Abstract

To provide a turbine casing which is suppressed in thermal deformation.SOLUTION: The turbine casing comprises a lower half casing and an upper half casing which house a turbine rotor. Each of the lower half casing and the upper half casing has a lower diametrically reduced portion and an upper diametrically reduced portion in each of which the outer diameter become smaller as extending to one side in the axial direction, of the turbine rotor. The turbine casing further comprises a pair of lower protruded arms protruded from the lower diametrically reduced portion to one side and arranged side by side across the turbine rotor in plan view, and a pair of upper protruded arms protruded from the upper diametrically reduced portion to one side, and arranged side by side across the turbine rotor in plan view and supported by a support base. The pair of upper protruded arms are arranged between the pair of lower protruded arms in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
