Description
[0001] The field of the present invention is that of construction panels used in the building sector. The present invention finds a particularly interesting, but not exclusive, application to construction panels designated under the name of "plasterboards", formed from a layer of plaster inserted between two facing sheets, generally made of cardboard.
[0002] Construction panels are widely used in the construction industry, for example, to create partitions, floors or ceilings, to cover such surfaces, to insulate them thermally and / or acoustically, to protect these surfaces from humidity, or to line these surfaces. Construction panels correspond to plates made of a material chosen according to its use. For example, construction panels comprising plaster, wood or wood particles, synthetic materials, mixed fibers, mineral particles, or a mixture of these materials can be mentioned, these construction panels can also be covered with a surface coating made of a material distinct from the chosen material.
[0003] A framework serves as a support for attaching such construction panels to walls and ceilings. This intervention requires several successive attachments of fastening means. These fasteners ensure that each construction panel is secured to the framework. For optimal attachment, twelve screws per square meter of construction panel are required on average. Thus, it is understandable that for the construction of an entire partition, this stage of attaching the construction panels is particularly time-consuming for the technician in charge of this operation. This represents a first drawback of the technique known to date.
[0004] Furthermore, the fastening tools commonly used are often heavy, which adds an additional burden to the technician. The fastening step can then become particularly difficult, especially when attaching a construction panel to a ceiling or when attaching an upper part of the construction panel located above the technician in charge of the operation. This represents a second disadvantage.
[0005] Documents US 9221506 B1, US 2013 / 024067 A1, WO 2008 / 038960 A1 and US 2003 / 048081 A1 disclose automated devices for performing various mechanical operations.
[0006] The invention aims to overcome these various drawbacks.
[0007] For this purpose, the invention relates to an automated device according to claim 1 and configured to move while resting against a construction panel, the automated device comprising a chassis carrying a tool configured to carry out at least one mechanical operation on the construction panel, the automated device comprising at least one suction member configured to hold the automated device against the construction panel and at least one means for moving the automated device along the construction panel, in which the automated device comprises at least one control unit configured to control at least the means for moving the automated device as a function of at least one position data item of a support of the construction panel.
[0008] The mechanical operation on the building panel is an operation of fixing the building panel to the support.
[0009] The present invention therefore aims to meet the constraints set out above by proposing a reliable automated device capable of moving easily over the construction panel, carrying out the mechanical operations usually assigned to the plasterboard technician. Such an automated device according to the invention makes it possible to safely carry out these mechanical operations repeatedly on a construction panel covering a wall, a ceiling or a floor. Such an automated device is adapted to the constraints of adhesion and friction inherent in any inclination of the surface on which it moves.
[0010] The construction panels to which the automated device according to the invention applies are panels used, for example, to cover, totally or partially, a wall of a building, or to create a partition separate from a wall, in particular a dividing wall. The term building is here to be understood in the broad sense and may indifferently designate, in the following, a building as a whole, a room or a set of rooms of a building. The construction panels covered by the invention may be of various natures and dimensions: by way of non-limiting examples, they may be plasterboards, wooden panels or panels made from a composite material, for example based on fragments of wood. Whatever their nature, they have the general shape of a rectangular parallelepiped of small thickness. In other words, these construction panels comprise two main faces which are substantially flat and rectangular, within manufacturing tolerances, separated from each other by a thickness whose dimension is small compared to the length and width of the aforementioned main faces.
[0011] Whatever their nature, the construction panels to which the automated device according to the invention applies are intended to be fixed to a support which is itself either autonomous, in particular in the case of a dividing partition, or integral with the wall in question, by being arranged for example parallel to this wall, in direct contact or at a distance from it. Such a wall may be, in a non-limiting manner, a floor, a wall or a ceiling of a room in this building. With reference to a trihedron L, V, T defined by the conventional spatial orientations, respectively, horizontal, vertical and transverse, the aforementioned wall may therefore be placed horizontally (in the case where the wall in question is a floor or a ceiling), vertically (in the case where the wall in question is a wall), or according to any combination of these orientations. Furthermore, the wall in question may be indifferently an interior wall or an exterior wall of the building.
[0012] The movement of the automated device according to the invention in support against the construction panel is here to be understood in that, in its movement against a surface of the construction panel, the automated device remains in permanent contact with this surface, whatever the spatial orientation of the construction panel, and this, without recourse to an external mechanical holding device. In other words, the mechanical holding of the automated device according to the invention in permanent contact with the surface of the construction panel against which it moves is carried out autonomously by the automated device which is the subject of the invention.
[0013] To do this, the automated device according to the invention comprises at least one suction member. Advantageously, the suction member comprises at least one sealing device and a plate constituting the chassis which delimit a vacuum chamber. Once pressed against the construction panel, the vacuum chamber is closed by the face of this panel. At the other end of the vacuum chamber, the latter is terminated by a vacuum means that the suction member comprises, such means being for example a propeller.
[0014] The sealing device is configured to participate simultaneously in a depression operated by the suction member and in a movement of the automated device according to the invention. In other words, the suction member is configured to keep the automated device according to the invention pressed against the surface of the construction panel against which it is placed, including during the movements of said automated device.
[0015] According to various embodiments, the aforementioned sealing device may comprise, without limitation, a seal coated with a film of a material chosen for its mechanical friction properties, or treated to have mechanical properties, in particular in friction, making it possible to combine the maintenance of the aforementioned depression and the movement of the automated device according to the invention. According to other embodiments, the seal itself may be made of such a material, for example in a fluoropolymer material such as that known under the trade name Teflon ®<.
[0016] In the automated device according to the invention, the suction member and the means for moving along the construction panel are therefore configured to operate simultaneously in order to guarantee permanent contact between the construction panel and the automated device, including during the movements of the latter.
[0017] The mechanical operation carried out by means of the tool equipping the automated device according to the invention is an operation of fixing the construction panel to the support.
[0018] The operation of securing the building panel to the support comprises driving a screw through the building panel and engaging the support, so as to press the building panel against the support. Such a securing operation may also comprise nailing or stapling the building panel to the support.
[0019] In the following, the invention will preferably be described in the context of an operation of fixing the construction panel to a support, but it extends to any mechanical operation of the construction panel where it is appropriate to know the position of the support before carrying out the mechanical operation.
[0020] A support is understood to mean any rigid element or set of rigid elements forming all or part of a framework adapted to receive one or more construction panels. The framework may be autonomous, in the sense that construction panels may, for example, be fixed on either side of such a framework to form a dividing wall, or arranged parallel to an existing wall. In the latter case, the support may be fixed against the existing wall by means of screws or by gluing. The support may also be attached at a distance from the wall and held in position, for example, by means of bracing devices fixed to the wall. In a non-limiting manner, the support may be made of metal, wood, or a composite material, for example based on wood fragments.
[0021] According to the invention, the control unit is configured to communicate with a support position identification system.
[0022] The automated device includes the identification system. In other words, the identification system is embedded in the automated device. The control unit thus controls the means of setting the automated device in motion based on a support position data item identified or detected using technical means present on the automated device.
[0023] It is also envisaged by the invention that the control unit is configured to communicate both with an identification system embedded on the automated device and / or with an identification system remote from the automated device.
[0024] In one example, the automated device according to the invention moves over a surface of the building panel, the identification system is configured so that the automated device according to the invention identifies or determines the position of a support of this building panel.
[0025] According to the invention, the identification system comprises at least one sensor configured to detect a material forming the support. Advantageously, this sensor is configured to communicate to the control unit a signal representative of the presence of the support or of a material forming the support. Depending on the different types of materials that may constitute the support on which the construction panel is fixed, the identification system may comprise one or more of the following sensors: a metal sensor, for detecting metal supports. Such a sensor may, for example, be a sensor operating on the principle of magnetic induction, a density sensor of the material forming the support, more particularly used for detecting supports containing wood, a magnetometer type sensor, for example three-axis, for detecting supports containing a metal, an ultrasonic sensor.
[0026] According to another embodiment variant, the automated device according to the invention comprises a unit for storing a set of positions of the support. This support position data can take the form of coordinates or the form of a mapping of the support relative to a predefined reference frame.
[0027] According to an exemplary embodiment, the storage unit may be part of the identification system, whether it is embedded in the automated device of the invention, or remote from this automated device.
[0028] Advantageously, the control unit may comprise the storage unit.
[0029] Advantageously, the automated device according to the invention may comprise a control module configured to compare an instantaneous position of the automated device on the construction panel with at least one position of the support stored in the storage unit. According to different embodiments, non-exhaustive: an initial position of the automated device on the construction panel can be determined manually by pre-positioning the automated device according to the invention at a reference point on the construction panel and recorded as an initial position in the storage unit, the position of the automated device according to the invention on the construction panel can be defined by a specific member for locating the position of the automated device according to the invention on the construction panel, for example calibrated to recognize a position of the automated device according to the invention relative to one or more edges of the construction panel or relative to one or more markers defined on the wall intended to receive the construction panel.
[0030] The device according to the invention is automated, that is to say that the control unit is configured to control the operation of the various elements that compose it. In particular, the control unit is configured to control the means for setting the automated device in motion. In a complementary manner, this control unit is also configured to control the tool. In a complementary or alternative manner, the control unit is configured to control the suction member.
[0031] This control unit thus controls the operation of a motor capable of setting the device according to the invention in motion, for example an electric motor powered by a domestic network or by an electrical storage device on board the chassis. To this end, the chassis of the automated device according to the invention advantageously comprises one or more movement means, for example wheels, tracks or legs, and a device for driving a wheel, a track or legs. The control unit also controls the operation of the suction member(s), and determines the autonomous maintenance of the automated device on the construction panel. Finally, the control unit controls the starting and stopping of the tool, depending on the information it receives, image of the presence of the support.
[0032] The invention also extends to a method of using an automated device as just described according to claim 11 and configured to carry out a mechanical operation on a construction panel, the method according to the invention comprising at least: a step of moving the automated device, a step of identifying a support for the construction panel, a step of implementing the tool configured to carry out the desired mechanical operation.
[0033] According to one aspect of the invention, the mechanical operation is an operation of fixing the building panel to the support, an operation of cutting the building panel or an operation of sanding the building panel.
[0034] According to different variants, the method according to the invention may comprise a step of detecting a material constituting the support, or a step of comparing an instantaneous position of the automated device according to the invention on the construction panel with a set of positions received or pre-recorded from the support, stored in a unit for storing position data of the support, as previously mentioned.
[0035] In all cases, the automated device according to the invention and the associated method achieve the aims that the invention had set for itself. Indeed, for example in the context of an application to the installation of a construction panel by screwing onto a support, the automated device according to the invention, thanks to its own characteristics and by the implementation of the associated method, autonomously carries out the repeated tasks of installing the screws for fixing the construction panel to its support, at predefined distance intervals. By the configuration of the mechanical tool that it carries, the automated device according to the invention reduces the arduousness induced by the various mechanical operations when they are repeated manually by site operators.
[0036] The automated device is configured to move while resting against a construction panel, and comprises a chassis on which are fixed at least one means for moving the automated device along the construction panel, a suction member configured to allow the automated device to be held against the construction panel and a fixing tool configured to implement fixing means.
[0037] It is noted here that the automated device described in the preceding paragraph is also suitable for any tool capable of performing a mechanical operation on the construction panel. The fixing tool is configured to implement fixing means. The description of the characteristics set out below relates to a fixing tool.
[0038] In other words, one aspect of the present invention relates to a robot or automaton which comprises at least one locomotion member which allows it to move while resting against a construction panel and a fixing tool which allows it to fix this construction panel. The construction panel thus constitutes a working and movement surface of the automated device.
[0039] The building board is made of a mineral, natural or synthetic material, or a combination of these materials. Advantageously, the building board contains at least plaster.
[0040] According to the invention, the robot comprises at least one suction member which allows it to remain pressed against this construction panel, whatever the inclination of the latter. In other words, this construction panel can for example be a floor, a wall or a ceiling.
[0041] Advantageously, the automated device according to the invention may comprise at least two suction members. According to a particular configuration, these suction members are then arranged on either side of the fixing tool. Advantageously, this configuration makes it possible to improve the stability of the automated device, in particular when the fixing tool implements the fixing means.
[0042] According to one feature, at least one suction member comprises at least one sealing device delimiting, with a plate, at least one chamber, the suction member comprising at least one means for creating a vacuum in this chamber, the automated device comprising at least one motor configured to implement the means for creating a vacuum. It is therefore understood that the means for creating a vacuum in the chamber is configured to suck in the air present in this chamber, between the automated device and the construction panel. The vacuum thus generated in the chamber is sufficient to allow the automated device to remain pressed against the construction panel regardless of the position of the latter and regardless of the working step of the automated device.
[0043] Advantageously, the depressurization of the chamber is further determined to counterbalance a force generated by the fixing tool when the latter implements the fixing means.
[0044] Advantageously, when the automated device comprises two suction members, the latter are identical.
[0045] When the automated device comprises two suction members, the motor can be configured to simultaneously drive each of the two vacuum means. Alternatively, it may be possible to provide for each vacuum means to be driven by its own motor. For example, this / these motor(s) are electric motors.
[0046] According to a variant, each suction member may comprise a plurality of sealing devices which delimit a plurality of chambers in which identical or different levels of depression may be generated, each suction member then also being able to comprise a plurality of depression creation means.
[0047] According to one feature, the fastening tool comprises a system for loading the fastening means. Advantageously, this system for loading the fastening means may be an automatic loading system. In other words, the fastening tool is configured to automatically load a fastening means into the fastening tool after having positioned the previous fastening means. Optionally, the automated device according to the invention may also comprise a reserve of fastening means. The automatic loading system is then configured to take the fastening means directly from this reserve. Thus, this reserve is filled with at least as many fastening means as necessary so that the operator using the automated device no longer has to perform any action once the automated device is in operation.
[0048] The fixing means implemented by the automated device is, for example, a screw, a nail or a staple.
[0049] According to a first exemplary embodiment, the fixing tool comprises a screwdriver. According to this exemplary embodiment, it is understood that the fixing means implemented by this fixing tool are screws.
[0050] According to a second exemplary embodiment, the fastening tool comprises a nail gun. In other words, according to this second exemplary embodiment, the fastening means implemented by the fastening tool are nails.
[0051] According to a third exemplary embodiment, the fastening tool comprises a stapler. In other words, according to this third exemplary embodiment, the fastening means implemented by the fastening tool are staples.
[0052] According to one feature, the movement means comprises at least one wheel and an electric motor for driving the wheel, this wheel being configured to come to bear against the construction panel. According to this feature, this at least one wheel is in contact with the construction panel and allows the automated device to move. Indeed, as previously mentioned, this automated device is kept in contact with the construction panel by the suction member(s). Advantageously, the automated device comprises at least four wheels distributed two by two near the suction members. In other words, each suction member is arranged between two wheels. Even more advantageously, these wheels can be textured so that their adhesion to the construction panel is improved, which increases their traction capacity of the automated device. It is understood that these textured wheels have a significant advantage when the building panel in question is a wall or a ceiling.
[0053] For example, each wheel is driven by a dedicated motor. This or these motor(s) are, for example, electric motors.
[0054] According to an exemplary embodiment, the automated device is powered by a power source external to the automated device. According to another embodiment, the automated device is powered by a power source internal to this automated device. The term "source internal to the automated device" means a source embedded on the chassis, i.e. an energy source integral with this chassis. For example, this internal source may be an electrical storage device.
[0055] It is therefore understood that according to the first embodiment, the movements of the automated device are limited only by the presence of an electric wire necessary for connecting the automated device to the external energy source, whatever it may be. It is also understood that, according to the other embodiment, the movements of the automated device are limited only by the storage capacity of the electrical storage device.
[0056] The chassis of the automated device comprises at least two lateral platforms, each carrying a suction member, the lateral platforms being connected to each other by at least one reinforcement and the fixing tool being positioned between these two lateral platforms. According to one characteristic, at least one of these lateral platforms comprises a deformable material which forms the plate which helps to delimit the chamber of the suction member carried by the lateral platform concerned. Advantageously, the plates of each of the lateral platforms are formed by this deformable material. Thus, when the automated device is bearing against the construction panel, these plates are configured to deform so that they come to bear against the construction panel. Advantageously, this support makes it possible to further stabilize the automated device and therefore to improve the precision with which the fixing tool implements the fixing means. For example, at least one board, advantageously both boards, is formed by a thin wooden board. “Thin wooden board” means a board with an average thickness of approximately 3 mm, this thickness being measured between two opposite faces of this board.
[0057] According to an example application, the construction panel is a plasterboard. According to this example application, the fixing tool is then configured to fix this plasterboard against a frame, otherwise called a support. This frame can for example take the form of a plurality of rails connected to each other by one or more uprights, these rails and these uprights being advantageously made of metal or wood. It is understood that the fixing tool, as well as the fixing means implemented by the fixing tool, are therefore adapted to the materials used both for the construction panel and the frame on which this construction panel is fixed.
[0058] The present description finally relates to a method for fixing a construction panel by means of an automated device as set out above, comprising at least one step during which a plurality of fixing points are defined, a step during which the automated device is positioned against the construction panel to be fixed, a step during which the suction member is put into operation so as to keep the automated device pressed against the construction panel, a step during which the movement means is actuated so that the automated device moves to one of the fixing points and a step during which the fixing tool implements a fixing means so as to fix the construction panel.
[0059] It is understood that the last two steps are repeated until fixing means are positioned at each previously defined fixing point.
[0060] Other characteristics, details and advantages of the invention will emerge more clearly on reading the description given below for information purposes, in relation to the following drawings, in which: there figure 1 schematically illustrates an automated device according to the invention in a situation of use against a ceiling; the figure 2 is a schematic perspective view of an automated device according to the invention; figure 3 is a schematic sectional view of a construction panel on which is placed a device according to a first variant embodiment of the invention; the figure 4 is a schematic sectional view of a construction panel on which is placed a device according to a second variant embodiment of the invention, the figure 5 is a schematic view of the different stages of a method according to the invention; figure 6 schematically illustrates another example of an automated device in use against a ceiling; figure 7 is a schematic perspective view of the automated device; figure 8 represents, schematically and seen from below, the automated device; the figure 9 is a longitudinal sectional view of the automated device illustrated resting against a building panel.
[0061] It should first be noted that while the figures set out the invention in detail for its implementation, said figures can of course be used to better define the invention where appropriate. It should also be noted that the same elements are designated by the same references throughout the figures. Finally, below, "substantially" should be understood to mean that the dimensions, directions and orientations mentioned in the following take into account manufacturing and assembly tolerances.
[0062] There figure 1 illustrates a general context of preferred application of the invention. This figure shows schematically, seen from the inside, part of a room 4 of a building. On the figure 1 a ceiling 3 is visible, as well as two walls, respectively 5, 6, of room 4. On the figure 1 is also represented a direct trihedron (L, V, T) representing the three directions of space, respectively a horizontal direction L, a vertical direction V, and a transverse direction T. On the figure 1 is also schematically represented an opening 7 arranged in the wall 6: the opening 7 can, for example, be intended to receive a window. The room 4 advantageously comprises one or more other walls, as well as a floor, not shown in the figure 1 .
[0063] The ceiling 3 and the walls 5, 6 each form a wall of the room 4, intended to be covered by one or more construction panels 2. In the following, the invention will be described and illustrated in the context of a construction panel 2 intended to be attached to the wall formed by the ceiling 3, it being understood that the elements and characteristics described for such a construction panel 2 apply to any construction panel 2 intended to be attached to one of the walls 5, 6, visible on the figure 1 , or on any other wall such as the wall or floor of room 4. These elements and characteristics described for the construction panel 2 also apply to any construction panel 2 intended to be attached to a support independent of a wall, as is the case with a dividing partition.
[0064] According to various examples, the construction panel 2 may comprise a layer of plaster sandwiched between two facing sheets, thus constituting a panel known as plasterboard, or the construction panel 2 may be, for example, made of wood or a composite material comprising fragments of wood assembled together, for example by a polymer resin.
[0065] In all cases, whatever the material chosen, the construction panel 2 is advantageously a plate whose general shape is substantially that of a rectangular parallelepiped, with a length of 40, partially shown on the figure 1 , and a width 41 are large in front of the thickness 42, visible on the figures 3 et 4 Typically, the length 40 and the width 41 of such a construction panel 2 vary from a few tens of centimeters to a few meters, and the thickness 42 of such a panel 4 is of the order of a few millimeters to a few centimeters.
[0066] The construction panel 2 comprises a first face, or inner face, and a second face 50, or outer face, substantially rectangular and parallel to each other, each having the aforementioned length 40 and width 41. The inner face 49 is the face of the construction panel 2 intended to be placed on the wall of the room 4 on which the construction panel 2 is attached: it is visible on the figures 3 et 4 The outer face 50 is the face of the construction panel 2 intended to be visible from the inside of the room 4 and along which the automated device 1 which is the subject of the invention moves.
[0067] Advantageously, the construction panel 2 is attached to the wall by means of a support 8 itself, for example, secured to the wall. According to different embodiments, the support 8 may be metallic, it may be made of wood, or it may be formed from a composite material, for example based on fragments of wood and a polymer resin. Whatever the material that constitutes it, the support 8 is a rigid element either made integral with the wall, for example by screws, bolts, staples or glued thereto, or independent of this wall.
[0068] According to various embodiments, the support 8 may be in the form of one or more rectilinear rails, for example of square or rectangular section along a plane perpendicular to its main direction of elongation. Advantageously, these rails may be arranged in a network on the wall intended to receive the construction panel, so as to form together a mesh thus constituting a support frame 8 for the construction panel(s). These construction panels may totally or partially cover this wall, or form a separating partition as such, in the absence of a wall to be covered.
[0069] According to the example of realization more particularly illustrated by the figure 1 , the support 8 comprises a first set of rails 11 and a second set of uprights 12. The rails 11 of the first set and the uprights 12 of the second set are therefore substantially perpendicular to each other. The rails 11 and the uprights 12 thus form a network of bars constituting the framework integral with the ceiling 3 or the wall 5, 6, framework on which the construction panels 2 are intended to be fixed.
[0070] Advantageously, a distance 52, measured along the transverse direction T previously defined, between two rails 11 of the first set of rails, is substantially equal to the width 41 of a construction panel 2. Of course, additional rails of the first set of rails are provided between these two rails 11 and the construction panel 2 is fixed there.
[0071] As shown in the figure 1 , the construction panel 2 is advantageously fixed on the rails 11 of the first set of rails, for example by a set of fixing means 9. It follows from the above that a fixing means 9, for example a screw inserted in the vicinity of an edge 15 of the construction panel 2 in the vertical direction V, passes through the construction panel 2 and penetrates into one of the rails 11. It should be noted that certain fixing means 9 can be inserted into one of the uprights 12 without this being detrimental to the invention.
[0072] There figure 1 also schematically shows the automated device 1 according to the invention in a position in which, for example, this automated device 1 carries out an operation of positioning and tightening the fixing means 9 of the construction panel 2 on the support 8. The automated device 1 according to the invention is more particularly illustrated by the figure 2 .
[0073] In reference to the figure 2 , the automated device 1 according to the invention comprises a chassis 14 equipped with wheels 38. According to the exemplary embodiment more particularly illustrated by the figure 2 , the frame 14 has a substantially rectangular general shape extending along a main direction of elongation X, hereinafter referred to as the longitudinal direction of the automated device 1. With reference to the aforementioned main direction of elongation X, a transverse direction Y of the automated device 1 is defined, perpendicular to the aforementioned main direction of elongation X, and a vertical direction Z perpendicular to the plane defined by the aforementioned longitudinal direction X and by the transverse direction Y, such that the directions (X, Y, Z) form a direct trihedron. With reference to this direct trihedron (X, Y, Z), the frame 14 extends substantially mainly in a plane defined by the longitudinal direction X and by the transverse direction Y.
[0074] As illustrated on the figure 2 , the chassis 14 of the automated device 1 comprises a central part 101 carrying a tool 13 and two platforms 20 arranged on either side of this tool 13, that is to say on either side of the central part 101. In other words, the automated device 1 comprises, in this order and along its extension axis X, a first platform 20, the central part 101 and a second platform 20.
[0075] These platforms 20 each have a substantially rectangular shape, the corners of which have chamfers 123. Advantageously, this allows the automated device 1 to more easily access certain portions of the construction panels to be fixed, in particular the corners of this construction panel.
[0076] The platform 20 comprises a plate 39, at least one means 19 for moving the automated device 1 and a suction member 24. The plate 39 is provided with a passage through which the air is sucked in order to generate the vacuum. The plate 39 comprises an outer peripheral strip where a sealing device 25 is arranged. The space between the plate 39, the construction panel and the sealing device 25 forms a vacuum chamber, the latter having a suction mouth intended to be positioned against the construction panel.
[0077] According to the example illustrated here, each of the wheels 38 is carried by a rigid structure 112 secured to one of the plates 39 and which extends mainly in a direction perpendicular to a plane in which the plate 39 mainly extends.
[0078] As shown on the figure 2 , the platforms 20 are further connected to each other by at least one reinforcement 21, advantageously two parallel reinforcements 21 arranged on either side of the tool 13. More particularly, these reinforcements 21 extend in two directions parallel to the axis X of extension of the chassis 14. These reinforcements 21 are advantageously configured on the one hand to improve the strength of the automated device 1 and on the other hand to stiffen the chassis 14 as a whole. In order not to make the automated device 1 too heavy, these reinforcements 21 have recesses 105 arranged for example opposite the central part 101 of the chassis 14. According to the example illustrated here, these recesses 105 each have a triangular shape but it is understood that any other shape would be possible without departing from the context of the invention. Additional reinforcements are also provided and are arranged to connect the reinforcements 21.
[0079] As shown in the figure 2 , the chassis 14 carries four wheels 38 symmetrically distributed around the periphery of the chassis 14, the four wheels 38 forming a component of a means 19 for setting the automated device 1 in motion. The four wheels 38 thus enable the automated device 1 to move and to be guided during these movements. More specifically, the wheels 38 enable the automated device 1 to move against the outer face of the construction panel 2.
[0080] In reference to the figure 2 , the automated device 1 comprises the tool 13 configured to carry out at least one mechanical operation on the construction panel. According to the exemplary embodiment more particularly illustrated by the figure 2 , the tool 13 is placed in a substantially central position of the previously defined chassis 14. In this particular example, this tool 13 extends mainly in a direction Z of extension perpendicular to the plane in which at least one of the plates 39 of the chassis 14 extends. The tool 13 comprises at least one head 43 driven by a motor 44, for example an electric motor. As shown in the figure 2 , this head 43 and the motor 44 are carried by a bracket 22 formed of two columns 47 connected to each other by a rear block 45. More particularly, the head 43 and the motor 44 are connected to the rear block 45 of the bracket 22 by two columns 48.
[0081] According to the invention, the automated device 1 is capable of moving while resting against an outer face of a construction panel while remaining in permanent contact with this face. To do this, the automated device 1 comprises the means 19 for setting the automated device 1 in motion. This means 19 for setting the automated device 1 in motion comprises at least one electric motor associated with one of the wheels 38, both configured to set the automated device 1 in motion. As a non-exclusive example, the electric motor is for example powered by a domestic electrical network or by an energy source on board the chassis 14, such as an electrical storage device.
[0082] According to the invention, the automated device 1, otherwise called an automaton, comprises an identification system 700 of the support against which the construction panel is pressed. According to the invention and the figure 2 , this identification system 700 comprises a sensor 76 arranged in situ, on the chassis 14 of the automated device 1. This sensor 76 is for example integral with the central part 101, being in the immediate vicinity of the tool 13. The identification system 700 will be discussed in more detail in figures 3 et 4 .
[0083] The automated device 1 also advantageously comprises a control unit 34 configured to control, in particular, the operation of the electric movement motor, the operation of a suction member 24, as well as the operation of the tool 13 previously defined.
[0084] As mentioned above, the invention provides that the automated device 1 comprises a suction member 24, configured to generate a vacuum in a chamber. According to the exemplary embodiment more particularly illustrated by the figure 2 , the automated device 1 comprises two suction members 24 arranged on either side of the tool 13, in the longitudinal direction X of the automated device 1 according to the invention.
[0085] According to a characteristic of the invention, the suction member 24 comprises the sealing device 25 which, with the plate 39 constituting the chassis 14, delimits the depression chamber where the depression takes place to hold the automated device 1 against the construction panel.
[0086] The suction member 24 also comprises a means 27 for creating a vacuum in the chamber, schematically illustrated in the figures 2 à 4 , and which forms the element generating the depression in the depression chamber. For example, this depression means 27 takes the form of a propeller set in rotation by an electric motor 31 on the shaft of which the propeller is arranged.
[0087] The sealing device 25 is configured to participate simultaneously in the depression generated by the suction member 24 and in the movements of the automated device 1 against the construction panel 2. The sealing device 25 may be a seal made of a material specifically chosen for its mechanical properties or treated to give it the desired mechanical properties, for example by an appropriate surface treatment or by the addition of a film of a specific material chosen for its mechanical properties. The mechanical properties more specifically sought in the context of the sealing device 25 are, in particular, friction properties, the seal having to be maintained when the automated device 1 according to the invention moves against a face of the construction panel 2.
[0088] The suction member 24 and its sealing device 25 thus allow that, in all spatial positions of the automated device 1, the latter moves against an external face of a construction panel 2, autonomously, and while remaining in permanent contact with the external face on which it moves.
[0089] This is more particularly illustrated by the figure 1 on which the automated device 1 according to the invention is shown moving against the ceiling 3 of the room 4. The suction member 24 and its sealing device 25 here make it possible to counteract the effects of gravity which would cause the automated device 1 to fall. Similarly, the suction member 24 and its sealing device 25 are configured so that the automated device 1 moves along the construction panel 2 arranged vertically against a wall 5, 6, counteracting, here again, the effects of gravity which would cause the automated device 1 to fall.
[0090] THE figures 3 et 4 illustrate respectively, in section along a plane parallel to the vertical longitudinal plane (XZ) of the automated device 1 according to the invention, two variant embodiments of such an automated device 1 placed against a construction panel 2. These figures show the construction panel 2, as well as its inner face 49 and its outer face 44 previously described. These figures also schematically illustrate a rail 11 of the support 8 onto which the construction panel 2 is here intended to be screwed.
[0091] THE figures 3 et 4 also show, in section, the frame 14, the suction members 24 and the tool 13 of the automated device 1, as well as a fixing means 9 passing through the construction panel 2 and inserting into the rail 11 of the support 8. The rail 11 of the support 8 shown in section on the figures 3 et 4 has a U-shaped profile, a first branch of which is pressed against the inner face 49 of the construction panel 2 and a second branch of which rests against the upright 12 visible on the figure 1 The plate 39 of each platform, the means 27 for creating a vacuum and the sealing device 25 delimit the vacuum chamber 26.
[0092] According to one of its characteristics, the automated device 1 according to the invention comprises the identification system 700 of a position of the support 8 on which the construction panel 2 is attached.
[0093] According to the first embodiment variant illustrated by the figure 3 , the identification system 700 of the support 8 comprises the sensor 76 configured to detect at least one material constituting the support 8. Non-limitingly, the sensor 76 may be a metal sensor, a density sensor, an ultrasonic sensor and / or a magnetometer, for example a three-axis magnetometer. In such a case, the sensor may also provide an orientation in space of the automated device 1 according to the invention.
[0094] As shown in the figure 3 , the sensor 76 is advantageously placed in the immediate vicinity of the tool 13, in order to optimize the representativeness of the detection carried out for the mechanical operation to be carried out by means of this tool 13. The sensor 76 is thus carried by the chassis 14. This sensor 76 is here arranged between the two suction members 24 and it has a detection face arranged in a plane passing through the plate 39 of at least one of the suction members 24. This guarantees ideal positioning of the sensor 76 to detect the support 8, without damaging the sensor 76.
[0095] According to the second embodiment variant illustrated by the figure 4 , the invention provides that the automated device 1 according to the invention comprises a storage unit 77 for a set of position data of the support 8. Such a storage unit 77 is part of the identification system 700 according to the invention. The storage unit 77 is, for example, configured to communicate with an external device 81 in which a set of positions of the support 8 is pre-recorded. The external device 81 may be part of the identification system 700. According to one example, the external device 81 is a computer, a smartphone, a tablet, or any electronic means capable of delivering position data of the support 8. The external device 81 communicates to the control unit 34 of the automated device 1 either a map of the support 8, or position data of the support 8, or even instructions for moving the automated device 1 which reflect the position of the support 8.
[0096] The first variant of the embodiment illustrated in the figure 3 and the second variant embodiment shown in the figure 4 may be mutually exclusive. Alternatively, these two variants may be complementary, the automated device 1 according to the invention then comprising the sensor 76 and the storage unit 77 of a set of position data of the support 8.
[0097] According to a particular embodiment, the control unit 34 previously defined can advantageously comprise a member 82 for determining an instantaneous position of the automated device 1 on the construction panel 2. By way of non-limiting example, this instantaneous position can be determined relative to a reference position, for example defined by manually placing the automated device 1 in an initial position against the construction panel 2. This instantaneous position can also be determined, at predefined time intervals, by an autonomous system for locating the automated device 1 with reference to one or more reference points previously defined on the wall 1 or in the room 4 in which the automated device 1 is placed.
[0098] The automated device 1 may further comprise a control module 78 configured to compare the instantaneous position of the automated device 1 on the construction panel 2 with one or more positions of the support 8, these positions having been previously recorded in the storage unit 77.
[0099] The invention also extends to a method of using an automated device 1, as just described, for carrying out a mechanical operation on a construction panel 2 against which the automated device 1 is placed.
[0100] There figure 5 schematically illustrates the progress of such a method. This method will be described here in the context of an operation of installing a construction panel 2 on a support 8, that is to say in the context of the installation and tightening of a set of fixing means 9 for fixing the construction panel 2 on the support 8. As indicated previously, this application is not exclusive and the method according to the invention also applies to any type of mechanical operation that can be carried out by means of a tool 13 suitable for a construction panel 2.
[0101] In reference to the figure 5 , the method according to the invention comprises at least one step 100 of moving the automated device 1 according to the invention against the outer face of the construction panel 2, as well as a second step 200 of identifying the support and a third step 300 of implementing the previously defined tool.
[0102] According to a first variant of implementation of such a method, corresponding to the first variant of embodiment of the automated device 1 illustrated by the figure 3 , step 200 of identifying the support comprises a sub-step 210 of detecting a material constituting the support 8, for example by means of the sensor as previously defined.
[0103] During step 100 of moving the automated device 1, the means for moving the automated device is activated, for example, by the control unit, until the sensor detects the presence of a support.
[0104] Once this detection has been made, the means of movement of the automated device is interrupted and the tool is controlled by the control unit to implement the planned mechanical operation. Once the mechanical operation has been carried out, the control unit controls the means of movement over a distance previously recorded in the control unit. If the presence of the support is again or still detected by the sensor, then a new implementation of the tool can be controlled by the control unit.
[0105] According to this first variant, the invention provides that the sequences of steps 100 of moving the automated device and step 300 of implementing the tool follow one another until, for example, the presence of the support is not confirmed during the sub-step 210 of detecting the support, or until a new movement of the automated device is impossible. An operator can then, for example, manually move the automated device to a new position on the construction panel, from which the previously described sequences can be restarted.
[0106] A second variant of the method according to the invention corresponds to the second embodiment variant, illustrated by the figure 4 , of the automated device according to the invention. According to this second embodiment, the automated device 1 according to the invention comprises a storage unit in which a set of positions of the support is recorded. The step 200 of identifying the support then comprises a sub-step 220 of receiving and recording this set of positions of the support. This set thus forms a map of the position of the support, and the automated device can then move on the construction panel until it is at the right of these recorded positions.
[0107] According to this second implementation variant, the method according to the invention advantageously provides that the automated device is, for example, placed at an original position, previously recorded as a reference position in the storage unit. The control unit of the automated device then controls the movement of the latter to a first position of the support received by and recorded in the aforementioned storage unit during sub-step 220. When the automated device according to the invention has reached the aforementioned first position of the support, the control unit controls the tool to carry out the desired mechanical operation. Once this mechanical operation has been carried out, the control unit controls the automated device according to the invention to move to a next position of the support, pre-recorded in the storage unit.
[0108] Advantageously, the method according to the invention may comprise a step 400 of comparing an instantaneous position of the automated device according to the invention against the construction panel with a position of the support. According to the invention, the previously defined control unit then controls the movements of the automated device 1 as a function of the result of the comparison between the position, at a given instant, of the automated device according to the invention against the construction panel, and the position of the support. The instantaneous position of the automated device on the construction panel is then, for example, determined by the member for determining the position of the automated device against the construction panel, as described with reference to the figure 4 .
[0109] As just described, the invention makes it possible, thanks to the means it implements, to carry out one or more repetitive mechanical operations on a construction panel in a reliable and reproducible manner. It therefore achieves the goals it set for itself.
[0110] Referring now to the figure 6 , we see the automated device 1 in situation. The latter progresses on a construction panel 2 which covers a ceiling 3 located in a room shown diagrammatically on the figure 6 by two sections of walls 5, 6 inclined at 90° relative to a horizontal plane, this horizontal plane being parallel to a main extension plane of the ceiling 3. One of the sections of walls is pierced by a window 7. The other is without one. This situation is not limiting, and it would have been possible for example to place the automated device 1 on a construction panel 2 participating in forming or covering one or other of the sections of walls 5, 6.
[0111] The construction panel 2 is thus secured to the ceiling 3 by means of a frame 80, which corresponds to the support 8 described in figures 1 à 5 . More precisely, a plurality of construction panels 2 are secured to this ceiling by means of this frame 80.
[0112] According to the example illustrated on the figure 6 , the fixing of one of these construction panels 2 on this ceiling 3 is in progress, that is to say that the automated device 1 according to the invention is fixing the construction panel 2 on the frame 80, itself fixed beforehand on the ceiling 3. It is understood that once the construction panel 2 is secured to the frame 80, an internal space 32 is created between the ceiling 3 and the construction panel 2. Advantageously, an acoustically absorbent and / or thermally insulating element can be positioned in this internal space 32. Such an acoustically absorbent element can occupy all or part of a volume of the internal space 32.
[0113] This framework 80 may for example consist of a metal framework comprising rails 11 mounted on uprights 12 perpendicular to these rails 11. These rails 11 respectively form a support and fixing zone for a construction panel 2. In other words, each construction panel 2 comprises a first edge 15 intended to be fixed on a first rail and a second edge 16 intended to be fixed on a second rail. It may also be provided that each construction panel 2 is further fixed on two central rails, that is to say a third rail parallel to the first rail and to the second rail and a fourth rail also parallel to this first rail and to this second rail. Advantageously, the automated device 1 according to the invention is configured to fix each construction panel 2 on each of these rails 11.
[0114] Alternatively, this frame 80 can be made of wood. It is understood that any other material compatible with the invention is possible to produce this frame 80 without departing from the context of the invention.
[0115] As shown, the construction panel 2 is secured to the frame 80 by means of fixing means 9. It is understood that each of these fixing means 9 passes through the construction panel 2 to fit into one of the rails 11 of the frame 80 and thus ensure this securing. For example, these fixing means 9 can be screws, nails or even staples. Two rectilinear rows of fixing means 9 are illustrated in the figure 1 , at least the fixing means 9 of the same row being fixed on the same rail. Advantageously, two adjacent construction panels 2 are fixed on the same rail. Alternatively, it may be provided that each construction panel 2 is fixed on rails specific to it.
[0116] We understand from the figure 6 that these fixing means 9 are put in place by the automated device 1 which moves parallel to the rail concerned. We will now describe this automated device 1 in more detail, as well as its mode of operation with reference to figures 7 à 9 .
[0117] There figure 7 schematically illustrates the automated device 1 according to the invention, this figure 7 being a perspective view of this automated device 1. The figure 8 represents the automated device 1 according to the invention, seen from below. Finally, the figure 9 is a sectional view of the automated device 1. With reference to the figure 6 , this cut shown at the figure 9 is produced according to a plane perpendicular to the main extension plane of the ceiling 3 on which the automated device 1 moves, this plane being referenced AA on the figure 6 .
[0118] The automated device 1 comprises a chassis 14 which extends mainly along an extension axis X and on which are fixed at least one means 19 for setting the automated device 1 in motion, a fixing tool 13 configured to allow the fixing of a construction panel on a frame as described with reference to the figure 6 , and at least one suction member 24, advantageously two suction members 24, configured to allow the automated device 1 to remain pressed against the construction panel to be fixed regardless of the inclination of this construction panel. As shown, the fixing tool 13 extends mainly in a direction Z of extension at least perpendicular to the axis X of extension of the chassis 14.
[0119] The example embodiment of the automated device 1 described in figures 6 à 9 shows a fixing tool referenced 13. To simplify the description, the automated device 1 of the figures 6 à 9 is described in combination with the building panel fastener 13, but it is understood that this detailed description applies to any tool configured to perform a mechanical operation on or in the building panel.
[0120] According to an example illustrated on the figures 7 à 9 , the movement means 19 comprises a plurality of wheels 38, in this case four wheels 38, each of these wheels 38 being driven by an electric drive motor - not shown in these figures - which is specific to it. Alternatively, all the wheels 38 are driven by the same electric drive motor. These wheels 38 can for example be textured so as to improve their grip on the construction panel being fixed and therefore improve the traction capacity of these wheels 38. It will be noted, however, that these wheels 38, whether textured or not, are only used for moving the automated device 1, that is to say that maintaining this automated device 1 in abutment against the construction panel is only permitted thanks to the suction members 24 described below.
[0121] As for example illustrated on the figure 7 , the chassis 14 of the automated device 1 comprises a central part 101 carrying the fixing tool 13 and two lateral platforms 20 arranged on either side of this fixing tool 13, that is to say on either side of the central part 101. In other words, the automated device 1 comprises, in this order and along its extension axis X, a lateral platform 20, the central part 101 and another lateral platform 20.
[0122] These lateral platforms 20 each comprise at least one plate 39 of substantially rectangular shape, the corners of which have chamfers 123. Advantageously, this allows the automated device 1 to more easily access certain portions of the construction panels to be fixed, in particular the corners of these construction panels.
[0123] Each of the lateral platforms 20 also carries one of the suction members 24 of the automated device 1 and two of the four wheels 38 forming the means 19 for setting the automated device 1 in motion. In other words, these wheels 38 are distributed two by two on either side of each suction member 24. According to the example illustrated here, each of the wheels 38 is carried by a rigid structure 112 secured to one of the plates 39 and which extends mainly in a direction perpendicular to a plane in which the plates 39 of the chassis 14 extend, that is to say in a direction parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13. For example, these rigid structures 112 may each have a triangular shape, a median of which extends parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13.
[0124] As shown on the figure 7 , the lateral platforms 20 are further connected to each other by at least one reinforcement 21, advantageously two parallel reinforcements 21 arranged on either side of the fixing tool 13.
[0125] It is also noted that two pairs of additional reinforcements 40 can be arranged on the chassis 14, and more particularly between the two reinforcements 21 connecting the lateral platforms 20. In other words, these pairs of additional reinforcements 40 extend in directions perpendicular to the axis X of extension of the chassis 14 and to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13. These pairs of additional reinforcements 40 advantageously make it possible to connect the two reinforcements 21 together and thus also contribute to stiffening the chassis 14 and improving the mechanical strength of the automated device 1. According to the example illustrated, a pair of additional reinforcements 40 is arranged opposite each lateral platform 20. More precisely, the additional reinforcements 40 are distributed two by two around each suction member 24.It is understood that each suction member 24 is thus framed by the two reinforcements 21 and by a pair of additional reinforcements 40. As previously, the additional reinforcements 40 comprise at least one removal of material 107 so that these additional reinforcements 40 do not unnecessarily weigh down the automated device 1. According to the example illustrated here, these removals of material 107 take the form of slots which extend perpendicularly to the axis X of extension of the chassis 14 and to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13. The reinforcement structure set out above is given as an example and any other structure which connects the suction members 24 to the fixing tool 13 may fall within the scope of the present invention.
[0126] The fastening tool 13 is configured to implement the fastening means 9 mentioned above. As previously mentioned, the fastening means 9 implemented by the fastening tool 13 may be nails, screws or staples. Thus, according to a first exemplary embodiment, the fastening tool 13 is a screwdriver, according to a second exemplary embodiment, this fastening tool is a nail gun and finally, according to a third exemplary embodiment, this fastening tool is a stapler. In the present description, the terms “fastening means” are thus used to designate indifferently a nail, a screw or a staple and the term “fastening tool” designates any of the fastening tools which have just been cited.
[0127] In general, this fixing tool 13 extends mainly in the direction Y of extension perpendicular to the plane in which the plates 39 of the chassis 14 extend. The fixing tool 13 comprises at least one fixing head 43 driven by a motor 44, for example an electric motor. As shown in the figure 7 , this fixing head 43 and the motor 44 are carried by a bracket 22 formed of two columns 47 connected to each other by a rear block 45. More particularly, the fixing head 43 and the motor 44 are connected to the rear block 45 of the bracket 22 by two columns 48 which extend parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13.
[0128] As previously mentioned, the automated device 1 according to the invention advantageously comprises two suction members 24. According to the example illustrated in the figures 7 à 9 , these suction members 24 are identical and the description which will be made of one of them is transposable to the other. In the same way, the references carried by one of these suction members 24 on one of the figures 6 à 9 is transposable to the other suction organ 24 of these figures.
[0129] Each suction member 24 thus comprises the plate 39 of the lateral platform 20 by which it is carried and a sealing device 25. This plate 39 and this sealing device 25 delimit a vacuum chamber 26, this sealing device 25, this vacuum chamber 26 and this plate 39 being for example illustrated in the figures 3 and / or 4.
[0130] Each suction member 24 further comprises a means 27 for creating a vacuum in the vacuum chamber 26 controlled by a motor 31, for example an electric motor. This means 27 for creating a vacuum is thus configured to suck in the air present between the automated device 1 and the construction panel against which it is resting, so as to create a vacuum in the vacuum chamber 26 delimited by the sealing device 25 and the plate 39 and thus ensure that the automated device 1 is kept resting against the construction panel that it fixes, regardless of the orientation of the latter. In particular, this vacuum is sufficiently large to allow the automated device 1 to be kept against a ceiling, as for example illustrated in the figure 6 , or against a wall. For example, the means 27 of creating a vacuum is a propeller.
[0131] As shown on the figure 8 , each plate 39 is thus provided with an orifice 28 through which the air is sucked in order to generate the vacuum in the vacuum chamber 26. The plate 39 comprises an outer peripheral strip along which the sealing device 25 is arranged. The space between the plate 39, the construction panel and the sealing device 25 forms the vacuum chamber 26. The longitudinal axis X of the automated device 1 passes through the fixing tool 13 and through the orifice 28 of each plate 39. Advantageously, these plates 39 are made of a flexible and / or deformable material. Thus, when the vacuum chambers 26 of the suction members 24 are depressurized, these plates 39 are configured to deform at least partially so that they come to bear against the construction panel against which the automated device 1 moves. For example, these plates 39 can be made from wooden boards with an average thickness of approximately 3 mm, this thickness being measured parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13 between two opposite faces of the plate 39 concerned. It is understood that these plates 39 can be made from any other material provided that it has sufficient deformability to allow these plates 39 to come to bear against the construction panel.
[0132] The central part 101 of the frame 14 further comprises an opening 103, for example visible on the figure 8 , through which the fixing head 43 of the fixing tool is able to pass. It is understood that it is through this opening 103 that the fixing tool positions one of the fixing means on the construction panel. In other words, this opening 103 allows the fixing tool, and more particularly the fixing head 43 of this fixing tool, to access the construction panel to be fixed.
[0133] This fixing tool 13 advantageously comprises a system for automatic loading of the fixing means 9. According to an example illustrated in the figure 9 , the automatic loading system is a screw collar system. In other words, the automated device 1 thus comprises a screw collar 127 which forms a reserve of screws, so that once in operation, no human intervention is necessary for the automated device 1 to install the fastener. The steps of a fastening method implemented by the automated device 1 according to the invention will be detailed in more detail below.
[0134] It is understood from what has just been described that, in order to operate, the automated device 1 according to the invention must be electrically powered. Thus, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the automated device 1 is connected, for example via an electric wire, to an external power source. According to another embodiment, the automated device 1 comprises an electrical storage device which provides it with the electrical energy it needs. In other words and according to the first embodiment, the automated device 1 is powered by an energy source external to the chassis 14 and according to the other embodiment, this automated device 1 is powered by an energy source internal to this chassis, i.e. carried by it.When the energy source is external, the automated device is limited in its movements only by the dimensions of the electric wire connecting it to this external energy source, whereas when the automated device is powered by an internal energy source, its operating time is limited by the storage capacity of the electrical storage device which provides this power supply.
[0135] The automated device 1 according to the invention is also configured to implement a method of fixing a construction panel, a method of cutting a construction panel or a method of sanding a construction panel.
[0136] There figure 9 is a schematic representation, in section, of the automated device 1 as shown in the figure 6 , that is to say according to a step of this method. This cut is made according to a plane passing through the fixing tool 13 and in which the X axis of extension of the frame 14 and the Y direction of extension of the fixing tool 13 are inscribed.
[0137] We will now describe such a method in detail. First, a plurality of fixing points are defined. For example, a map of the fixing points can be recorded in this automated device 1. Alternatively, the automated device according to the invention can comprise at least one means for detecting these fixing points, i.e. a means for detecting the position of the rails 11 of the frame on which the construction panel concerned is intended to be fixed. The technician who uses this automated device loads the automated device 1 with the fixing means 9 that he considers most suitable, in particular depending on the type of materials used for the construction panel 2 and the rails 11 of the frame on which this construction panel 2 is intended to be fixed. The technician can then place the automated device 1 on the construction panel 2 to be fixed and put this automated device 1 into operation. It is understood that the putting into operation of the automated device is preceded by a manual pre-fixing of the construction panel 2. In other words, the technician fixes part of the fixing means 9 before using the automated device 1. For example, he can position four fixing means at the four corners of the construction panel 2 concerned.
[0138] When the automated device is put into operation, the suction member(s) 24 are put into operation so that they create a vacuum in the vacuum chambers 26. As is particularly visible in the figure 9 , this depression operated in the depression chambers 26 results in a pressing of the plates 39 against the construction panel 2 being fixed. The wheels - not visible on the figure 9 - are then rotated so as to move the automated device 1 to a first fixing point. More precisely, this automated device 1 then moves until the fixing tool 13 is positioned opposite this first fixing point, that is to say opposite a first rail 11 of the frame on which the construction panel 2 concerned is to be fixed.
[0139] The fixing tool 13 is configured to load a fixing means 9 into the fixing tool 13, for example using the automatic loading system with which it is equipped. Once opposite the first rail 11, the fixing tool 13 is configured to implement the fixing means 9 thus loaded so as to fix the construction panel 2. For example, the fixing head 43 of the fixing tool 13 is rotated by the motor 44 of the fixing tool 13. Then, this fixing head 43 slides along the posts 48 of the fixing tool 13, thus exerting a force on the fixing means 9, for example here a screw.
[0140] As illustrated on the figure 9, once implemented, the fixing means 9 thus passes through both the construction panel 2 and the first rail 11 so that these two elements are now integral. Once this fixing means 9 is in position, the fixing head 43 of the fixing tool 13 returns to the initial position where a new fixing means 9 is loaded into the fixing tool 13. Simultaneously or not with this loading of the fixing tool 13, the wheels are again set in rotation so as to move the automated device 1 to the next fixing point, and more precisely so as to move the automated device 1 until the fixing tool 13 is positioned, either opposite another portion of the first rail 11, or opposite a second rail 11, distant from the first rail 11. On the same rail 11, it may for example be provided that two successive fixing means are spaced approximately 300 mm apart.
[0141] It is understood that the suction members 24 must create a depression in the depression chambers 26 sufficiently large to counterbalance a force Fs exerted by the fixing tool 13, when the latter implements the fixing means 9. In other words, the suction members 24 each generate a first force Fa parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13, the sum of these first forces Fa generated by the suction members 24 having to be greater, in absolute value, than a second force Fs generated by the fixing tool 13 when the latter implements one of the fixing means, this second force Fs being exerted in a direction parallel to the direction Y of extension of the fixing tool 13 and in a direction opposite to the direction in which the first forces Fa are exerted.
[0142] The present invention therefore proposes an autonomous robot allowing the fixing of a construction panel regardless of its inclination relative to a horizontal plane. Advantageously, this robot thus makes it possible on the one hand to reduce the time usually required by technicians to carry out such fixing and on the other hand to considerably improve the working conditions of these technicians.
[0143] The invention cannot, however, be limited to the means and configurations exclusively described and illustrated, and also applies to any equivalent means or configurations and to any combination of such means or configurations. In particular, if the invention has been described and illustrated here in the context of a mechanical operation of the type screwing the construction panel onto its support, it applies to any type of mechanical operation to be carried out on such a panel, whatever its nature, whether it is, without limitation, fixing the construction panel, cutting or sanding said construction panel. Similarly, if the invention has been described here in its application to a substantially parallelepiped construction panel, it goes without saying that it applies to any shape and / or size of construction panel.
