Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a display housing, a related display device and a related outer frame, and in particular to a display housing, a related display device and a related outer frame with high material recovery rate, light weight and low packaging cost. Background Art
[0002] With the rise of environmental awareness, various resource usage, waste recycling and treatment have received much attention. Take monitors as an example. Since some of the mechanical components (such as iron back plates, protective covers) and optical components in the monitors cannot be recycled (material recycling rate is 0%), and the material recycling rate of the electronic components in the monitors is only about 10%, the overall material recycling rate of the monitors is low. In addition, the heavier the monitor, the more packaging solids it requires, and the higher the carbon emissions caused by packaging and transportation. Therefore, how to improve the overall material recycling rate of the monitor and reduce the weight of the monitor to achieve carbon reduction / carbon neutrality requirements has become a topic of concern in the industry.

[0084] See also Figures 3 to 6 , Figure 5 FIG. 1 is an enlarged cross-sectional diagram of a part of the structure of the display device 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Figure 6 FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of another part of the structure of the display device 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Figures 3 to 6As shown, in this embodiment, the panel module 11 may include a panel structure 111 and a circuit board 112. The panel structure 111 may be a sandwich panel structure composed of two glass substrates and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the two glass substrates. The circuit board may be a driving circuit board used to control the panel structure 111 to display different image images. The backlight module 12 includes a light source 121 and an optical film layer 122. The light source 121 may be a light bar composed of a plurality of light-emitting elements (such as light-emitting diodes). The optical film layer 122 may be a composite optical film composed of a diffusion film, a prism film, a polarized brightness enhancement film, and a light guide plate. However, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment.
[0085] Furthermore, if Figures 3 to 6 As shown, the display housing 13 includes an outer frame 131, a side shell component 132 and a rear shell component 133. The outer frame 131 includes a first assembly 1311 and a second assembly 1312, and the second assembly 1312 is detachably combined with the first assembly 1311; the side shell component 132 includes a first side shell portion 1321, a second side shell portion 1322 and a third side shell portion 1323. The first side shell portion 1321 is located at a first side (e.g., the front side) of the outer frame 131, the second side shell portion 1322 is located at a second side (e.g., the rear side) of the outer frame 131 relative to the first side and is detachably combined with the second assembly 1312 of the outer frame 131, the third side shell portion 1323 is connected to the first side shell portion 1321 and the second side shell portion 1322, and the rear shell component 133 is detachably combined with the second assembly 1312 of the outer frame 131 and the side shell component 132. However, the structure of the present invention is not limited to this embodiment. For example, in another embodiment, the second side shell portion and the rear shell component can be detachably combined with the first assembly of the outer frame. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the second side shell portion and the rear shell component can be detachably combined with one of the first assembly and the second assembly of the outer frame and the other.
[0086] Specifically, see Figures 3 to 8 , Figure 7 This is a partial enlarged schematic diagram of the structure of the outer frame 131 of the first embodiment of the present invention. Figure 8 FIG. 1 is an enlarged schematic diagram of another part of the structure of the outer frame 131 of the first embodiment of the present invention. Figures 3 to 8As shown, the first assembly 1311 includes an opening structure O, and the second assembly 1312 is detachably combined with the opening structure O. The opening structure O is formed by a first side portion W0, a second side portion W2, a third side portion W3 and a fourth side portion W4 of the first assembly 1311. The first side portion W0 and the second side portion W2 are arranged opposite to each other, the third side portion W3 and the fourth side portion W4 are arranged opposite to each other and connect the first side portion W0 and the second side portion W2. The first side portion W0, the second side portion W2, the third side portion W3 and the fourth side portion W4 jointly form a square frame structure. The first side portion W0, the second side portion W2, the third side portion W3 and the fourth side portion W4 can respectively abut against a first outer periphery P1, a second outer periphery P2, a third outer periphery P3 and a fourth outer periphery P4 of the second assembly 1312 to limit the translation of the second assembly 1312 relative to the first assembly 1311 along the upper, lower, left and right planar directions.
[0087] See also Figures 5 to 9 , Fig. 9 FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the combination of the first assembly 1311 and the second assembly 1312 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Figures 5 to 9As shown, in this embodiment, in order to make the second assembly 1312 easily combined with the first assembly 1311, the first side portion W0 includes a vertical retaining wall W1, the vertical retaining wall W1 is formed with a plurality of first engaging portions E1, the second side portion W2 is formed with a plurality of second engaging portions E2, the first outer periphery P1 of the second assembly 1312 is formed with a plurality of third engaging portions E3 for engaging with the plurality of first engaging portions E1, the second outer periphery P2 of the second assembly 1312 is formed with a plurality of fourth engaging portions E4 for engaging with the plurality of second engaging portions E2, the plurality of third engaging portions E3 and the plurality of third engaging portions E4 are connected to each other. The four engaging portions E4 are respectively engaged with the plurality of first engaging portions E1 and the plurality of second engaging portions E2 by the rotation of the second assembly 1312 relative to the first assembly 1311 along a first rotation direction R1. That is to say, in this embodiment, the user only needs to obliquely insert the second assembly 1312 into the opening structure O and pivot it relative to the first assembly 1311 along the first rotation direction R1 until the third engaging portion E3 and the fourth engaging portion E4 are respectively engaged with the first engaging portion E1 and the second engaging portion E2, thereby completing the combination of the second assembly 1312 and the first assembly 1311. Specifically, the first engaging portion E1 may be an engaging ear having a guide surface and a stop surface, and the third engaging portion E3 may be an engaging recess for cooperating with the guide surface and the stop surface of the first engaging portion E1. The guide surface of the first engaging portion E1 may guide the third engaging portion E3 to pass over the first engaging portion E1 along the first rotation direction R1, and the stop surface of the first engaging portion E1 may stop the third engaging portion E3 to prevent the third engaging portion E3 from rotating away from the first engaging portion E1 along a second rotation direction R2 opposite to the first rotation direction R1. The fourth engaging portion E4 may be an engaging protrusion having a guide surface and a stop surface, and the second engaging portion E2 may be an engaging notch for cooperating with the guide surface and the stop surface of the fourth engaging portion E4. The guide surface of the fourth engaging portion E4 may guide the second engaging portion E2 to pass over the second engaging portion E2 along the first rotation direction R1, and the stop surface of the fourth engaging portion E4 may stop the second engaging portion E2 to prevent the fourth engaging portion E4 from rotating along the second rotation direction R2 and disengaging from the second engaging portion E2.
[0088] However, the number and structure of the first engaging portion, the second engaging portion, the third engaging portion and the fourth engaging portion of the present invention are not limited to this embodiment, and may be determined according to design requirements. For example, in another embodiment, the vertical retaining wall may be formed with only one first engaging portion, the second side portion may be formed with only one second engaging portion, and the second assembly may be formed with only one third engaging portion and one fourth engaging portion, wherein the second engaging portion and the third engaging portion may be engaging protrusions or engaging ears having a guide surface and a stop surface, and the first engaging portion and the fourth engaging portion may be engaging notches or engaging recesses respectively cooperating with the second engaging portion and the third engaging portion.
[0089] It is understandable that in another embodiment, the first assembly and the second assembly may also be combined with each other by means of screw locking, hot melt bonding, double-sided tape bonding, or dovetail joints.
[0090] Furthermore, in this embodiment, if Figures 5 to 9 As shown, in order to prevent the second assembly 1312 from excessively rotating relative to the first assembly 1311 along the first rotation direction R1, the vertical blocking wall W1 is formed with a first extension portion T1, the third side portion W3 is formed with a second extension portion T2, the fourth side portion W4 is formed with a third extension portion T3, and the second side portion W2 is formed with a limiting portion RS. The first extension portion T1, the second extension portion T2, the third extension portion T3 and the limiting portion RS are used to abut against the second assembly 1312 when the second assembly 1312 rotates relative to the first assembly 1311 along the first rotation direction R1, so as to limit the rotation angle of the second assembly 1312 relative to the first assembly 1311 along the first rotation direction R1. Specifically, the first extension portion T1, the second extension portion T2, and the third extension portion T3 may be extension stoppers for stopping the first outer periphery P1, the third outer periphery P3, and the fourth outer periphery P4 of the second assembly 1312, respectively, and the stop portion RS may be a stop recess for partially accommodating and stopping the second outer periphery P2 of the second assembly 1312. However, the structure of the present invention is not limited to this embodiment, for example, in another embodiment, at least one of the first extension portion, the second extension portion, and the stop portion may be omitted according to design requirements.
[0091] See also Figure 5 , Figure 6 , Figure 8 and Fig.10 , Fig.10 FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the combination of the outer frame 131 and the backlight module 12 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Figure 5 , Figure 6 , Figure 8 and Fig.10As shown, when the user wants to use the display housing 13 to position the backlight module 12 and the panel module 11, the light source 121 of the backlight module 12 can be first positioned on the second assembly 1312 by, for example, gluing, and the second assembly 1312 can be combined with the first assembly 1311, wherein when the second assembly 1312 is combined with the first assembly 1311, an insertion space IS is formed between the second assembly 1312 and the first assembly 1311 to partially accommodate the optical film layer 122 of the backlight module 12. Specifically, the light source 121 is positioned at the second outer periphery P2 of the second assembly 1312, that is, the light source 121 is designed in a side-lighting manner, and the insertion space IS is located near the second outer periphery P2 of the second assembly 1312 and the second side W2 of the first assembly 1311. After the second assembly 1312 is combined with the first assembly 1311, the user can insert one side (e.g., the lower side) of the optical film layer 122 into the insertion space IS, and then position the other parts of the optical film layer 122 on the first assembly 1311 and / or the second assembly 1312 by, for example, bonding, to complete the positioning of the optical film layer 122. Next, the user can position the panel structure 111 of the panel module 11 on the front side of the first assembly 1311 by, for example, bonding, and move the circuit board 112 of the panel module 11 to the rear side of the second assembly 1312. After the circuit board 112 of the panel module 11 is moved to the rear side of the second assembly 1312, the user can move the side case 132 so that the first side case portion 1321 and the second side case portion 1322 are located at the front side of the panel structure 111 and the rear side of the circuit board 112, respectively, and the second side case portion 1322 is coupled to the second assembly 1312 by, for example, screwing, so that the circuit board 112 is positioned in a setting space DS between the second side case portion 1322 of the side case 132 and the second assembly 1312. After the second side case portion 1322 is coupled to the second assembly 1312, the user can couple the rear case 133 to the second assembly 1312 and the second side case portion 1322 of the side case 132 by, for example, screwing, and couple it to the first assembly 1311 and the third side case portion 1323 of the side case 132 by, for example, concave-convex fitting, to complete the assembly of the display device 1.
[0092] It is worth noting that in this embodiment, the outer frame 131 may be a plate-like structure. In order to take into account both lightweight and structural strength, the plane area of the first assembly 1311 may account for 30-45% of the plane area of the outer frame 131, and the plane area of the second assembly 1312 may account for 55-70% of the plane area of the outer frame 131. However, the proportion of the plane area of the first assembly and the second assembly of the present invention to the plane area of the outer frame is not limited to this embodiment, and it can be increased or decreased according to actual needs. For example, in another embodiment, when the structural strength of the outer frame is to be improved, the designer may increase the proportion of the plane area of the second assembly to the plane area of the outer frame and reduce the proportion of the plane area of the first assembly to the plane area of the outer frame. When the outer frame does not need too high structural strength, the designer may increase the proportion of the plane area of the first assembly to the plane area of the outer frame and reduce the proportion of the plane area of the second assembly to the plane area of the outer frame.
[0093] Understandably, in another embodiment, the second side of the first assembly is detachable to allow the optical film layer to be installed in a straight-up and straight-down manner, that is, after the optical film layer is installed, the user combines the second side of the first assembly with the third and fourth sides of the first assembly and the second assembly, so that one side of the optical film layer is located in the insertion space. In addition, in another embodiment, the light source is designed to be straight down, for example, the light source is arranged on a side of the second assembly facing the optical film layer.
[0094] Furthermore, if Figure 3 , Figure 4 and Fig. 9 As shown, the display housing 13 also includes two first structural reinforcements 134 and a plurality of second structural reinforcements 135, which are arranged on the first assembly 1311 to enhance the structural strength of the first assembly 1311. Specifically, the first structural reinforcement 134 can be a metal sheet detachably arranged on the first assembly 1311 and having an H-shaped bending structure, and the second structural reinforcement 135 can be an X-shaped rib integrally formed and connected with the first assembly 1311, but the present invention is not limited thereto. It is understandable that in another embodiment, the display housing may include only one first structural reinforcement and / or one second structural reinforcement. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the display housing may not include any structural reinforcement.
[0095] In addition, to improve the overall material recycling rate of the display housing 13, the first assembly 1311 can be made of recyclable plastic materials, and the second assembly 1312 can be made of recyclable metal materials. In this way, the overall material recycling rate of the display housing 13 can exceed 75%.
