Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Compact motorization system, and motorized, vertically opening tilting door assembly incorporating said system Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a compact motorization system which finds an advantageous application for the opening / closing of a tilting door assembly, without this being limiting.
[0002] The present invention also relates to a motorized tilting door assembly for opening, closing, locking and unlocking the door assembly, in particular for garage or box doors, which incorporates said compact motorization system. Prior art
[0003] Document FR3020085 discloses a so-called overhanging tilting door assembly, such as garage doors, in order to adopt an open position or a closed position, providing a small footprint.
[0004] However, this type of assembly is simply manually operated, making their use laborious and inconvenient.
[0005] In addition, there is a garage door assembly comprising a rotary motor called an operator or conveyor fixed to the ceiling, in the axis of the door leaf, in order to carry out the operations of automatic opening and / or closing of the door.
[0006] In practice, it is found that such an assembly is bulky and requires increasing the space available between the garage ceiling and the door frame or apron. In addition, installation requires two operations, one for installing the door, and then one for installing the operator.
[0007] The need for a minimum height to install devices according to the prior art prevents the installation of these assemblies in certain structures, in particular due to lack of space.
[0008] Thus, to address this problem, document CN214303490 proposes installing the motorization driving the apron of the garage or box door parallel to the guide rails between the crosspiece located above the apron, and the crosspiece holding the rails at the rear of the garage door.
[0009] Furthermore, the assembly comprises a rotary motor whose output shaft is positioned horizontally and in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the apron to directly actuate a connecting rod connected to the apron in order to carry out the operations of automatic opening and closing of the apron.
[0010] However, such an assembly has a size that goes beyond the size of the sleepers, so that, due to lack of space, it is impossible to install the assembly.
[0011] In addition, the use of a motorized door assembly requires the installation of a bulky and complex locking and unlocking system which increases the volume and cost of the assembly.
[0012] Furthermore, the opening and closing movements of the door exert a force with too large a lever arm on the motor shaft, reducing its reliability, even more so in the event of an unauthorized opening attempt. Statement of the invention
[0013] One of the aims of the invention is therefore to propose a reliable and compact motorization system, which can in particular be used for opening, closing, locking and unlocking a door, tilting, swinging or sectional, in particular for garage or box doors.
[0014] To this end, a remarkable motorization system has been developed in that it comprises: - a motor driving a worm screw in rotation; - a carriage mounted around the worm screw and tapped so as to be linearly movable by the rotation of the worm screw; the carriage being subject to transmission means intended to drive an axis in rotation.
[0015] In this way, the invention makes it possible to drive an axis in rotation, for example in order to motorize the opening and closing of a door, in a reliable and compact manner.
[0016] The motor is preferably direct current and is reversible, in order to adapt to the specific usage constraints of the doors.
[0017] According to a particular embodiment, the worm screw is coupled to an axis of the motor by a disengageable dog clutch in order to be able to disengage the motor and manually tilt the door.
[0018] For example, the dog clutch is slidably mounted along the worm screw to move from an engaged position in which the worm screw is coupled to the motor shaft, to a disengaged position against a spring.
[0019] According to a particular embodiment, the assembly comprises an unlocking tab positioned between the motor and the worm screw, and movable transversely relative to the worm screw to move from a neutral position to an unlocking position in which the tab pushes the dog clutch into the disengaged position.
[0020] The leg comprises for example a ramp, formed by a projecting or hollow, intended to cooperate with an opposing part connected to a moving part of the dog clutch, so that the transverse movement of the lug causes the dog clutch to move from the engaged position to the disengaged position.
[0021] The transmission means may be of any suitable type, for example they comprise a link, such as a cable or a chain, attached to the carriage and rotatably mounted around two wheels and forming a loop, between the two wheels, around a third wheel integral in rotation with the connecting rod.
[0022] In this way, the rotation of the link around the two wheels causes the rotation of the third wheel and therefore that of the connecting rod for opening or closing the door.
[0023] Advantageously, a second spring is placed at one end of the worm screw opposite the motor, and the worm screw is mounted to slide relative to the upright and in particular in the housing, so that the forced rotational action of the shaft then transmits a force to the carriage which causes the worm screw to slide against the second spring, which causes the dog clutch to disengage.
[0024] In order to have a compact and secure system, the motor, the worm screw, the carriage and the transmission means are integrated into a housing, for example in the form of two half-shells.
[0025] The invention also relates to a motorized tilting door assembly with vertical opening, in particular for a garage or box, which can overcome all of the drawbacks mentioned above in the prior art.
[0026] In particular, the objective of the present invention is to provide a tilting door assembly having the smallest possible size, not exceeding the size of the door frames, while having a reliable, durable and economical mechanical design.
[0027] For this purpose, a motorized, vertically opening tilting door assembly has been developed, comprising: - a first upright and a second upright, between which a door is mounted to move between an open position and a closed position; - means for guiding an upper part of the door along rails extending orthogonally from an upper end of the uprights.
[0028] According to the invention, the assembly comprises a motorization system in accordance with that mentioned above, with the worm screw positioned along and against a rear face of the first upright; and the axis driven in rotation is integral in rotation with a connecting rod connected by a first end to a lower part of the door, so that the actuation of the motor causes the rotation of the connecting rod for the passage from the open position to the closed position.
[0029] In this way, the rotation of the motor causes that of the worm screw and therefore the movement of the carriage. The movement of the carriage causes the rotation of the connecting rod and therefore the opening or closing of the door. Driving a worm screw positioned along and against a rear face of the first upright makes it possible to reduce the overall size of the assembly, and to install it when the available width is reduced.
[0030] Finally, the use of a reduced number of parts and the incorporation of the motorization makes it possible to reduce the overall cost of manufacturing and installing the invention.
[0031] By the expression, "positioned along and against a rear face of the first upright", we mean to designate the fact that the worm screw is positioned vertically and behind the door, on the side of the rails.
[0032] According to a particular embodiment, the door comprises a lock, an actuation of which causes the lateral movement of at least one bar intended to push the tab into the unlocked position, that is to say in which it pushes the dog into the disengaged position.
[0033] Thus, the user can unlock the motor directly and manually from the outside.
[0034] To retain the weight of the door when it is closed, the second end of the connecting rod is connected to a spring system attached to the lower part of the first upright.
[0035] Preferably, the motorization is symmetrical, that is to say that each upright comprises a motorization system at the level of a rear face.
[0036] This allows for movement learning, taking into account the hazards of assembly on the masonry. In particular, one of the two motors carries the control system and is master over the second. It controls the position and force of the latter so that the door presses correctly against its stop.
[0037] In doing so, the two motors contribute to the opening and closing of the door. The two motors and their operations are synchronized via an electronic card. Brief description of the drawings
[0038] Other advantages and characteristics will emerge more clearly from the following description, given by way of non-limiting example, of the device according to the invention, from the appended drawings in which:

[0049] The present invention relates to a reliable and compact motorization system which can find advantageous applications when it is appropriate to involve a rotational movement via a rotary axis, for example for driving a tilting, swinging or sectional door.
[0050] In the remainder of the description, the motorization system is described in a tilting and vertically opening door assembly (1) comprising a first upright (2) and a second upright (3), between which a door (4) is mounted to move between an open position and a closed position.
[0051] In a known manner, and to automate its use, the door (4) comprises a motor (5), in particular a geared motor, driving in rotation a connecting rod (6) connected by a first end to a lower part of the door (4) for the passage from the open position to the closed position, and guide means (7), roller type, of an upper part of the door (4) along rails (8) extending orthogonally from an upper end of the uprights (2, 3).
[0052] The first and second uprights (2, 3) comprise, for example, a U-shaped cross-section. The U-shaped cross-section is oriented inwards, i.e. towards the rear of the door (4) and the rails (8).
[0053] In a known manner, a second end of the connecting rod (6) is connected to a spring system (9) attached to the lower part of the first upright (2) to retain the weight of the door (4) when it is closed.
[0054] In order to reduce the overall size of the assembly (1) according to the invention, the motor (5) is preferably positioned along and against a rear face of the first upright (2), understood on the rail side (8), and in the template of said first upright (2), with an output shaft (5a) oriented vertically and along the upright (2).
[0055] Thus, such an assembly (1) is suitable for installation when the available width is reduced.
[0056] Having the output shaft (5a) located in the extension of the upright makes it possible to reduce the risk of breakage of the motor (5) during attempts at forced manual opening.
[0057] Preferably, the first upright (2) and the second upright (3) comprise the same operating elements, which creates bilaterality. In other words, the elements of one upright are found on the other upright, in a paired manner.
[0058] In this configuration, the first upright (2) comprises a first motor (5) and the second upright (3) comprises a second motor (5). The same applies to the assembly (1) of elements, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2. In this configuration, the two motors (5) are synchronized by an electronic card.
[0059] To facilitate the description which follows, only one engine (5) will be described.
[0060] According to the design underlying the invention, and with reference to Figures 5 and 6, the motor (5) rotates a worm screw (10) positioned along and against a rear face of the first upright (2), which does not impact the overall size.
[0061] The assembly (1) also comprises a carriage (11) mounted around the worm screw (10) and tapped so as to be linearly movable by the rotation of the worm screw (10).
[0062] The carriage (11) is subject to transmission means (12) intended to drive in rotation an axis integral in rotation with the connecting rod (6), so that the movement of the carriage (11) causes the rotation of the connecting rod (6).
[0063] Preferably, and with reference to figures 3, 4 and 5, the motor (5), the worm screw (10), the carriage (11) and the transmission means (12), are integrated in a housing (13) fixed to the upright (2), for example in the form of two half-shells.
[0064] This makes it possible to obtain a compact and reliable motorization system. The motor is preferably direct current and is reversible.
[0065] According to the illustrated embodiment, the transmission means (12) comprise a link (14), such as a cable or a chain, attached to the carriage (11) and rotatably mounted around two wheels (15). The link (14) also forms a loop (16), between the two wheels (15), around a third wheel (17) integral in rotation with the connecting rod (6).
[0066] Thus, the rotation of the motor (5) causes the rotation of the third wheel (17) and the connecting rod (6), which causes the door (4) to open or close depending on the direction of rotation of the motor (5).
[0067] In order to be able to disengage the engagement between the worm screw (10) and the motor (5), in particular to be able to manually tilt the door (4), the worm screw (10) is coupled to an axis of the motor (5) by a disengageable dog clutch (18).
[0068] With reference to [Fig.8], the dog clutch (18) comprises two coaxial parts under the forms two sleeves with teeth or notches, intended to engage in rotation with each other. A first sleeve with teeth (19a) is integral in rotation with the axis of the motor (5), and is in particular coaxial with it, and a second sleeve with teeth (19b) is integral in rotation with the worm screw (10) and is also coaxial with it.
[0069] The second toothed sleeve (19b) of the dog clutch (18) is slidably mounted along the worm screw (10) to move from an engagement position in which it is engaged with the first toothed sleeve (19a) so that the worm screw (10) is coupled to the motor shaft (5), to a disengaged position, spaced from the first toothed sleeve (19a), against a spring (20). The spring (20) is in abutment on the one hand against the second sleeve (19b) and on the other hand against a fixed flange (21) positioned around the worm screw (10).
[0070] The disengagement of the dog clutch (18) can be carried out by means of an unlocking tab (22) positioned between the motor (5) and the worm screw (10), and movable transversely relative to the worm screw (10) to move from a neutral position to an unlocking position in which the tab (22) pushes the dog clutch (18) into the disengaged position.
[0071] With reference to Figures 7 and 8, in particular, the tab (22) comprises a ramp (23), formed by a hollow part in the illustrated embodiment. The hollow part is intended to cooperate with an opposing part (24) connected to the movable part of the dog clutch (18) formed by the second toothed sleeve (19b).
[0072] The opposing part (24), illustrated in [Fig.7], and part of which is hidden in [Fig.8] comprises a projecting shoulder or rib (25) engaged in a complementary groove (26) formed in the second toothed sleeve (19b) of the dog clutch (18) so as to be integral in sliding.
[0073] Furthermore, this opposing part (24) comprises an opposite end, here rounded, intended to be housed in the hollow shape of the tab (22) when it is in the neutral position. Thus, the transverse movement of the tab (22), for example manually from the inside, pushes against the spring (20) the opposing part (24) engaged with the second sleeve (19b) of the dog clutch (18), which causes the dog clutch (18) to move from the engaged position to the disengaged position, and then makes it possible to manually tilt the door (4). In this way, the user can unlock the motor directly and manually from the inside.
[0074] It is also possible to operate the unlocking tab (22) from the outside. For this purpose, the door (4) comprises a lock (27), see [Fig.l], the actuation of which causes the lateral movement of at least one bar (28), and here two (one for unlocking the dog (18) on each side) intended to push the tab (22) into the unlocking position. The tab (22) is returned to the locking position manually, with the door open.
[0075] The other mode of disengagement is unidirectional when closing the door (4). A second spring (29) is placed at one end of the worm screw (10) opposite the motor (5). The manual action of closing the door (4) by the user forces the rotation of the axis and then transmits a force to the carriage (11) which causes the worm screw (10) to slide downwards and the compression of this second spring (29) against a second flange (30), which at the same time causes the dog clutch (18) to disengage.
[0076] In order to avoid manual disengagement when closing the door (4), a damping system (31) is positioned between two ends of the link (14), so that a force exerted to separate the two ends of the link (14) is exerted against the damping system (31). Thus, when the door (4) is closed manually in order to disengage the dog clutch (18), it is first necessary to compress the damping system to cause the movement of the carriage (11) and slide the worm screw (10) against the spring (29).
[0077] As indicated above, the assembly (1) according to the invention preferably comprises a motor (5) on each side, at the level of each upright (2, 3) so that a second motor (5), a second endless screw (10), a second carriage (11) and second transmission means (12) are also positioned, in a second housing (13), at the level of a rear face of the second upright (3).
[0078] It is clear from the above that the invention provides a reliable and compact motorization system, and a motorized, vertically opening tilting door (4) assembly (1) which is compact, requiring a limited number of parts, which reduces the cost of manufacturing, installation and maintenance of such an assembly (1).
