, the conductive clip 21 is integrally bent and formed from a spring steel plate, and has a connected support section 213, a tongue forming section 214, an approximately U-shaped cavity section 215, and an extension section 216. Among them, the support section 213 abuts against the support member 3, and the support section 213 and the tongue forming section 214 are connected by a pre-deformed first elastic arch 217. The tongue forming section 214 forms the spaced elastic tongues 212 via punching. One end of the tongue forming section 214 and the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 are connected by a pre-deformed second elastic arch 218. The other end of the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 is horizontally extended with an extension section 216, and the wire passing channels 211 communicate with the interior of the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215. Both ends of the tongue forming section 214 are respectively connected to the support section 213 and the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 through pre-deformed arch structures, correspondingly forming a wire clamping space between the conductive clip 21 and the bus bar 22, and the wire A with the insulating outer skin removed can be elastically crimped within the wire clamping space.

[0044] In this embodiment, the conductive clip 21 is formed by a spring steel plate through integral bending, and both ends of the tongue forming section 214 of the conductive clip 21 are respectively connected to the support section 213 and the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 through pre-deformed elastic arched structures, so that a wire clamping space is formed between the conductive clip 21 and the bus bar 22. The wire A with the insulating outer skin stripped can be more elastically pressed into the wire clamping space, ensuring that the wire A is firmly electrically connected in the terminal assembly and enabling stable electrical connection between multiple wires A. Moreover, the interior of the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 communicating with the wire passing channel 211 has an inner cavity in an approximately U-shaped structure to correspondingly expand the accommodating space for the wire A, so that the wire A placed in the wire passing channel 211 and crimped in the contact component 2 is stably placed in the wire clamping space, facilitating the rapid insertion of the wire A and providing a more elastic and effective pressing force.

[0045] It should be mentioned that the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 can be different frame structures with an outer shape approaching a U shape, such as a frame structure similar to a U shape with a certain bending angle. In this embodiment, the frame structure enclosing the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 is a regular semi-enclosed rectangular structure, and the corners are connected by R corners, so that the two end portions forming the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 are arranged in parallel, which is beneficial for connection and correspondingly expands the wire clamping space.

[0046] In one implementation manner of the present invention, the arching portions of the first elastic arch 217 and the second elastic arch 218 face the direction close to the crimped wire A, so that the opening of the conductive clip 21 expands outwards. Among them, the first elastic arch 217 connects the support section 213 and the tongue forming section 214, and the arching portion of the first elastic arch 217 protrudes towards the inside of the conductive clip 21, correspondingly making the support section 213 and the tongue forming section 214 form an obtuse angle, ensuring that the support section 213 faces upwards and outwards to expose the opening. Correspondingly, the second elastic arch 218 makes the tongue forming section 214 and the horizontally arranged end portion of the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 form an obtuse angle, constituting an arching structure in which the tongue forming section 214 and the support section 213 of the conductive clip 21 are guided by the connection of the two elastic arch structures, correspondingly making the opening of the conductive clip 21 expand outwards to form an arch bending structure.

[0047] Specifically, the elastic tongue 212 has a connection end 2121 fixed to the spring steel plate and a free end 2122 extending close to the wire passing channel 211. And from the connection end 2121 to the free end 2122, the elastic tongue 212 is in an arch-shaped bending structure and is provided with at least two linear bending sections 2123 to be pre-deformed and folded back to crimp the wire A. Among them, the arch-shaped bending (with the bending section 2123) of the elastic tongue 212 and the arch-shaped bending formed by the support section 213 and the tongue forming section 214 are arranged facing each other (such as Figure 4 and Figure 8As shown). The elastic tongue 212 punched out of the spring steel plate can be pre-deformed, and through its connection end 2121 to the free end 2122, it is bent back to the crimped wire A through at least two linearly bent bending sections 2123. Each bending section 2123 is bent along its inflection point in the direction close to the crimped wire A, and has at least two bends and turns back to the elastic pressing wire A, which greatly improves the elastic force of the elastic tongue 212 and achieves a more stable clamping method. In addition, the arched bridge-shaped bending structure of the elastic tongue 212 is directly opposite to the arched bending structure formed by the conductive clip 21, and the arched parts of the two bending structures are arranged outwardly and facing each other, so that the elastic tongue 212 is bent in the direction of the crimped wire A, and the conductive clip 21 is bent outward.

[0048] In this embodiment, the opening of the conductive clip 21 is expanded outward by the arched portions of the first elastic arch 217 and the second elastic arch 218 being directed toward the conductor A. Correspondingly, the elastic tongue 212 is in an arch-bridge-shaped bending structure and has at least two bending sections 2123 pre-deformed and bent back to crimp the conductor A, so that the arch-bridge-shaped bend of the elastic tongue 212 is arranged opposite to the arch bend formed by the supporting end of the conductive clip 21 and the tongue forming section 214, and the conductor A elastically crimped to the free end 2122 of the elastic tongue 212 is subjected to the common elastic bending action of the two arch bends.

[0049] When the wire A with the insulation sheath stripped off is inserted into the wire passage 211 along the insertion hole 31 and is elastically crimped into the wire clamping space, the arch-shaped bend of the elastic tongue 212 causes the end of the wire A to abut against and drive the free end 2122 of the elastic tongue 212 to lift upward. At the same time, the elastic tongue 212 is arranged on another arch-shaped tongue forming section 214, which correspondingly drives the conductive clip 21 to pre-deform outward, so as to facilitate the forward insertion and installation of the wire A. When wire A is elastically crimped in the wire clamping space, wire A is twisted and pulled in the direction opposite to the insertion direction of wire A until it is out of the terminal. At this time, the free end 2122 of the elastic tongue 212 bent in an arch shape and elastically crimped on wire A elastically presses the wire downward, and at the same time drives the tongue forming section 214 to make the conductive clamp 21 pre-deform inward, so as to clamp wire A in the wire clamping space, provide a clamping force to prevent wire A from being pulled out, and further ensure the stable connection of wire A in the wire clamping space, meeting multiple twisting and pulling tests of wire A in the terminal.

[0050] In this embodiment, the end of the free end 2122 is located outside the cavity formed by the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 in the initial state. And there is a height difference between the free end 2122 and the connection end 2121. When the wire A is inserted into the wire passing channel 211, the height difference correspondingly becomes smaller. Among them, a window gap 2141 is formed on the spring steel plate located at the tongue piece forming section 214 corresponding to the elastically formed tongue piece 212 by punching, and the window gap 2141 communicates with the corresponding wire passing channel 211. The free end 2122 of the elastically formed tongue piece 212 is accommodated between the window gap 2141 and the wire passing channel 211, and the end of the free end 2122 is located outside the cavity, so that the lowest point of the end is still located at the position where the window gap 2141 is located, avoiding extending into the cavity of the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215, further ensuring the rapid insertion of the wire A with the insulation outer skin removed and being convenient and labor-saving. Moreover, the elastically formed tongue piece 212 is bent downward from the connection end 2121 to the free end 2122, so that a height difference is correspondingly formed at both ends. When the wire A is inserted into the wire passing channel 211 and crimped in the wire clamping space, the elastically formed tongue piece 212 is driven to lift. At this time, the height difference still exists, and the height difference becomes smaller under the lifting of the elastically formed tongue piece 212, correspondingly increasing the pulling force required when the wire A needs to be pulled out, thereby stabilizing the wire A in the wire clamping space.

[0051] In this embodiment, elastic protrusions 2151 are correspondingly provided inside the approximately U-shaped cavity section 215 opposite to the wire passing channel 211, and the bus bar 22 inserted into the wire passing channel 211 is supported on the elastic protrusions 2151. The elastic protrusions 2151 are formed by punching in the conductive clip 21 and are arranged on the insertion path of the wire A. Each elastic protrusion 2151 is bent upward and relatively spaced at the same position of each wire passing channel 211. When the support member 3 is assembled to the outer housing 1 to correspondingly abut and support the contact component 2 in the installation cavity 11, the bus bar 22 is placed in the conductive clip 21 and supported on each elastic protrusion 2151 to elastically abut the bus bar 22 uniformly in the direction close to the wire A, so that the wire A is in a clamping state of being elastically squeezed up and down in the wire clamping space. Among them, the elastic protrusions 2151, the wire passing channels 211 and the elastically formed tongue pieces 212 correspond to each inserted wire A one by one. The conductive clip 21 is provided with a plurality of cooperating wire passing channels 211, elastic protrusions 2151 and correspondingly arranged elastically formed tongue pieces 212, which can realize the parallel connection of the wires A inserted into the wire passing channels 211.

[0052] Please refer to Figures 9 to 11The busbar 22 is formed by bending through a conductive sheet structure. The busbar 22 has a head 221 that matches the wire passage 211 and extends outside the passage, and a bending portion 222 that is arranged on a side away from the head 221. The bending portion 222 is supported and arranged in the outer shell 1, and is assembled to the mounting cavity 11 through the support member 3, so as to abut against and drive the bending portion 222 to fix the busbar 22 horizontally in the conductive clip 21 along the direction of insertion of the wire A, so that the conductive clip 21 and the busbar 22 form a clamping space for elastically crimping the wire A.

[0053] In this embodiment, the busbar 22 is provided with a bent portion 222 away from its head, so that the head and the front and back of the busbar 22 can be effectively distinguished, which is convenient for rapid sorting by machine or manual, and avoids the problems of inconvenient installation and assembly errors when the busbar 22 is plugged into the terminal. In addition, the bent portion 222 is supported and arranged in the outer shell 1. When the support member 3 is assembled to the installation cavity 11, the support member 3 abuts against the bent portion 222 so that the busbar 22 is stably placed horizontally in the conductive clip 21, ensuring that a more stable clamping space is formed between the conductive clip 21 and the busbar 22.

[0054] In one embodiment, a plurality of heads 221 of the bus 22 are arranged at intervals, and correspond one-to-one to the wire-passing channels 211 provided in the conductive clip 21. The bus 22 is arranged in the conductive clip 21 along the insertion direction of the wire A, and the head 221 at least partially protrudes out of the conductive clip 21 through the wire-passing channel 211. When the support member 3 of the bus 22 is assembled into the mounting cavity 11, the head 221 is at least partially exposed to the outside of the conductive clip 21, and is protruded along the insertion direction of the wire A, effectively ensuring the contact of the wire A in the wire clamping space. Among them, the bending portion 222 corresponds one-to-one to the head 221, and the head 221 and the bending portion 222 are respectively arranged on both sides of the bus 22, and the head 221 and the bending portion 222 located on the front and rear sides make human-machine sorting more efficient and convenient. Each conductor A channel extends with a head 221 , and each head 221 corresponds to a bending portion 222 , ensuring the wire clamping contact of the contact assembly 2 . Meanwhile, the support of the multiple bending portions 222 allows the busbar 22 to be firmly placed in the conductive clip 21 .

[0055] In this embodiment, the bending portion 222 is vertically bent relative to the busbar 22, so that the cross section of the busbar 22 where the bending portion 222 is located is L-shaped, and the head 221 and the bending portion 222 are respectively at the two ends of the L. The busbar 22 is horizontally placed in the conductive clip 21, so that the bending portion 222 is vertically supported and placed in the outer shell 1, and clamped between the support member 3 and the conductive clip 21. Among them, the support member 3 has a matching surface 32 that abuts against the bending portion 222, and is assembled to the installation cavity 11 through the support member 3, so that one side of the bending portion 222 supported in the outer shell 1 and the matching surface 32 abut against each other in a surface contact manner, and the other side of the bending portion 222 abuts against the lower end of the conductive clip 21. The bending portion 222 is supported in the outer shell 1, and is relatively stable under the clamping of the matching surface 32 and the extension section 216 of the conductive clip 21. The busbar 22 is embedded between the support member 3 and the conductive clip 21 through the bent portion 222 , so that the assembly of the busbar 22 is more stable, and the busbar 22 is prevented from being misaligned in the conductive clip 21 due to the support portion alone.

[0056] It should be mentioned that the end surface of the conductive clip 21 facing the busbar 22 is provided with an elastic protrusion 2151, so that the busbar 22 inserted into the wire passage 211 is supported on the elastic protrusion 2151. The elastic protrusion 2151 is provided on the insertion path of the wire A, and is relatively spaced at the same position of each wire passage 211, and the elastic protrusion 2151, the wire passage 211 and the elastic tongue 212 correspond to each inserted wire A one by one. The elastic protrusion 2151 is arranged to protrude upward near the head 221, thereby providing a uniform elastic abutment force on the busbar 22 in the direction close to the wire A.

[0057] See also Figures 11 to 14 The support member 3 is detachably arranged in the installation cavity 11 through the quick-release structure 4. The quick-release structure 4 includes a protrusion 41 and a slot 42 adapted to the protrusion 41. One of the outer shell 1 and the support member 3 is provided with a protrusion 41, and the other one is provided with a slot 42. The support member 3 is assembled into the installation cavity 11, and the protrusion 41 is clamped in the slot 42. The protrusion 41 is provided with an inclined guide surface 411 along the assembly direction, and the support member 3 is quickly disassembled and assembled via the inclined guide surface 411.

[0058] In this embodiment, the quick-release structure 4 enables the housing 1 and the support member 3 to be quickly disassembled and assembled, so as to achieve efficient assembly of the terminal block, and facilitate disassembly and maintenance during daily use. The quick-release structure 4 ensures the disassembly and assembly of the support member 3 in the housing 1 through mutually adapted protrusions 41 and slots 42, which are respectively arranged on any one of the housing 1 and the support member 3, so that the contact assembly 2 is arranged in the installation cavity 11 of the housing 1, and the opening of the installation cavity 11 is roughly closed by the support member 3, and only the jack 31 is provided for the wire A to be inserted into the terminal and connected with the contact assembly 2. In addition, the protrusion 41 is provided with an inclined guide surface 411 along the assembly direction, and the inclined guide surface 411 is relatively inclined, so that the protrusion 41 is in a wedge shape, and the guidance of the inclined guide surface 411 during the assembly process facilitates the rapid assembly and disassembly of the support member 3 in the housing 1.

[0059] In one embodiment, the protrusion 41 is arranged on the support member 3 and is respectively located at the upper and lower end surfaces of the support member 3, and the card slot 42 is correspondingly arranged on the inner wall of the mounting cavity 11 of the outer shell 1. Specifically, the inclined guide surface 411 is arranged at the end surface of the support member 3, and the inclined guide surface 411 is inclined along the insertion direction of the wire A. The protrusion 41 located at the upper end surface has an inclined guide surface 411 inclined downward. The protrusion 41 located at the lower end surface has an inclined guide surface 411 inclined upward. Both inclined guide surfaces 411 are inclined along the insertion direction of the wire A, so that the protrusion 41 can be quickly engaged into the card slot 42 along the inclined surface. It should be noted that the outer shell 1 is made of plastic material, and nylon PA66 material can be selected, which has strong flame retardancy, insulation and impact resistance. The outer shell 1 with the installation cavity 11 is in the shape of a shell with a hollow interior, and the slot 42 is provided on the outer side of the inner wall, so that the protrusion 41 engaged in the slot 42 can be slightly deformed under the squeezing when the user squeezes the outer shell 1 close to the inner wall through external force, so that the slot 42 is displaced relative to the protrusion 41. At this time, the protrusion 41 and the slot 42 are separated from each other when the user pulls the support member 3 in the opposite direction of assembly, thereby realizing the rapid disassembly of the support member 3.

[0060] In this embodiment, a plurality of ribs 12 are arranged on the inner wall of the mounting cavity 11 facing the contact assembly 2. The ribs 12 are protrudingly arranged along the mounting cavity 11 and are gap-matched with the contact assembly 2. The ribs 12 are gap-matched with the conductive clip 21 of the contact assembly 2 and the elastic tongue 212 bent in an arch bridge shape and arranged on the conductive clip 21, respectively, and the spacing between the elastic tongue 212 and the corresponding ribs 12 is relatively large. The end surface of the conductive clip 21 where the elastic tongue 212 is located faces the ribs 12 located in the mounting cavity 11 and is arranged at intervals, wherein the gap between the elastic tongue 212 and the facing ribs 12 is larger than the gap between the end surface of the other conductive clips 21 and the facing ribs 12. When the wire A is inserted into the wire-passing channel 211 along the jack 31 and is elastically crimped in the wire clamping space, the free end 2122 of the elastic tongue 212 is lifted upward, thereby reducing the spacing between the elastic tongue 212 and the corresponding ribs 12. At this time, the distance between the raised elastic tongue 212 and the rib 12 is equal to the distance between the other end faces of the conductive clip 21 and the rib 12. The rib 12 in the mounting cavity 11 protects the conductive clip 21 and prevents the conductive clip 21 from being deformed too much under the abutment support of the support member 3.

[0061] It should be mentioned that a side surface of the support member 3 that is supported against the conductive clip 21 is provided with an abutting surface 33. The abutting surface 33 is directly opposite to the opening of the conductive clip 21 to open the conductive clip 21 so that the conductive clip 21 is spaced apart from the rib 12. Among them, the abutting surface 33 (front end surface) of the support member 3 that is supported against the conductive clip 21 is provided with a partition 34 corresponding to the end of the elastic tongue 212, and the partition 34 is located between the elastic tongue 212 and the plug hole 31. In this embodiment, the wire A is inserted into the wire passage 211 in a manner of being crimped and clamped between the conductive clip 21 and the bus 22. In this process, since the partition 34 corresponds to the connection end 2121 of the elastic tongue and is located between the elastic tongue 212 and the plug hole 31, the partition 34 can protect the end of the elastic tongue and prevent the problem of deformation or loss of elasticity of the protective elastic tongue in frequent cooperation with the wire A. And the partition 34 can be a sheet-shaped body formed at the front end of the support member 3.
