Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of deoxy sugar preparation, and in particular to a method and application of preparing deoxy sugar based on photochemical reaction. Background Art

[0002] In the field of biochemistry and medicine, deoxysugars are a class of sugar molecules with important biological activity. Their structural characteristics are that one or more hydroxyl groups (-OH) in the sugar molecule are replaced by hydrogen atoms. This type of compound is widely present in a variety of antibiotics, anti-tumor drugs and immunomodulators, and has significant effects on the treatment of various diseases. For example, 2-deoxysugar is an important component of DNA, and other deoxysugars such as fucose also play a key role in many biologically active molecules.

[0003] Traditional methods for synthesizing deoxy sugars mainly include: (1) direct etherification method: deoxy sugars are synthesized by directly reacting sugar derivatives with alcohols or phenols. This method is simple, but there may be stereoselectivity problems and more side reactions; (2) direct glycosidation method: deoxy glycosidic bonds are directly formed through glycosidation reactions. This method can directly obtain the target molecule, but the reaction conditions may be harsh and the applicability to substrates is limited; (3) temporary protecting group method: temporary functional groups are introduced at specific positions of sugars to guide glycosidation reactions, and then the protecting groups are removed. This method can improve stereoselectivity, but it increases the synthesis steps and reduces atom economy; (4) non-sugar material synthesis method: deoxy sugars are synthesized from non-sugar precursors. This method has a wide range of raw materials, but the synthesis steps may be more, and the yield and selectivity may not be ideal. Although the above methods have made some progress in the synthesis of deoxy sugars, there are still some challenges and limitations, such as optimization of reaction conditions, control of side reactions, improvement of stereoselectivity, improvement of yield, and reduction of synthesis costs.
