Description

[0001] The invention relates to a case system for a motor vehicle interior.

[0002] The invention is based on the object of providing a case system which enables a simple and convenient fastening of a case in a motor vehicle interior.

[0003] This object is achieved by a case system having the features of claim 1.

[0004] The case system according to the invention comprises a case and a motor vehicle seat arranged in the interior of a motor vehicle. The case has a first connection region, wherein a second connection region is arranged on the motor vehicle seat for detachable connection to the first connection region. The case has a carrying handle which is arranged on an upper side of the case with respect to a vertical axis of the case and which is movement-coupled to the first connection region. A transfer of the carrying handle from a rest position to an actuated position deviating from the rest position is accompanied by a transfer of a connection state of the first connection region from a connected state to a released state. In the connected state, the second connecting region is connectable or connected to the first connecting region; in the released state, the second connecting region is detachable from the first connecting region starting from a state connected to the first connecting region.

[0005] The case system enables simple and convenient attachment of the case in a vehicle interior. A resting position of the carrying handle corresponds to a connection state of the first connection area; actuation of the carrying handle and transfer of the carrying handle to an actuation position corresponds to a release state of the first connection area.

[0006] It is possible for the second connection region to be arranged on a backrest of the motor vehicle seat or on an intermediate part which is in turn connected to the motor vehicle seat. If an intermediate part is used, it is preferred for it to have a plug which can be releasably fastened in a plug receptacle of the motor vehicle seat. Such a plug receptacle is preferably integrated in a backrest or in a headrest of the motor vehicle seat, or the plug receptacle is provided by a headrest rod adapter which is fastened between two headrest rods. The plug receptacle and the plug of an intermediate part are preferably components of a "Travel and Comfort" system from the applicant.

[0007] It is further preferred that the first connection area be arranged on a rear side of the case. This allows access to the front of the case when the case is connected to the vehicle seat.

[0008] For simple and reliable attachment of the case, it is preferred that the first connecting area and the second connecting area be connected to each other in a form-fitting manner, for example, by means of a releasable snap-in connection. For this purpose, the two connecting areas have respective form-fitting elements. A form-fitting connection is stable and also has the advantage of providing acoustic and / or haptic feedback when the connection is established.

[0009] Alternatively or additionally, it is preferred if the first connecting region and the second connecting region can be magnetically connected to one another. For this purpose, the two connecting regions have respective magnets which attract one another. A magnetic connection is stable and also has the advantage of acoustic and / or haptic feedback when the connection is established. A magnetic connection has the further advantage of being particularly easy to establish. As soon as a magnet in the first connecting region of the case comes into the range of an attractive force of a magnet in the second connecting region, the attractive force causes self-centering, so that a user only has to position the case “approximately” correctly and the attractive force ensures that the case is aligned in the correct position relative to the vehicle seat. This is particularly advantageous when the magnets of the first connecting area are arranged on a rear side of the case, which is hidden by the case from the perspective of a rear passenger.

[0010] Most preferably, the first connecting region and the second connecting region can be connected to one another both positively and magnetically. For this purpose, a connection system can be used which is offered by Fidlock GmbH, Hanover / Germany and which is known, for example, from DE 10 2011 086 960 A1. With regard to the structure and function of this connection system, reference is made to the content of the cited document. This connection system enables the case to be secured twice to the vehicle seat because, in the connected state, both a positive connection and a magnetic force are effective between the two connecting regions. At the same time, this connection system allows both the positive connection and the magnetic connection to be released by actuating just one actuating element, starting from a connected state.

[0011] To further improve the case system, it is preferred that the first connecting region has at least two first connecting sections spaced apart from one another by a distance, as viewed along the vertical axis of the case, and that the second connecting region has at least two second connecting sections spaced apart from one another by the same distance, as viewed along a vertical axis of the second connecting region, wherein a first connecting section and a second connecting section are each detachably connectable to one another. This enables the case to be connected to the motor vehicle seat at a plurality of connection points offset from one another along the vertical axis. Each of the connection points can in particular be formed by the aforementioned "Fidlock" connection system.

[0012] Preferably, the carrying handle is pivotable about a pivot axis. This allows for conventional use of the carrying handle for carrying the case and, at the same time, a new, intuitive use of the carrying handle for operating the first connection area.

[0013] Preferably, the rest position of the carrying handle is a fully folded state, in which the carrying handle is oriented perpendicular to the vertical axis of the case. This enables a space-saving, secure, and protrusion-free arrangement of the carrying handle, both in a state in which the case is arranged away from the second connecting area and in a state in which the case is connected to the second connecting area.

[0014] It is particularly preferred if the carrying handle is pre-tensioned toward the rest position. This secures the carrying handle against accidental activation and also allows for rattle-free attachment of the carrying handle to the case.

[0015] The carrying handle is preferably in the extended position. This allows for easy and intuitive operation of the first connection area.

[0016] It is further preferred if the operating position deviates from a carrying position of the carrying handle, in which the carrying handle is oriented parallel to the vertical axis of the case. This makes it possible to prevent the case from accidentally detaching from the vehicle seat.

[0017] Preferably, a control slide movable along a displacement axis is provided for at least indirectly coupling a movement of the carrying handle to the first connection area. A first position along the displacement axis correlates with the connection state of the first connection area, and a second position offset therefrom along the displacement axis correlates with the release state of the first connection area. This enables simple actuation of the first connection area, particularly if it comprises at least one connection area of the aforementioned "Fidlock" connection system.

[0018] The control slide is preferably pre-tensioned in the direction of the first position, thereby providing additional protection for the first connection area against unintentional transfer to the release state.

[0019] It is further preferred if the carrying handle is at least indirectly coupled to a coupling part, by means of which a movement of the carrying handle can be transmitted to the control slide. Such a coupling part makes it possible, in particular, to vary the transmission of a movement of the carrying handle to the control slide, in particular such that the carrying handle drives the control slide between its first position and its second position over a first actuation path (from its rest position to the actuation position), but the carrying handle can subsequently still be moved over a second actuation path (from the actuation position to its carrying position) even though the control slide has already reached its second position.

[0020] Furthermore, it is preferred that the coupling part is or can be coupled to the control slide in the rest position and in the actuated position of the carrying handle, and that the coupling part is decoupled from the control slide in the carrying position or a carrying position of the carrying handle. This enables an automatic transfer of a control slide preloaded toward its first position into the first position and thus an automatic transfer of the first connection area from the release state to the connection state.

[0021] Further features and advantages of the invention are the subject of the following description of a preferred embodiment.

[0022] The drawing shows: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an exploded view of an embodiment of a case system with a case and with an intermediate part, from a rear perspective with respect to a motor vehicle seat; Fig. 2 a perspective view of the case in an open state; Fig. 3 a perspective view of the case system according to Fig. 1 from a front perspective, in a non-connected state of the case and the intermediate part; Fig. 4 one of the Fig. 3 corresponding view, in a connected state of the case and the intermediate part; Fig. 5 a perspective view of an inside of a back of the suitcase, in a rest position of a carrying handle of the suitcase; Fig. 6 one in Fig. 5 section marked VI in enlarged view; Fig. 7 a vertical section through connecting areas of the case system, in a state according to Fig. 3; Fig. 8 one of the Fig. 7 corresponding representation, in a condition according to Fig. 4; Fig. 9 one of the Fig. 5 corresponding view, in an operating position of the carrying handle; Fig. 10 one of the Fig. 8 corresponding representation, in a condition of the carrying handle according to Fig. 9; Fig. 11 one of the Fig. 9 corresponding view, in a further operating position of the carrying handle; and Fig. 12 one of the Fig. 11 corresponding view, in a carrying position of the carrying handle.

[0023] In Fig. 1 shows a case system designated overall by reference numeral 10. The system 10 comprises a case 12, a motor vehicle seat 16 arranged in an interior 14 of a motor vehicle, and an intermediate part 18 with a connector 20.

[0024] The motor vehicle seat 16 has a backrest 22 in which a plug receptacle 24 is provided for receiving the plug 20 of the intermediate part 18. (The motor vehicle seat 16 and the backrest 22 are shown only schematically and not to scale.)

[0025] The case 12 and the intermediate part 18 each have associated vertical axes 26 and 28, respectively, which are oriented parallel or substantially parallel to a vertical axis of the motor vehicle forming the interior 14.

[0026] The case 12 has a front side 30 and a back side 32. The front side 30 is formed by a front case shell 34; the back side 32 by a rear case shell 36, see. Fig. 2. The front case shell 34 is pivotable relative to the rear case shell 36 about a pivot axis 38 arranged on the bottom. A known closure 40 is provided for releasably securing the front case shell 34 to the rear case shell 36 when the case 12 is closed.

[0027] The case 12 further comprises a carrying handle 42 which can be adjusted between a rest position (cf. Fig. 1) and a supporting layer (cf. Fig. 2) is pivotable. The carrying handle 42 is preferably pivotably mounted on the rear case shell 36 of the case 12.

[0028] The case 12 has a first connecting area 44 on its rear side 32, see. Fig. 3. The first connecting region 44 is detachably connectable to a second connecting region 46, which is provided on the intermediate part 18, cf. Fig. 1.

[0029] The second connecting region 46 is arranged on a front side 48 of the intermediate part 18 (cf. Fig. 1); the plug 20 is arranged on a rear side 50 of the intermediate part 18 facing away from the front side 48 (cf. Fig. 3). The connector 20 is oriented at an angle, in particular perpendicular to the rear side 50. It is optionally possible for the connector 20 to assume different pivot positions relative to the rear side 50. For this purpose, the connector 20 is pivotally mounted on the intermediate part 18 via a pivot axis 52.

[0030] The first connecting region 44 has first connecting sections 54, 56 which are offset from one another along the vertical axis 26 of the case 12 and which are each formed, for example, by pin receptacles 58, 60 and have a first distance 62 from one another along the vertical axis 26.

[0031] The second connecting region 46 of the intermediate part 18 has three second connecting sections 64, 66, 68 offset from one another along the height axis 58, which are each designed as pins 70, 72, 74, for example.

[0032] Each two adjacent second connecting sections 64, 66, 68 are spaced apart by a second distance 76. This second distance 76 is preferably identical to the first distance 62 of the first connecting sections 54 and 56 of the first connecting region 44.

[0033] The pin receptacles 58 and 60 of the first connecting region 44 and the pins 70, 72, 74 of the second connecting region 46 can each be formed by a so-called "Fidlock system." Such a system is described in DE 10 2011 086 960 A1. Each pin 70, 72, 74 can be connected to a respective pin receptacle 58 or 60 both positively and magnetically. The positive connection and the magnetic connection are automatically established by bringing the pins and the pin receptacles closer together.

[0034] To release a connection between a pin receptacle 58, 60 and one of the pins 70, 72, 74, a control slide 78 is provided, which is arranged in an interior space 80 of the case 12, cf. Fig. 2. The control slide 78 is displaceable back and forth in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 and is held in a basic position by slide springs (not shown), which are preferably part of the “Fidlock” system, which corresponds to a locking position of the first connecting region 44.

[0035] The control slide 78 interacts simultaneously with the majority of the pin receptacles 58 and 60. When the control slide 78 is displaced along the vertical axis 26 starting from the home position, both a positive locking and a magnetic connection to the pins 70 and 72 or 72 and 74 of the intermediate part 18 are released, and the case 12 can be removed from the intermediate part 18.

[0036] The plug 20 can be inserted into the plug receptacle 24 along a plug-in axis 82. The plug 20 can assume a first rotational position relative to the plug-in axis 82 or a second rotational position offset by 180° relative to the plug-in axis 82 and the first rotational position.

[0037] Depending on the choice of the rotational position of the intermediate part 18 and depending on the selection of a pair of pins 70 and 72 or a pair of pins 72 and 74 for connection to the pin receptacles 58 and 60, the case 12 can be fastened to the motor vehicle seat 16 in different height positions.

[0038] The carrying handle 42 is arranged on an upper side 84 of the case 12 relative to the vertical axis 26 and is pivotable relative to the rear case shell 36 about a pivot axis 86. In a rest position of the carrying handle 42, it is completely folded in and oriented perpendicular to the vertical axis 26 of the case 12, see Fig. 5 to 8. To pre-tension the carrying handle 42 into the rest position, a carrying handle spring, which is known per se and therefore not shown, is preferably provided.

[0039] The case 12 has a housing insert 88 connected to the rear case shell 36. The housing insert 88 extends along the vertical axis 26 between the top 84 and a lower end 90 adjacent to a bottom 92 of the case 12.

[0040] The housing insert 88 has a guide section 94, by means of which the control slide 78 is movably mounted in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 along a displacement axis 96. The guidance of the control slide 78 along the displacement axis 96 is supported by a play compensation element 98, which is rotatably mounted on the housing insert 88 and which is in meshing engagement with a rack 100 of the control slide 78.

[0041] The housing insert 88 has at least one link carrier 102 which provides a first link 104 and a second link 106.

[0042] The first link 104 has at its lower end a first link section 108 parallel to the height axis 26 and at its upper end a subsequent second link section 110 perpendicular to the height axis 26, cf. Fig. 5.

[0043] The second link 104 has a main section 112 parallel to the height axis 26 and an alternative section 114 arranged at the lower end of the second link 104, see. Fig. 6.

[0044] Preferably, two mutually parallel link supports 102 are provided, each of which provides the links 104 and 106 described above.

[0045] In order to transmit a movement of the carrying handle 42 to the control slide 78, the case 12 has components described below, which interact with the links 104, 106 and are preferably also provided in duplicate.

[0046] The carrying handle 42 is pivotally connected to a rocker arm 118 via a pivot bearing 116 (cf. Fig. 7). The rocker arm 118 carries, at its end facing away from the carrying handle 42, a rocker arm pin 120 which is guided in the first guide 104.

[0047] The rocker arm pin 120 simultaneously serves as a pivot bearing for a coupling part 122, which has a coupling part pin 124 arranged offset from the rocker arm pin 120. The coupling part pin 124 is also guided in the first guide 104. The coupling part 122 further has a hook-shaped driver 126.

[0048] The driver 126 cooperates with a drive pin 128, which is guided in the second link 106. The drive pin 128 is connected to a drive section 130, which is movable together with the control slide 78 along the displacement axis 96. In addition, the drive section 130 is pivotable relative to the control slide 78 such that the drive pin 128, when arranged at the level of the deflection section 114, is movable within the deflection section 114. A pivot axis 132 is provided for mounting the drive section 130 on the control slide 78.

[0049] The drive section 130 is preloaded by means of a preload spring 134 in the direction of the main section 112 of the second link 106.

[0050] The control slide 78 has a number of control sections 136, 138 corresponding to the number of first connecting sections 54, 56 of the first connecting region 44, cf. Fig. 7. These each interact with sliders 140, 142, which are part of a “Fidlock” system and which are movable relative to the pin receptacles 58, 60 fixed to the case, namely between a connection state (cf. Fig. 7 and Fig. 8) and a release state (see 9 and 10).

[0051] The slides 140, 142 are each pre-tensioned into the connected state by slide springs (not shown), which are part of the “Fidlock” system; this corresponds to a first position of the control slide 78, in which the control slide 78 assumes a lower position relative to the displacement axis 96 (cf. Fig. 5 to 8 and 12). In a second position of the control slide 78, it assumes an upper position relative to the displacement axis 96 (cf. Fig. 9 to 11).

[0052] Each slider 140, 142 is coupled for movement to a magnet and a form-locking element. In the connected state of the first connecting region 44, the magnets and the form-locking elements are positioned relative to the pin receptacles 58, 60 such that two of the three pins 70, 72, 74 of the intermediate part 18 can be positively and magnetically connected to the pin receptacles 58, 60 ( Fig. 7) or are positively and magnetically connected ( Fig. 8).

[0053] In the release state of the first connecting region 44, the magnets and the form-locking elements are positioned relative to the pin receptacles 58, 60 such that two of the three pins 70, 72, 74 of the intermediate part 18 can be inserted into the pin receptacles 58, 60, but are neither positively secured nor magnetically attracted there. With regard to the structure and function of the magnets and form-locking elements, reference is also made to the content of DE 10 2011 086 960 A1. Accordingly, in the release state, it is also possible for certain sections of the (movable) magnets of the pin receptacles 58, 60 and the magnets of the pins 70, 72, 74 to exert mutually repelling magnetic forces.

[0054] When the first connecting region 44 is transferred into its release state, the slides 140, 142 are moved together with the control slide 78 by means of the control sections 136, 138 of the control slide 78 and against the action of the slide springs until the control slide 78 has reached its second position, cf. Fig. 8 to 10.

[0055] The movement of the control spool 78 is limited by a stop 146, which is formed, for example, on the housing insert 88. When the control spool 78 moves from the first position to the second position, the control section 136 comes into contact with the stop 146, so that the control spool 78 cannot be moved beyond the second position. This travel limitation of the control spool 78 is adapted to a maximum travel of the spools 140, 142 relative to the pin receptacles 58, 60.

[0056] The following is based on the connection status according to Fig. 8 describes how the control slide 78 is operated by means of a movement of the carrying handle 42: By pivoting the carrying handle 42 from the rest position into an actuating position pivoted relative to the rest position (cf. Fig. 10), the carrying handle 42 drives the rocker arm 118 via the pivot bearing 116. In this way, the rocker arm pin 120 slides within the first link section 108 of the first link 104. The rocker arm pin 120 drives the coupling part 122, which in turn is also guided in the first link section 108 of the first link 104 via the coupling part pin 124.

[0057] The coupling part 122 thus moves in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 of the case 12 and drives the drive pin 128 via the driver 126. The drive pin 128 thus also moves in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 of the case 12, specifically within the main section 112 of the second link 106. In this way, the drive section 130 and, via the pivot axis 132, the control slide 78 are also moved in a direction parallel to the vertical axis 26 of the case.

[0058] As soon as the drive pin 128 has reached the upper end of the main section 112 of the second link 106, a release state is reached in which the additional part 18 can be detached from the case 12.

[0059] Starting from the above-described operating position of the carrying handle 42 according to Fig. 9 and Fig. 10, it is possible to shift the carrying handle 42 into a further operating position, which is more extended, although the control slide 78 has already reached its uppermost, second position. Fig. 9 and Fig. In the state shown in Figure 10, the coupling part pin 124 of the coupling part 122 has reached the upper end of the first link section 108 of the first link 104. A further movement of the rocker arm 118 and a further displacement of the rocker arm pin 120 within the first link section 108 result in the coupling part pin 124 being displaced along the second link section 110 and thereby rotating around the rocker arm pin 120. This rotating movement also results in the driver 126 engaging the drive pin 128 less strongly, up to a state in which the driver 126 releases the drive pin 128, see Figure 10. Fig. 11.

[0060] When this state is reached, the drive pin 128 is no longer engaged by the driver 126, so that the slide springs of the slides 140 and 142 transfer the control section 78, the drive section 130 and the drive pin 128 back into the connected state of the first connecting area 44 of the case 12, i.e. the control slide 78 is transferred from a second position along the displacement axis 96 into its first position, cf. Fig. 12.

[0061] In the Fig. 12, the carrying handle 42 assumes a carrying position in which the carrying handle 42 is oriented parallel to the vertical axis 26 of the case 12. In the state shown in Fig. 12, it is possible that the case 12 is still secured to the intermediate part 18. However, it is also possible that the case 12 is temporarily (during the actuation positions of the carrying handle 42 according to Fig. 9 and Fig. 11) was replaced by the intermediate part 18.

[0062] Regardless of whether the case 12 is connected to the intermediate part 18 or detached from it when the carrying handle 42 is arranged in its carrying position, the carrying handle 42 can be returned to the rest position either manually and / or with the aid of the carrying handle spring (cf. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6). During this transfer, the pivot lever 118 and the coupling part 122 return to their Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 shown positions.

[0063] Shortly before the rest position according to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 is reached, a contact surface 148 of the driver 126 (cf. Fig.12) in contact with the drive pin 128. Due to manual pressure or the pressure generated by the carrying handle spring, the contact surface 148 overruns the drive pin 128, which deflects into the deflection section 114 against the action of the preload spring 134. As soon as the driver 126 again supports the drive pin 128, the preload spring 134 pushes the drive section 130 and the drive pin 128 back toward the main section 112 of the second link 106.

[0064] The case system described in this application can also be used outside of a motor vehicle and independently of a motor vehicle seat, deviating from the above description and the claims, for example, for arranging and releasably securing a case on watercraft or aircraft, motorcycles, or bicycles. Use in public or private buildings is also conceivable, e.g., in hospitals or doctor's offices. In all of the above cases, the second connection area is not arranged on a motor vehicle seat, but rather on another part of the vehicle or building, or on a piece of furniture.
