Abstract

As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Usage State as Seen from the Front" and the "Reference Perspective View Diagram Showing an Enlarged View of the Main Part in Use State," the article "holding device" relating to the present design can be used, for example, as a level band to hold piping (such as a drain pipe) at a predetermined height by a holding part that moves in the axial direction of a pair of left and right bolts provided on a base plate fixed to the ceiling, guided by the bolts. The holding part includes a main body that is movable in the axial direction of the bolts, guided by the pair of left and right bolts, a pair of left and right sliding parts that move back and forth between a state in which they engage with the screw grooves on the outer surface of the bolts and a state in which they do not engage, and a cable tie that is detachably attached to the main body. The base plate and bolts are made of metal, and the holding part is made of synthetic resin. Hollow, roughly rectangular tubular guided parts are provided on the left and right sides of the main body of the holding part (Reference Figure 1), and when the sliding part is inserted into the guided part, the engagement groove eventually engages with the screw groove on the outer surface of the bolt, making it impossible to raise or lower the holding part (Reference Figures 2-5). This state is maintained by the locking claws of the sliding part engaging with the claw grooves of the guided part. To ensure more secure retention, the lock pin can be removed from the sliding part and inserted into the notches on the front and rear of the guided part and the through holes in the sliding part (see Figures 6 and 7). On the other hand, when the lock pin is not inserted into the notches and through holes, the sliding part can be moved in the direction of being pulled out from the guided part, and once the engagement groove no longer engages with the screw groove on the outer surface of the bolt, the holding part can be raised and lowered. The sliding part will not come out of the holding part completely because it comes into contact with the edge of the notch of the guided part through the retaining projection of the sliding part. The cable tie can be attached to the main body by passing it through the left and right through holes that penetrate the main body in the inward and outward (up and down) direction, so that when the cable tie is made into a loop, a part of the loop passes on the outside (bottom) side of the lower part of the main body (see Figures 8 to 11). In addition, by attaching an attachment to the holding part, it is possible to hold smaller diameter pipes with better stability (see Figure 12). In addition, the holder can be installed by fixing the base plate to the ceiling as described above, but it can also be installed by fixing the base plate to the wall and extending horizontally from the wall.
