Reinforcement material for H-shaped steel

Abstract

This article is a reinforcement material for H-shaped steel used in buildings, civil engineering works, etc., which is joined with fasteners such as bolts to improve the earthquake resistance of the buildings, civil engineering works, etc. In particular, for an H-shaped steel that is assembled with a beam of a building such as a passenger shed and used as a column of the building, the article has a portion joined to the underside of the beam and a portion joined to one side of the upper part of the web of the H-shaped steel. As shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, a pair of this article is prepared and joined to both sides of the H-shaped steel web for use.
