Technical area
[0001] The present specification discloses a positioning structure, a component mounting machine and a method for manufacturing a board. State of the art
[0002] Conventionally, a positioning structure is known in which a positioning pin formed in a first member is fitted into a positioning hole formed in a second member to position the first member with respect to the second member. For example, Patent Literature 1 discloses a tape feeder positioning structure in which a positioning pin provided on an end surface of a tape feeder is fitted into a positioning hole provided in an electronic component supply section to position the tape feeder with respect to the electronic component supply section. Patent literature
[0003] Patent Literature 1: JP-A-2010-92962 Summary of the inventionTechnical problem
[0004] However, if the tape feeder is repeatedly attached to and detached from the electronic component feeder section by using the tape feeder for a medium or long period of time, the positioning pin will be worn due to friction with a peripheral wall of the positioning hole. If the tape feeder is positioned by inserting the positioning pin into the positioning hole in a state where the positioning pin is worn, the positioning accuracy may decrease.
[0005] A primary objective of the present disclosure is to maintain the positioning accuracy of an object over a medium or long period of time. Solution to the problem
[0006] A positioning structure of the present disclosure is a positioning structure for relatively positioning a first member having a positioning pin and a second member having a positioning hole into which the positioning pin is fitted, in which the positioning pin has a root portion and a tip portion provided separately from the root portion, the positioning pin is inserted into the positioning hole from the tip portion to position the first element relative to the second element, and the first element is positioned relatively with respect to the second element according to the insertion into the positioning hole from the tip portion.
[0007] In this positioning structure, the positioning pin has a root portion and a tip portion provided separately from the root portion. Therefore, the tip portion is replaceable. Accordingly, the positioning accuracy can be maintained by replacing the tip portion, even if the positioning pin wears over medium or long periods of use.
[0008] A component mounting machine of the present disclosure is a component mounting machine for collecting a supplied component by a collecting member and mounting the component on a board, the component mounting machine including: a tape feeder having a positioning pin in which a root portion and a tip portion are separately provided; and a feeder installation table having a positioning hole into which the positioning pin is fitted, wherein the positioning pin is inserted into the positioning hole from the tip portion, thereby positioning the tape feeder relative to the feeder installation table.
[0009] This component assembly machine has the same effects as the positioning structure described above.
[0010] A method of manufacturing a plate according to the present invention includes: Inserting a positioning pin in which a root portion and a tip portion provided in a tape feeder are separated from each other into a positioning hole provided in a feeder installation table to position the tape feeder in the feeder installation table; Feeding a component from the positioned tape feeder to a component assembling machine main body; and Collecting the fed component by the component mounting machine main body and mounting the component on the plate.
[0011] This positioning method has the same effect as the positioning structure described above. Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the feeder installation table 40. Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view of the upright wall portion 42 along the YZ plane. In Fig. 3, the upright wall section 42 is marked by a dashed line for the sake of simplicity. Here, a Fig. 1 to 3 and 8 shown left-right direction an X-axis direction (direction perpendicular to the paper surface in the Fig. 4 to 6 and 9), one in the Fig. The front-back direction shown in Figures 1 to 9 is a Y-axis direction and a Fig. The up-down direction shown in 1 to 9 is a Z-axis direction.
[0013] The component mounting system 1 produces a plate S on which a component is mounted and as in Fig. 1, the component mounting system 1 includes a plurality of component mounting machines 10 arranged along a transport direction of the board S, a loader 60, and a management device that manages the entire component mounting system 1.
[0014] The component assembly machine 10 includes a tape feeder 20 and a component assembly machine main body in which the feeder installation table 40 is provided in a front portion. The component assembly machine main body includes a head capable of holding a plurality of collecting elements, a head moving device that moves the head horizontally, a lifting and lowering device that moves the collecting elements vertically with respect to the head, a transporting device that transports a board, a control device that controls the entire component assembly machine 10, and the like. The component assembly machine 10 collects the component fed from the tape feeder 20 through the collecting device and mounts the component onto the board S.
[0015] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the tape feeder 20 includes a tape reel 22, a tape feed mechanism 23, a first positioning pin 24, a second positioning pin 26, a connector 25, a clamping member 27, and a rail member 28. Furthermore, the tape feeder 20 includes a control device that controls the entire tape feeder 20. The tape reel 22 and the tape feed mechanism 23 are housed in a housing 21.
[0016] A tape is wound on the tape reel 22. The tape has a plurality of recessed portions arranged at a certain interval along a longitudinal direction. Each recessed portion accommodates a component. The components are protected by a film covering a surface of the tape. The tape feed mechanism 23 feeds the tape from the tape reel 22. The tape feeder 20 drives the tape feed mechanism 23 to feed the tape backward by a predetermined amount, thereby subsequently feeding the components housed in the tape to a component feed position. The film of the component housed in the tape is peeled off in front of the component feed position to be exposed at the component feed position, and the component is collected by the collecting member of the component feed position 10.
[0017] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the first positioning pin 24 is provided so as to protrude rearward from the rear surface of the housing 21. As shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the first positioning pin 24 has a root portion 30 and a tip portion 31. The first positioning pin 24 has a separate structure in which the root portion 30 and the tip portion 31 are provided separately.
[0018] The root portion 30 is a metal member and includes a base portion 30a, a protruding portion 30b and a fixing portion 30c, as shown in Fig. 5. The base portion 30a is a substantially columnar portion. The protruding portion 30b is provided to protrude from the rear side of the base portion 30a. The protruding portion 30b is a columnar portion having a smaller diameter than the base portion 30a. A circumferential groove 30d is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the protruding portion 30b circumferentially along a circumferential direction. The fixing portion 30c is a portion that is fixed to the housing 21.
[0019] The tip portion 31 is formed of resin and is, as shown in Fig. 6, a cap-like member includes a base portion 31a and a recessed portion 31b that is fitted into the projecting portion 30b of the root portion 30. The outer peripheral surface of the tip portion 31 is formed in a tapered shape whose diameter decreases toward the tip (rear side). The tip portion 31 is provided with a columnar recessed portion 31b that is fitted into the projecting portion 30b of the root portion 30. A convex stripe 31c is formed on an inner peripheral wall of the recessed portion 31b circumferentially along the circumferential direction. Since the tip portion 31 is formed of plastic, the tip portion 31 can be easily replaced with a new one even if the tip portion 31 is worn due to abrasion or the like.
[0020] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 7, in the first positioning pin 24, the recessed portion 31b of the tip portion 31 is fitted into the projecting portion 30b of the root portion 30. When the recessed portion 31b of the tip portion 31 is fitted into the projecting portion 30b of the root portion 30, the convex strip 31c formed on the inner peripheral wall of the recessed portion 31b is fitted into the circumferential groove 30d formed on the outer peripheral wall of the projecting portion 30b. The diameter L1 of the base portion 30a of the root portion 30 is equal to the diameter L2 of the base portion 31a of the tip portion 31. Therefore, when the protruding portion 30b is fitted into the recessed portion 31b, the base portion 30a of the root portion 30 and the base portion 31a of the tip portion 31 are substantially flush with each other.
[0021] The second positioning pin 26 is a metal element, and as shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the second positioning pin 26 is attached to the rear of the housing 21 above the first positioning pin 24. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the second positioning pin 26 is longer than the first positioning pin 24. The second positioning pin 26 has an integral structure in which the root and tip are formed integrally. The outer peripheral surface of the second positioning pin 26 has an outer diameter similar to that of the first positioning pin and has a tapered shape whose diameter decreases toward the tip.
[0022] As in the Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the connector 25 is provided between the first positioning pin 24 and the second positioning pin 26. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the clamping member 27 is resiliently mounted to protrude from the bottom of the housing 21. The rail member 28 extends behind the clamping member 27 and has an inverted T-shaped cross-section.
[0023] The tape feeder 20 is detachably attached to the feeder installation table 40 provided at the front of the component assembly machine 10. As shown in Fig. 8, the feeder installation table 40 includes a support section 41 that supports the tape feeder 20 and an upright wall section 42 that rises vertically from the support section 41.
[0024] The support section 41 has a slot 48 into which the tape feeder 20 is inserted. A plurality of slots 48 are formed in the support section 41 so as to extend in the front-to-back direction and are arranged in the left-to-right direction. The slot 48 is a groove with a T-shaped cross section. The rail member 28 with an inverted T-shaped cross section, provided on the underside of the tape feeder 20, is inserted into the slot 48. A clamping groove 47 is provided in the center of the slot 48. When the rail member 28 with the inverted T-shaped cross section of the tape feeder 20 is inserted from the front to the back of the slot 48, the clamping member 27 provided on the underside of the tape feeder 20 is fitted into the clamping groove 47. Thus, the tape feeder 20 is supported by the slot 48 in a vertically arranged state. The clamping member 27 and the clamping groove 47 position the tape feeder 20 in the front-to-back direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40.
[0025] As in the Fig. 8 and Fig. 9, the upright wall portion 42 includes a first positioning hole 44, a second positioning hole 46, and a connector 45.
[0026] As in the Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the first positioning hole 44 is formed in the front surface of the upright wall portion 42. The first positioning hole 44 is a hole into which the first positioning pin 24 of the tape feeder 20 is inserted. The first positioning hole 44 is a round hole. The peripheral edge of the first positioning hole 44 is chamfered, as shown in Figure 9. Fig. 9. By inserting the first positioning pin 24 into the positioning hole 44, the tape feeder 20 is positioned in the up-down direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40.
[0027] As in the Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the second positioning hole 46 is formed above the first positioning hole 44 in the front surface of the upright wall portion 42. The second positioning hole 46 is a hole into which the second positioning pin 26 of the tape feeder 20 is inserted. The second positioning hole 46 is an elongated hole extending toward the first positioning hole 44 and the second positioning hole 46 in the up-down direction. The diameter of the second positioning hole 46 in the left-right direction is set to be slightly larger than the diameter of the second positioning pin 26 in the left-right direction. The diameter of the second positioning hole 46 in the up-down direction is set to be larger than the diameter of the second positioning hole 46 in the left-right direction. The peripheral edge of the second positioning hole 46 is chamfered, as shown in Figure 9. Fig. 9. By inserting the second positioning pin 26 into the second positioning hole 46, the tape feeder 20 is positioned in the left-right direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40. Since the second positioning hole 46 is an elongated hole extending in the up-down direction and having a chamfered peripheral edge, the second positioning pin 26 can be correctly inserted even if a slight displacement occurs during insertion of the second positioning pin 26.
[0028] In the present embodiment, a structure in which the tape feeder 20 is positioned in the front-backward direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40 by the clamp member 27 and the clamp groove 47, the tape feeder 20 is positioned in the left-right direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40 by the first positioning pin 24 and the first positioning hole 44, and the tape feeder 20 is positioned in the up-down direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40 by the second positioning pin 26 and the second positioning hole 46 is referred to as a positioning structure 50.
[0029] Between the first positioning hole 44 and the second positioning hole 46, a connector 45 is provided for each slot 48. In a state where the rail member 28 of the tape feeder 20 is inserted into the slot 48 and the clamp member 27 is fitted into the clamp groove 47, when the first positioning pin 24 of the tape feeder 20 is fitted into the first positioning hole 44, the second positioning pin 26 of the tape feeder 20 is fitted into the second positioning hole 46. Then, the connector 25 of the tape feeder 20 is connected to the connector 45 of the feeder installation table 40. Thus, the tape feeder 20 and the feeder installation table 40 are electrically connected.
[0030] As in Fig. 1, the loader 60 is a device that moves the front of the component mounting machine 10 along the guide rail 15 to supply the tape feeder 20 to be used to each component mounting machine 10 or to collect used tape feeders 20 from each component mounting machine 10. The loader 60 includes a loader moving device 60 that moves the loader 60 along the guide rail 15 arranged in front of the component mounting machine 10, a feeder transfer device that transfers the tape feeder 20 to and from the component mounting machine 10, a loader control device that outputs a drive signal to the loader moving device and the feeder transfer device, and the like. The loader control device is connected to the control device of the component mounting machine 10 via a network (not shown) and exchanges signals.
[0031] The operation of the component assembly system 1 configured in this manner will be described below. First, a component assembly process executed by the component assembly machine 10 will be described. This process is executed by the control device of the component assembly machine 10 after a component assembly start command is input by an operator to the control device of the component assembly machine 10.
[0032] First, the control device of the component mounting machine 10 controls the transport device to transport the board to a predetermined position of the transport device. Then, the control device of the component mounting machine 10 outputs a component feed command to the control device of the tape feeder 20. When the component feed command is input, the control device of the tape feeder 20 controls the tape feed mechanism 23 to feed the component to the component feed position. Next, the control device of the component mounting machine 10 operates and controls the head, the head moving device, and the lifting and lowering device of the component mounting machine 10 so that the component fed from the tape feeder 20 is collected by the collecting member and mounted on the board S.Then, the control device of the component mounting machine 10 controls the transport device so that the board is transported to the downstream side after all the components to be mounted in the own device are mounted on the board S. The control device of the component mounting machine 10 ends the component mounting process after the own device produces a scheduled number of boards.
[0033] Next, a feeder replacement process for replacing the tape feeder 20 installed on the feeder installation table 40, with the tape feeder 20 held by the loader 60, will be described. This process is executed by the loader control device of the loader 60 after a feeder replacement request is input from the control device of the component mounting machine 10 or the management device of the component mounting system 1. The feeder replacement request is output from the control device of the component mounting machine 10 to the loader control device via the management device of the component mounting system 1 in a case where the number of remaining components accommodated in the tape feeder 20 installed in the feeder installation table 40 of the component mounting machine 10 becomes small and a component shortage is predicted. In addition, when the type of board produced by the component mounting machine 10 is changed, the feeder replacement request is issued from the management device of the component mounting system 1 to the loader control device. When the feeder replacement request is input, the loader 60 holds the tape feeder 20 (the tape feeder that houses the component to be used), which is a replacement target.
[0034] When this process is started, the loader control device 60 first operates and controls the loader moving device so that the loader 60 moves to the front of the component assembly machine 10 that has issued a feeder replacement request. Then, the loader control device controls the feeder transfer device so that the used feeder 20 is retrieved from the component assembly machine 10. Next, the loader control device 60 operates and controls the feeder transfer device so that the tape feeder 20, which is the replacement target, is fed and installed on the feeder installation table 40.
[0035] How the tape feeder 20 is positioned in relation to the feeder installation table 40 will now be explained with reference to the Fig. 10A to 10C. The Fig. 10A to 10C are views showing a state in which the tape feeder 20 is positioned with respect to the feeder installation table 40 by the positioning structure 50.
[0036] First, when the rail member 28 of the tape feeder 20 begins to be inserted into the slot 48 of the feeder installation table 40, the position of the first positioning pin 24 in the up-down direction and the position of the second positioning pin 26 in the up-down direction become the following positions. That is, the position of the first positioning pin 24 in the up-down direction is slightly lower than the first positioning hole 44, and the position of the second positioning pin 26 in the up-down direction is included in the second positioning hole 46 in the up-down direction. The reason why the second positioning pin 26 is included in the second positioning hole 46 in the up-down direction is that the second positioning hole 46 is an elongated hole extending in the up-down direction.
[0037] When the tape feeder 20 is pushed backwards as shown in Fig. As shown in Fig. 10B, the second positioning pin 26 is fitted into the second positioning hole 46 before the first positioning pin 24 is fitted into the first positioning hole 44. This is because the second positioning pin 26 is longer than the first positioning pin 24. This positions the tape feeder 20 in the left-right direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40.
[0038] When the tape feeder 20 is out of the Fig. 10B, the outer peripheral surface of the tapered tip portion 31 of the first positioning pin 24 slides on the portion with the chamfered peripheral edge of the peripheral wall of the first positioning hole 44. Then, as shown in Fig.10C, the base portion 30a of the root portion 30 and the base portion 31a of the tip portion 31 of the first positioning pin 24 are fitted into the first positioning hole 44. At this time, the tape feeder 20 is slightly lifted upward together with the first positioning pin 24. This positions the tape feeder 20 in the up-down direction with respect to the feeder installation table 40.
[0039] When the tape feeder 20 is pushed further backward and the clamping member 27 is fitted into the clamping groove 47, the tape feeder 20 is positioned with respect to the feeder installation table 40.
[0040] After confirming that the tape feeder 20 to be used is installed on the feeder installation table 40, the loader control device ends the feeder replacement process.
[0041] Here, a correspondence relationship between the main elements of the present embodiment and the main elements disclosed in the headings of the claims will be described. That is, the tape feeder 20 of the present embodiment corresponds to a first element of the present disclosure, the feeder installation table 40 corresponds to a second element, the first positioning pin 24 corresponds to a first positioning pin, the second positioning pin 26 corresponds to a second positioning pin, the first positioning hole 44 corresponds to a first positioning hole, and the second positioning hole 46 corresponds to a second positioning hole.
[0042] In the positioning structure 50 described in detail above, the first positioning pin 24 includes a root portion 30 and a tip portion 31 provided separately from the root portion 30. Therefore, the tip portion 31 is replaceable. Accordingly, even if the first positioning pin 24 wears over a medium or long period of use, the positioning accuracy can be maintained by replacing the tip portion 31.
[0043] In the positioning structure 50, the root portion 30 is formed of metal, and the tip portion 31 is formed of resin. Therefore, positioning accuracy can be ensured, and the tip portion 31 is less susceptible to wear. This is because the root portion 30 is less likely to deform and the tip portion 31 has good sliding performance. Furthermore, the root portion 30 has a protruding portion 30b, the tip portion 31 has a recessed portion 31b to be fitted into the protruding portion 30b, a circumferential groove 30d is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the protruding portion 30b, and a convex strip 31d to be fitted into the circumferential groove 30d when the protruding portion 30b and the recessed portion 31b are fitted together is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the recessed portion 31.Therefore, it is unlikely that the tip portion 31 will detach from the root portion 30.
[0044] Further, in the positioning structure 50, the tape feeder 20 has a first positioning pin 24 and a second positioning pin 26 arranged in the up-down direction as the positioning pins. The feeder installation table 40 has a first positioning hole 44 into which the first positioning pin 24 is fitted, and a second positioning hole 46 into which the second positioning pin 26 is fitted as the positioning holes. The first positioning pin 24 has a separate structure in which a root portion 30 and a tip portion 31 are provided as separate bodies. The second positioning pin 26 has a length longer than that of the first positioning pin 24 and has an integral structure from the root to the tip. The first positioning hole 44 is a round hole, and the second positioning hole 46 is an elongated hole.which extends in the up-down direction. Therefore, after the second positioning pin 26 is fitted into the second positioning hole 46 and the tape feeder 20 is positioned horizontally with respect to the feeder installation table 40, the first positioning pin 24 is fitted into the first positioning hole 44 and positioned in the up-down direction. Therefore, the tape feeder 20 can be positioned with respect to the feeder installation table 40 with relatively high accuracy.
[0045] In the positioning structure 50, the tip portion 31 is formed in a tapered shape with a diameter that decreases toward the tip. Therefore, the positioning pin can be easily inserted into the positioning hole.
[0046] In the component assembly machine 10 described in detail above, the same effects as in the positioning structure 50 are achieved.
[0047] In the method for manufacturing the plate S described in detail above, the same effects as in the positioning structure 50 are achieved.
[0048] The present invention is in no way limited to the above-described embodiment, and needless to say, the present invention can be embodied in various forms without departing from the technical scope of the present invention.
[0049] In the embodiment described above, the root portion 30 is formed of metal, for example. However, the root portion 30 may also be made of resin. In this case, the root portion 30 may be made of a resin that is less likely to deform than the resin forming the tip portion 31.
[0050] In the above-described embodiment, the circumferential groove 30d is provided on the outer peripheral wall of the protruding portion 30b of the root portion 30, and a convex stripe 31d is provided on the inner peripheral wall of the recessed portion 31b provided on the tip portion 31. However, a convex stripe may be provided on the outer peripheral wall of the protruding portion 30b, and a circumferential groove may be provided on the inner peripheral wall of the recessed portion 31b.
[0051] In the above-described embodiment, the recessed portion 31b of the tip portion 31 can be press-fitted into the projecting part 30b of the root portion 30.
[0052] In the above-described embodiment, the recessed portion 31b into which the protruding part 30b of the root portion 30 is fitted is formed in the tip portion 31. However, the protruding portion 30b of the root portion 30 may be fitted into the tip portion 31, and a hole penetrating the tip portion 31 in the front-rear direction may be formed in the tip portion 31.
[0053] In the above-described embodiment, in the tape feeder 20, the second positioning pin 26 is provided above the first positioning pin 24. However, the second positioning pin 26 may also be provided below the first positioning pin 24. In this case, the second positioning hole 46 may be provided below the first positioning hole 44.
[0054] In the embodiment described above, the positioning structure is used, but a form of a component mounting machine or a form of a plate manufacturing method may be used. Industrial applicability
