Abstract

To prevent a temperature of exhaust from rising upon co-combusting first fuel including ammonia and second fuel not including ammonia.SOLUTION: There is provided a boiler system 100 comprising a boiler 10, a first fuel supply system 210 supplying a first burner 210A with ammonia fuel, a second fuel supply system supplying a second burner with solid fuel, a first heat exchanger 221 exchanging heat between exhaust discharged from the boiler 10 and a heat medium, a second heat exchanger 222 exchanging heat between exhaust having passed through a desulfurization unit 224 and the heat medium heated by the first heat exchanger 221, an ammonia evaporator 231, a first circulation system 240 circulating the heat medium between the first heat exchanger 221 and the second heat exchanger 222, and a second circulation system 250 circulating the heat medium between the first heat exchanger 221 and the ammonia evaporator 231. The ammonia evaporator 231 cools the heat medium flowing in the second circulation system 250, by exchanging heat with liquid ammonia fuel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
