Abstract
To provide a polyamic acid aqueous dispersion with superior storage stability.SOLUTION: Water is added to a polyamic acid solution containing polyamic acid, a basic compound, and an organic solvent, thereby inducing phase inversion emulsification to generate polyamic acid particles. This process produces a polyamic acid aqueous dispersion. Furthermore, medium replacement may be performed to reduce the content of the organic solvent. The polyamic acid aqueous dispersion is applied to a substrate and heat-treated, thereby producing a polyimide coating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
