Description

[0001] The invention relates to a sealing device for sealing a rear-opening truck box body against a facade portal when loading and unloading it with refrigerated goods.

[0002] It is known to arrange inflatable air bags made of flexible material at the gate opening in the facade of a production facility or a warehouse for refrigerated goods.

[0003] Inside the bag, elastic cords or bands, usually braided elastic cords, are arranged opposite each other, extending from wall to wall, using several rings or tube bends. These bands have little or no pre-tension when the bag is folded and deflated, and are tightened when the bag is inflated. The elastic cords arranged in this way accelerate the folding of the bag when it is deflated.

[0004] Due to the relatively large size of the airbag, the elastic cords require a certain length greater than the cross-section of the airbag, which is why these elastic cords are angled several times within the airbag.

[0005] The disadvantage is that the associated friction in the deflection rings or in the pipe bends during deflection reduces the tension force of the elastic cords and also leads to premature wear of the elastic cords.

[0006] The object of the invention is to create an air bag for optimal sealing between the open rear part of a truck box and a facade opening, which realizes lower friction losses of its elastic cords or bands and less wear of the same as well as a better acceleration of the ventilation process.

[0007] According to the invention, the problem is solved as stated in the claim.

[0008] For this purpose, rope pulley guides are arranged at the deflection points of the elastic cords or bands instead of ring guides or pipe bends, whereby the rope pulleys can be located in a sleeve to ensure trouble-free operation.

[0009] According to the invention, it is advantageous that the roller guide of the elastic cords or bands minimizes their friction losses, which also significantly accelerates the venting process and minimizes the wear of the elastic cords or bands, thus improving the functionality of the sealing device overall.

[0010] The invention is explained below using an embodiment.

[0011] The air bags arranged vertically on the side of the door opening and horizontally at the top to seal between the door opening and the truck body are guided in rollers inside the bag, instead of guide rings or blank bends for the elastic cords contained therein for deflection.
