Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a film roll formed by winding a film that is particularly suitable for horizontal recycling. [Background technology]
[0002] Films are used in a variety of fields, including packaging for food and medicine, and components for electronic devices. Films discarded after use can cause environmental pollution, and so recycling is required. However, film recycling has a problem with traceability of the recycling process. It may not be clear whether recycled films are used in other products that use recycled products as raw materials. In addition, it is difficult to know at what stage of the recycling process a recycled product was made, which can make product quality control difficult. For this reason, quality control by adding identification information to films has been considered.
[0003] Regarding product identification information, a technique has been disclosed in which a label with a barcode is attached to the product packaging (see, for example, Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-87450 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] Incidentally, even if identification information is added to the packaging of a film, which is generally a long object, the film is unwrapped and unwound from the roll, and then used or processed. In this case, if the long film breaks midway or is wound into multiple film rolls, there is a possibility that the information on the film roll will become untraceable.
[0006] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a film roll that allows identification information to be confirmed even after the film has been post-processed or crushed, thereby ensuring traceability. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] As a result of intensive research in view of the above, the present inventors have found that the above problem can be solved by incorporating identification information of the film in the manufacturing process, thereby facilitating sorting. That is, a preferred embodiment of the present invention is as follows.
[0008] (1) A film roll having a width of 400 mm or more wound up, the film roll having identification information on the surface of the film that enables the processing history of the film to be read.
[0009] (2) The film roll according to (1), characterized in that identification information is provided in an area of the film that is 0% to 25% of the total width of the film from at least one widthwise end of the film.
[0010] (3) The film roll according to (1) or (2), characterized in that identification information is provided to the outermost end of the surface layer of the film roll and / or the outermost end of the core.
[0011] (4) The film roll according to any one of (1) to (3), wherein the identification information is expressed by a two-dimensional code or a barcode.
[0012] (5) The film roll according to any one of claims (1) to (3), wherein the identification information is formed by crystallizing the film.
[0013] (6) The film roll according to any one of (1) to (4), wherein the identification information has low visibility and is printed on the entire surface of the film.
[0014] (7) The film roll according to any one of (1) to (6), characterized in that the identification information includes at least information indicating the material of the film, the thickness of the film, a production lot number, and a method of applying the identification information and the number of times the identification information has been applied.
[0015] (8) The film roll according to any one of (1) to (7), wherein the film is made of polyester.
[0016] (9) The film roll according to any one of (1) to (8), wherein the film has a width of 400 mm or more.
[0017] (10) A method for manufacturing a film roll, comprising the steps of: generating, using an information processing terminal, identification information from which at least "the material of the film, the thickness of the film, the production lot number, the printing method used, and the number of prints" can be read; and printing the generated identification information onto the film. Effect of the Invention
[0018] According to the present invention, the identification information can be confirmed even after the film has been post-processed or crushed, ensuring traceability. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0020] The present invention will now be described in further detail.
[0021] A preferred embodiment of the present invention is a film roll having identification information on the surface of the film, which makes it easier to separate films when recycling, particularly when horizontal recycling is performed.
[0022] Horizontal recycling in this invention refers to collecting used or unused products or parts (which would normally be discarded) to be recycled and returning them to the same original product. Synonymous terms include recycling and circular recycling.
[0023] In the present invention, for example, a release polyester film for molding a dielectric material of a multilayer ceramic capacitor will be described with reference to Fig. 1. Fig. 1 is a diagram for explaining the concept of horizontal recycling in the present invention. First, a polyester film 1 is manufactured at a film manufacturing base, and a release polyester film 2 is obtained by appropriately performing processing such as release processing at a converter, or the release polyester film 2 is obtained by processing at the film manufacturing base. After that, the release polyester film 2 is shipped to a user, and the user forms a dielectric material of a multilayer ceramic capacitor as an inorganic layer on the release polyester film 2. After that, the inorganic layer is peeled off from the release polyester film 2 in the surplus film forming material that was not shipped as a film forming material. The release polyester film 3 after this peeling is a film that is not used in the product manufactured by the user and remains, and corresponds to the film to be recycled. This release polyester film 3 to be recycled or a part of it is appropriately processed at a recycling processing base, for example, into a finely cut granular recycled raw material 4. This recycled raw material 4 is used to newly manufacture a recycled polyester film (polyester film 1) at a polyester film manufacturing base. During this recycling, the polyester film is appropriately processed, etc. to manufacture a polyester film 1 containing recycled raw materials that exhibit physical properties suitable for forming a dielectric material of a multilayer ceramic capacitor, thereby achieving horizontal recycling. In the above example, a new recycled polyester film (polyester film 1) is produced, but if the film produced is not to be used as a dielectric material for multilayer ceramic capacitors, it is not horizontal recycling but simple recycling or one-way recycling. The polyester film 1 is transported between bases in the form of a roll (hereinafter also referred to as a film roll) in which the film is wound around a core.
[0024] (Embodiment) A preferred embodiment of the present invention described above will be described with reference to Figs. 2 and 3, taking a release polyester film for forming the dielectric material of the multilayer ceramic capacitor as an example. Fig. 2 is a conceptual diagram showing peeling of an inorganic material from a laminate having a polyester film and an inorganic material, according to an example of a method for producing a recycled polyester film in the present invention. Fig. 3 is a conceptual diagram of a recycled polyester film according to an example of a method for producing a recycled polyester film in the present invention. A laminate 5 (film forming material) in which a dielectric material (inorganic layer 7) is laminated on a release polyester film 2 (see Fig. 2(a)) is subjected to a peeling process to obtain a peeled release polyester film 3 and a dielectric material (inorganic layer 7) of a multilayer ceramic capacitor (see Fig. 2(b)). The release polyester film 2 is formed by laminating a coating layer 6 on a polyester film 1. The dielectric material (inorganic layer 7) of the multilayer ceramic capacitor contains an inorganic material. The coating layer 6 is washed from the peeled release polyester film 3 (see FIG. 3) as necessary, and then cut and remelted as necessary to form particles, to obtain chips that constituted a part 8 of the polyester film 1 (see FIG. 3). Then, new polyester resin raw material 9 is added to these chips as necessary, and the chips are molded into a film by melt extrusion or the like to obtain a recycled polyester film 10. At this time, by providing identification information to the film surface during the process of producing the recycled polyester film, it becomes possible to know from the film itself what process the recycled polyester film 10 was made through. Here, it is not impossible to determine what processes a recycled polyester film has undergone by affixing labels to recycled products and managing them appropriately; however, when a long film is broken along the way or cut into smaller rolls to form multiple film rolls, it is possible that the information on the film roll cannot be traced. In addition, there are cases where it becomes impossible to determine the process due to incorrect labeling during complex processes. Therefore, if the product itself contains history information about the processes it has undergone up to that point, it will be possible to easily carry out sorting work with peace of mind.
[0025] A preferred embodiment of the present invention is a film roll having a width of 400 mm or more, and having identification information on the film surface. With reference to FIG. 4, an example of having identification information on the film surface will be described. FIG. 4 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of a film roll having identification information provided in the region of the width direction end. The film surface does not refer to the roll surface when the film is wound into a roll, but refers to the surface of the front and / or back surface of the film when the rolled film is unwound. The surface here refers to the surface opposite to the side of the film that was previously wound during winding (i.e., the film on the winding core side).
[0026] The identification information referred to here is information that can be read by a detector or the like to determine the processing history of the components of the film roll 11 and the route they were taken to produce them. This information is necessary for a person, a reading device attached to the processing machine, or a detector to recognize and separate the roll (film) when it is processed.
[0027] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the identification information is provided in an area D2 of 0% to 25% of the total widthwise length D1 from at least one widthwise end of the film. When the identification information 12 is provided in the 0% area, the end of the identification information 12 is located at the edge of the film in the widthwise direction. Here, the end of the film roll 11 in the widthwise direction refers to the end on the left and right side of the film roll 11 when the film roll 11 is unwound. That is, the film width direction (hereinafter, sometimes simply referred to as the width direction) refers to the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the film (the direction perpendicular to the widthwise direction and along the direction in which the film is wound / unwound) with respect to the surface of the film. In the film roll 11, the end becomes an uncoated portion that is not coated when advanced processing such as coating is performed, so it is a preferred embodiment to provide the above-mentioned identification information 12 to the end of the film in the widthwise direction. A plurality of identification information 12 is provided along the longitudinal direction of the film. Each identification information 12 is arranged at a preset interval. The identification information 12 is arranged at intervals, for example, 100 mm intervals, such that at least one of the identification information is exposed on the roll surface when the film is rewound by one roll. If the identification information 12 is provided at the relevant locations, when a portion including the identification information is broken in the longitudinal direction, even if multiple small rolls are generated, the identification information on the small roll is not likely to be lost, and traceability can be ensured, which is preferable. Note that, in the width direction of the film, it is sufficient that the identification information 12 is printed in the region D2 from at least one end, but as shown in FIG. 4, the identification information 12 may be provided in the region D2 from both ends. In this case, it is preferable that the identification information 12 is not provided except in the region D2 from 0% to 25% from the end in order to maintain a good roll shape.
[0028] The uncoated end portion varies depending on the processing step, but is provided on various film rolls. The identification information 12 is preferably provided in an area of 0% to 25% of the total length in the width direction from the end of the film in the width direction, more preferably in an area of 0% to 2.5%, and even more preferably in an area of 0% to 1.25%. The identification information 12 can be provided within a range that does not affect the yield.
[0029] The identification information in the present invention is not limited to identification information provided by a printing method, but also includes providing identification information on a film by heat embossing, laser engraving, etc., which will be described later. One embodiment is providing identification information 12 on a recycled film intermediate product by an inkjet printing device.
[0030] Another example of a method for manufacturing a film roll to which identification information 12 is applied will be described with reference to FIG. 5. FIG. 5 is a conceptual diagram showing another example of a film roll to which identification information is applied in the region of the widthwise end. In the example shown in FIG. 5, the identification information 12 is applied to the film rolls 11 generated from the recycled film intermediate product 13 by the inkjet printing device 14. At this time, the inkjet printing device 14 prints the identification information 12 on the film base material constituting the recycled film intermediate product 13 according to the size of the film roll 11. Thereafter, the recycled film intermediate product 13 is cut so that the identification information 12 is arranged in the above-mentioned region in the width direction of the film, thereby obtaining two film rolls 11 to which the identification information 12 is applied from the recycled film intermediate product 13. At this time, the identification information 12 is separately applied to the longitudinal end of the film by the inkjet printing device 14 or another inkjet printing device.
[0031] Furthermore, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, it is a further preferred embodiment that the identification information is provided at the end of the surface layer part and / or the end of the core part of the film roll. The end of the surface layer part and the end of the core part of the film roll refer to the end of the film in the longitudinal direction when the rolled film is unwound, and are on different sides. The surface layer part corresponds to one turn when the product is unwound, and the core part corresponds to one turn wrapped around the core. These parts are often areas that are not harvested as products when advanced processing is performed. For this reason, it is preferable to provide the identification information 12 at the relevant locations, since it is possible to trace the history of the film roll before and after its use. From the same viewpoint, it is more preferable that the identification information 12 is provided at the surface layer part or the core part for one turn or more and within 50 m, and it is even more preferable that the identification information 12 is provided at the surface layer part or the core part for one turn or more and within 10 m. In this case, for example, the arrangement area D3 of the identification information 12 at the outermost end of the surface layer portion is an area determined by a length equivalent to the arrangement area (area D2) of the identification information 12 in the width direction relative to the outermost end of the longitudinal direction of the film. The same is true for the outermost end of the core portion, but the arrangement area of the identification information 12 at the outermost end of the surface layer portion and the arrangement area of the identification information 12 at the outermost end of the core portion may be the same or different from each other. It is also possible to adopt a configuration in which the identification information 12 is not provided on the surface layer portion of the film roll and / or on the extreme end portion of the core portion.
[0032] In the present invention, the identification information 12 is preferably a two-dimensional code or a barcode as shown in Fig. 4. Two-dimensional codes and barcodes are used in a wide range of applications, and have a simple information recording format such as black and white or light and dark contrast, so there are few reading errors. For this reason, they are a preferred format for the identification information 12. The identification information 12 can also be character information, color, or an RF-ID tag.
[0033] In the present invention, it is a more preferred embodiment that the identification information 12 has low visibility that is invisible or difficult for humans to see, and is printed on the entire surface of the film. By providing the identification information 12 that is invisible to humans over the entire width of the film, the possibility of reading the identification information 12 even from the film after it has been cut is increased, which is more preferred. As described above, the identification information 12 is provided using black and white or light and dark contrast, but since this information may be confused with defects on the film that can be seen with the naked eye, it is more preferable that the identification information is invisible to humans. In addition, when providing the invisible identification information 12 to the film, it is preferable to provide the identification information 12 at a position across the entire width of the film, since this increases the probability that the identification information 12 will remain on the film even after the film is cut. "Not visible to the naked eye" means that the object cannot be seen by the naked eye of a person with normal vision at a distance of 500 mm in the following environments, for example, natural light, fluorescent light, white light, and reflected light and transmitted light under LED light.
[0034] Identification information that cannot be confirmed by the naked eye can be made visible, for example, by shining a black light (high-frequency ultraviolet light) on it, but it is also possible to use so-called invisible ink that cannot be seen under the aforementioned environments.
[0035] In the present invention, it is preferable that the identification information 12 includes at least information on the film material, film thickness, production lot number, method of providing the identification information, and number of times the identification information has been provided. More preferably, the identification information 12 includes the ID at the base station, the issue date, a consecutive number in the horizontal recycling system, the film variety (type name), the manufacturing plant, the width and length of the film roll, the type of packaging material, the material of the core, and the next destination of the film roll, thereby ensuring even more detailed traceability.
[0036] That is, a preferred embodiment of the film roll manufacturing method of the present invention is a method for manufacturing a film roll that includes a step of generating, using an information processing terminal, identification information 12 that can read at least "film material, film thickness, production lot number, identification information applying method used, and number of times of application," and a step of applying the generated identification information to the film. Furthermore, it is preferable to generate and apply identification information that can also read "sequential number in the horizontal recycling system, film variety (type name), manufacturing plant, width and length of the film roll, type of packaging material, core material, and next destination of the film roll."
[0037] In the present invention, the film can be formed from various materials, for example, resins, but is preferably made of polyester. A film roll made of polyester has good processability for printing, heat embossing, and laser engraving. In addition, a film roll made of polyester has excellent processability, so it can be used in a wide range of applications. A film roll made of polyester is a preferred embodiment of the present invention because it can secure a material amount for recycling. In addition to the above-mentioned printing, the identification information 12 may be provided by crystallizing the film. "Crystallizing the film" refers to providing light and dark information to the film by applying heat to the film and raising the temperature of the film to a crystallization temperature or higher. The method of raising the temperature of the film to a crystallization temperature or higher can be carried out by a known method, but preferably includes heat embossing and a crystallization method by laser engraving. Heat embossing is a method of crystallizing the film surface by heating a plate with a pre-formed unevenness and bringing it into contact with the film. In this case, the unevenness can be changed according to the pattern of the identification information. Laser engraving is a crystallization technique in which a high-energy laser is focused on the surface or inner surface of a film to crystallize the film. These methods are preferred because they can reduce the possibility that the identification information will peel off during the cleaning process. They can also lead to a reduction in the generation of foreign matter originating from the identification information portion during recycling. For the same reason, and from the viewpoint of minimizing the effect on the surface properties of the film, it is even more preferred that the identification information 21 is provided on the inner surface of the film (the inner layer of the film) by laser engraving. Even when the identification information is provided on the inner surface of the film, the identification information can be read from the surface of the film by a detector or the like, and is included in the "identification information provided on the film surface" as a mode of providing the identification information.
[0038] In the present invention, it is preferable that the difference in haze between the portion to which the identification information 12 is applied and the portion to which the identification information 12 is not applied is 10% or more, since this makes it easier to detect the identification information. The haze is determined in accordance with JIS K7136 (2000). In this embodiment, the difference in haze is more preferably 20% or more, and even more preferably 30% or more. It is also preferable that the difference in surface roughness (arithmetic mean roughness: SRa, a three-dimensional extension of the arithmetic mean roughness of JIS B0601 (2001)) between the portion to which the identification information 12 is applied and the portion to which the identification information 12 is not applied is 1000 nm or more. The haze value is higher in the portion to which the identification information 12 is applied.
[0039] Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable to provide identification information, more preferably barcode information, in addition to printing on the film roll itself. For example, by printing identification information on the product label, traceability can be ensured at the time of shipping and delivery and before product processing. It is also preferable to provide identification information on packing materials such as pallets or containers. Basically, pallets or containers and film roll products are associated with each other and have a one-to-one correspondence, so by linking them with label information, it becomes easier to ensure traceability. It is also preferable to provide identification information on the film winding core for the above reasons.
[0040] Here, an example of the contents of the identification information between each base will be described with reference to FIG. 6. FIG. 6 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of the contents of the identification information at each base. Note that FIG. 6 uses information included in a two-dimensional code, which is the identification information, as an example. First, a film manufactured at a film manufacturing base is given identification information including the barcode ID of the film manufacturing base, the issue date of the identification information, the type of the film (including the material and thickness), the film production series of the film, and the lot number. Then, a film processed at a converter is given identification information including the barcode ID of the converter, the issue date of the identification information, the company name of the converter, the type of the converter (coating layer), and the barcode ID of the film manufacturing base. Then, a film processed at a user is given identification information including the barcode ID of the user, the issue date of the identification information, the company name of the user, identification information of the waste type, the barcode ID of the film manufacturing base, and the barcode ID of the converter. After that, the processed film at the recycling processing base is given identification information including the barcode ID of the recycling processing base, the issue date of the identification information, the company name of the recycling processing base, the identification information of the scrap type, the barcode ID of the film manufacturing base, the barcode ID of the converter, and the barcode ID of the user. After that, the film produced including the chips returned to the film manufacturing base is given identification information including the barcode ID of the film manufacturing base, the issue date of the identification information, the type of the film, the film production series of the film, the lot number, the barcode ID of the recycling processing base, and the method and number of times the identification information is given. Note that the identification information at the recycling processing base is given, for example, to the bag in which the chips are stored. Also, the types of information shown in FIG. 6 are only an example. In this way, by transferring the identification information including the above-mentioned information to the next handling location, it becomes possible for workers at the film manufacturing site to understand the processing route of the film (chip) when it is recycled at the film manufacturing site. At each site, for example, the identification information is read when the item is received, identification information corresponding to the site is generated, and the generated identification information is added after processing. At this time, the identification information is transmitted to an external server or the like as necessary.
[0041] In the present invention, it is preferable that the identification information 12 includes all of the identification information generated in the previous process.
[0042] Here, as one aspect of information management, there is a mode in which identification information is managed by adding information at each base in a blockchain. FIG. 7 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of processing identification information in a blockchain. For example, identification information 15 is information given to a film manufactured at a film manufacturing base. Also, identification information 16 is generated at a converter, identification information 17 is generated at a user, and identification information 18 is generated at a recycling processing base. The identification information generated at each base is, for example, the information shown in FIG. 6. At this time, in addition to identification information 15, the film manufacturing base acquires identification information 16-18 from each base and generates film management information 19 related to the film by linking identification information 15-18. When converter identification information 16 is handed over to a user, converter information is added to user identification information 17. Furthermore, converter and user information is added to recycling processing base identification information 18. These indicate that redundant history information is added as a label along with logistics, and by unraveling the chain of this information, history can be traced. This blockchain-based identification information will be passed on and updated as long as the film roll continues to be recycled. Note that at bases other than the film manufacturing base, the identification information passed on to the next base may be different from the information each base sends to the film manufacturing base, and disclosure / non-disclosure to bases other than the film manufacturing base may be controlled depending on the type of information between bases.
[0043] When processing is performed by blockchain, information is shared between two locations that exchange information in the course of logistics, and through peer-to-peer connections between the film manufacturing location and each location, and the information is accumulated and traceability information is managed, making it possible to track the history of the film. For example, in FIG. 7, when the converter's identification information 16 is handed over to the user, the converter's information is added to the user's identification information 17, and the identification information 17 is also sent to the film manufacturing location at the same time. That is, each time logistics occurs, the film manufacturing location accumulates identification information for each location in chronological order. At this time, the converter does not receive the identification information of other locations sent in this logistics. That is, in this case, only the film manufacturing location can grasp the overall picture of the circular recycling. There is no room for counterfeit labels to enter these circular recycling systems, and if counterfeit information is circulated, it will be discovered by checking with the recycling processing location, or inconsistencies will occur in the blockchain-enhanced information, and in either case, the counterfeiting will be discovered. This allows for favorable counterfeiting measures to be taken. Furthermore, it is preferable that the identification information is encrypted, and it is even more preferable that the encryption be decipherable only by the two parties who circulate the identification information.
[0044] These identification information are preferable because confidential information about the product is shared only with limited parties by sharing information between two sites that exchange identification information during logistics, and between the film manufacturing site and each site through peer-to-peer connections. Converters and users both have multiple suppliers and customers, and they may be in an adversarial relationship. This is a preferable form of management in terms of product confidentiality, since the system does not allow the entire picture of trace information to be grasped even if only one piece of identification information is read. Furthermore, the number of times that the chips to be recycled are circulated can be quantified, so it is possible to determine the upper limit of the number of times they can be recycled and to implement measures to increase the recycle resistance at the appropriate time, such as adding a chain extender to restore the function of the polymer.
[0045] From the above viewpoint, a preferred embodiment of the information processing method for a film to which identification information has been added is to use the identification information on the surface of the film, incorporate it all into the identification information generated in the previous process, and share the information between two bases that exchange identification information during logistics and between the film production base and each base through a peer-to-peer connection, and to accumulate the identification information and manage the traceability information. Also, by using the traceability information collected at the film production base, the mixing ratio of recycled chips and the combination of chip usage lots can be designed, thereby maintaining stable product quality.
[0046] As another aspect of information management, the identification information is managed in a centralized manner at the film manufacturing base. At this time, the identification information is stored and updated in a server at the film manufacturing base. FIG. 8 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of information processing when the identification information is managed in a centralized manner at the film manufacturing base. The film management information 20 relating to the history of the film includes information given to the film manufactured at the film manufacturing base, and includes identification information for each base according to the flow of the film. In this aspect, the film manufacturing base is connected to the converter, the user, and the recycling processing base so that they can communicate with each other. That is, the converter, the user, and the recycling processing base each communicate only with the film manufacturing base and transmit the identification information to the film manufacturing base. Specifically, the identification information 16 generated at the converter, the identification information 17 generated by the user, and the identification information 18 generated at the recycling processing base are each transmitted to the film manufacturing base. The film manufacturing base generates and manages the film management information 20 including the identification information generated at the film manufacturing base and the identification information 16 to 18 acquired from each base. In this case, for example, a base other than the film manufacturing base may know the film's production lot number and the method and number of times the identification information has been assigned from the identification information assigned to the film received from the previous base, and the film manufacturing base may transmit identification information including the above information and information related to its own base to the film manufacturing base. Note that the identification information assigned to the film between bases other than the film manufacturing base may include the above-mentioned film's production lot number and the method and number of times the identification information has been assigned, and a common identification information may be assigned to the film.
[0047] In this centralized management, the film manufacturing site manages the film processing history and the like by updating and maintaining the film management information 20. In this case, regardless of the success or failure of the exchange of information between sites, it becomes possible to check the film history at the film manufacturing site. In addition, at locations other than the film manufacturing site, the identification information for attaching to the film that is passed on to the next location can be different from the information that each location sends to the film manufacturing site, and disclosure / non-disclosure to locations other than the film manufacturing site can be controlled between locations depending on the type of information.
[0048] A more preferred embodiment is that the method of ensuring traceability using identification information shown in the present invention is applied to horizontal recycling for multilayer ceramic capacitors. In the supply chain for multilayer ceramic capacitors, where advanced technology is integrated, there are only a limited number of processing bases (processing companies) that can meet the technical requirements. In horizontal recycling for multilayer ceramic capacitors, there are no elements that make it difficult to identify the source of scrap, such as in the recycling of PET bottles, and it is a circulation system involving relatively "known" processing bases. These circulation systems of a moderate scale are the horizontal recycling system for multilayer ceramic capacitors, and are therefore further optimal embodiments.
[0049] According to this embodiment, identification information is provided in an area D2 that is 0% to 25% of the total widthwise length D1 from at least one widthwise end of the film, so that the identification information can be confirmed even after the film has been post-processed or crushed, ensuring traceability.
[0050] In addition, the horizontal recycling of the film described above may include other processing sites. For example, a slurry peeling site may be interposed between the user and the recycling processing site.
[0051] (Other embodiments) Fig. 9 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of packaging with identification information added to the product label. Fig. 9 shows a state in which a rod-shaped film winding core 21 is inserted into a film roll 11, and the film roll 11 and the film winding core 21 are covered with a packaging polytube 23. A product label 22 is attached to the packaging polytube 23 (see Fig. 9(a)). The product label 22 is attached to the surface of the packaging polytube 23, for example, by using packaging tape 24 used for packaging the packaging polytube 23 and the like. A two-dimensional barcode is added to the product label 22 as identification information. This two-dimensional barcode is printed, for example, by an inkjet method.
[0052] Furthermore, when a second packing polytube 25 is provided to cover the packing polytube 23, identification information may be provided on the management label 26 attached to the surface of the second packing polytube 25 (see FIG. 9(b)). This identification information is, for example, a two-dimensional barcode, and is printed, for example, by an inkjet method.
[0053] Furthermore, by attaching a similar barcode-printed sticker to a pallet or container on which the film roll 11 is loaded, traceability information can also be provided to the packing materials.
[0054] Identification information may also be provided to the film winding core 21. Fig. 10 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of providing identification information to the end of a film winding core. As shown in Fig. 10, a sticker with a barcode printed thereon is affixed to the end face of the film winding core 21. Here, the "end face" refers to the surface of the film winding core 21, the surface of the longitudinal end that is connected to the side face around which the film roll 11 is wound, and the surface that is exposed when the film roll 11 is wound around it.
[0055] By reading the identification information given in the manner shown in FIG. 9 or FIG. 10 with a barcode reader before and after processing, it becomes easy to ensure traceability of the processing date and time, etc. EXAMPLES
[0056] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to examples, although the present invention is not limited to these examples.
[0057] Example 1 (1) Preparation of polyester pellets (Preparation of polyester A) An esterification reaction was carried out with 86.5 parts by mass of terephthalic acid and 37.1 parts by mass of ethylene glycol at 255° C. while distilling off water. After the esterification reaction was completed, 0.02 parts by mass of trimethyl phosphate, 0.06 parts by mass of magnesium acetate, 0.01 parts by mass of lithium acetate, and 0.0085 parts by mass of antimony trioxide were added, and the mixture was subsequently heated to 290° C. under reduced pressure to carry out a polycondensation reaction, thereby obtaining pellets of polyester A having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.63 dl / g.
[0058] (Creating polyester B) Furthermore, an aqueous slurry of divinylbenzene / styrene copolymer crosslinked particles (degree of crosslinking: 80%) having a volume average particle size of 0.3 μm, a volume shape factor f=0.51, and a Mohs hardness of 3, obtained by a seed method of adsorbing monomers consisting of 80 mass % divinylbenzene, 15 mass % ethylvinylbenzene, and 5 mass % styrene, is added to the above-mentioned homopolyester pellets (pellets of polyester A) which are substantially free of particles, using a vented twin-screw kneader, to obtain master pellets (pellets of polyester B) containing 1 mass % of divinylbenzene / styrene copolymer crosslinked particles having a volume average particle size of 0.3 μm relative to the polyester. The volume shape factor f is expressed by the following equation. f=V / Dm 3 where V is the particle volume (μm 3 ), Dm is the maximum diameter (μm) of the particle on its projected surface. The volume shape factor f is at its maximum, π / 6, when the particle is spherical.
[0059] (Preparation of recycled raw material A) After producing a film with the following formulation of layer a / layer b / layer a = 1.5 μm / 22.0 μm / 1.5 μm, the film was recovered and pelletized to obtain recovered raw material A. The ratios described below are expressed as mass ratios (mass%) relative to the mass of the entire layer. a layer Polyester A: 70.0 Polyester B: 30.0 b layer Polyester A: 100.0
[0060] (2) Mixing polyester pellets The polyester pellets to be fed to the extruder for each of the layers A and B are mixed in the following ratios. The ratios given below are mass ratios (unit: mass%) with respect to the polyester pellets constituting each layer. A layer Polyester A: 70.0 Polyester B: 30.0 B layer Polyester A: 70.0 Recycled raw material A: 30.0
[0061] (3) Manufacture of polyester film A The raw materials prepared for each layer are mixed in a blender, and then the mixed raw materials for layer A are fed to a vented twin-screw extruder for layer A, and the raw materials for layer B are dried under reduced pressure at 160°C for 8 hours and fed to a single-screw extruder for layer B. Layer A is filtered through a high-precision filter that captures 95% or more of foreign matter of 5 μm or more. Layer B is melt-extruded at 275°C in a tandem extruder, filtered through a high-precision filter that captures 95% or more of foreign matter of 5 μm or more, and then layer A and layer B are joined and laminated in a joining block to form a three-layer laminate consisting of layer A, layer B, and layer A. Then, using an electrostatic application casting method in which electrostatic application is applied to the entire width of the unstretched film through a slit die maintained at 285°C, the film is wound around a casting drum with a surface temperature of 25°C and cooled and solidified to obtain an unstretched laminated film. Sequential stretching is performed on this unstretched laminated film in the longitudinal and transverse directions. First, the film is stretched in the longitudinal direction, transported at 105°C, and then stretched 3.8 times in the longitudinal direction at 120°C to obtain a uniaxially stretched film. This uniaxially stretched film is stretched 4.0 times in the transverse direction at 115°C in a stenter, then heat-set at 230°C, during which it is relaxed by 5% in the width direction and cooled in the transport process. The stretched film is cooled in the transport process, and then the edges are cut and wound up to obtain an intermediate product with a width of 2000 mm and a length of 6500 m in the longitudinal direction. The intermediate product is slit into width and length in a slitting process and wound around a core to obtain a roll of polyester film A with a thickness of 31 μm. Next, a two-dimensional barcode is applied to the film by an inkjet method on the pass line before cutting the intermediate product from the start of slitting to the end of slitting. The two-dimensional barcodes are applied to the film at a 5 mm width and 150 mm pitch on the roll just before the intermediate product is cut, in an area 10 mm from the end of the film in the width direction at each cutting point. After cutting, the film is wound up to obtain a recycled film roll that is 900 mm wide and 6000 m long.
[0062] The thickness ratio of the polyester film A was A layer / B layer / A layer=5 μm / 21 μm / 5 μm.
[0063] (4) Reading of identification information Next, a handheld barcode reader is used to scan and read the identification information given to the surface of the roll of polyester film A immediately after it has been wound up. The read data is then entered into a computer and stored in a server that manages the identification information.
[0064] (5) Coating of release layer Next, a release layer is applied to the surface of layer A of this polyester film A. First, before applying the release layer, the identification information provided on the roll surface of polyester film A is scanned with a barcode reader to read the identification information. The read data is entered into a computer and then stored in a server. After the data is read, a coating solution containing a cross-linking primer layer (manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Silicone Co., Ltd., product name: BY24-846) adjusted to a solid content of 1% by mass is applied to the surface of layer A of polyester film A, and then dried. Specifically, the coating is applied with a gravure coater so that the coating thickness after drying is 0.1 μm, and the coating is dried and cured at 100° C. for 20 seconds. Within one hour, a coating solution containing 100 parts by mass of an addition reaction type silicone resin (manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Silicones Co., Ltd., product name: "LTC" (registered trademark) 750A) and 2 parts by mass of a platinum catalyst (manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Silicones Co., Ltd., product name: SRX212) adjusted to a solid content of 5% by mass is applied by gravure coating so that the coating thickness after drying is 0.1 μm, and after drying and curing at 120°C for 30 seconds, it is wound up to obtain a release polyester film. The identification information remains on the uncoated part of the release polyester film and can be identified.
[0065] (6) Slitting release polyester film Next, this release polyester film is slit. Before slitting the release layer, the identification information given to the release-coated film roll surface is scanned with a barcode reader to read the identification information. The slit is cut to a width of 450 mm. The ends are not trimmed and the film is wound up to a length of 6000 m. The identification information remains on one of the ends of the release polyester film, making it identifiable.
[0066] (7) Forming and coating green sheets Next, before forming and applying the green sheet, the identification information given to the roll surface of the release polyester film is scanned with a barcode reader to read the identification information. The read data is input into a computer and then stored in a server. On the roll surface of the release polyester film, 100 parts by mass of barium titanate (manufactured by Fuji Titan Industrial Co., Ltd., product name: HPBT-1), 10 parts by mass of polyvinyl butyral (manufactured by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd., product name: BL-1), 5 parts by mass of dibutyl phthalate, and 60 parts by mass of toluene-ethanol (mass ratio 30:30) were added to glass beads with a number average particle size of 2 mm, mixed and dispersed for 20 hours using a jet mill, and then filtered to prepare a paste-like ceramic slurry. The obtained ceramic slurry was applied to the release polyester film with a die coater so that the thickness after drying was 0.5 μm, and then dried. Since the application of the slurry was performed in a width of 400 mm, the identification information remained on either end of the release polyester film and was identifiable.
[0067] (8) Coating of internal electrodes and lamination of green sheets 44.6 parts by mass of Ni particles, 52 parts by mass of terpineol, 3 parts by mass of ethyl cellulose, and 0.4 parts by mass of benzotriazole are mixed and slurried to obtain a paint for the internal electrode layer. The paint for the internal electrode layer is applied in a predetermined pattern on a green sheet by a screen printing method to obtain a ceramic green sheet having an internal electrode pattern. The electrodes are printed only on the width of the green sheet, and the identification information remains on either end of the release polyester film and is therefore identifiable.
[0068] (9) Green sheet lamination and peeling The green sheet laminated by the above method was laminated, peeled off, and wound up. Note that some of the inorganic layer remained on the release film after peeling. The identification information remained on either end of the release polyester film and was identifiable.
[0069] (10) Cleaning of release polyester film after peeling Next, before washing the release polyester film after peeling off the green sheet, the identification information given to the roll surface of the release polyester film is scanned with a barcode reader to read the identification information. The read data is entered into a computer and then stored in a server. The release polyester film after peeling is crushed into flakes with a grinder. The flakes are stirred and washed with an alkaline aqueous solution to separate them from inorganic matter.
[0070] (11) Re-chipping of flakes The flakes were vacuum dried, fed into a twin-screw extruder, melted, and extruded to obtain recycled chips, which were designated as recycled raw material B.
[0071] (12) Manufacturing of recycled polyester films The polyester pellets to be fed to the extruder for each of the layers A and B were mixed in the following ratios. The ratios shown below are mass ratios (unit: mass%) with respect to the polyester pellets constituting each layer. A layer Polyester A: 70.0 Polyester B: 30.0 B layer Polyester A: 70.0 Recycled raw material B: 30.0
[0072] Thereafter, a recycled polyester film was produced in the same manner as in the case of polyester film A.
[0073] Example 2 In addition to the process of Example 1, (6) in the process of slitting the release polyester film, a two-dimensional barcode was applied by laser engraving on the surface opposite to the surface coated with the release layer on the path line before cutting in the slitting process. In the laser engraving, solid printing (printing all pixels) was performed, and the difference in arithmetic mean roughness SRa between the solid printed surface and the non-solid printed surface was measured with a measuring device manufactured by Zygo, and the value was 2000 nm. The difference in haze between the solid printed surface and the non-solid printed surface was measured using a haze meter (manufactured by Suga Test Instruments, product name: HGM-2DP (for C light source)) in accordance with JIS K7105 (1981), and the value was 50%. The two-dimensional barcodes to be applied on the film during the actual printing are applied at the respective cutting points with a width of 20 mm and a pitch of 150 mm. It was confirmed that the functionality of the release polyester film was not affected by the subsequent molding and coating of the green sheet (7). In this case, the identification information can be left intact even if the edge is cut off when slitting the release polyester film.
[0074] Example 3 In Example 1, (3) in the manufacturing process of polyester film A, instead of applying a two-dimensional barcode to the film by the inkjet method on the pass line before cutting the intermediate product, invisible ink was applied by the inkjet method on the pass line where the intermediate product is paid out, at 20 points in the width direction of the intermediate product film and at a pitch of 150 mm in the longitudinal direction, on the opposite side to the release coating. As in Example 1, the release polyester film after slitting has a width of 450 mm and a length of 6000 m.
[0075] When washing the release film after forming and applying the green sheet onto the release polyester film, applying the internal electrodes and laminating the green sheet, and laminating and peeling the green sheet, the release film is ground into flakes with a grinder, and some of the flakes still have readable identification information. Therefore, it is possible to identify the flakes by extracting any group from the obtained flakes and scanning the identification information, or by scanning the entire number.
[0076] At this time, the scanned identification information is acquired by an information processing terminal connected peer-to-peer. The identification information is stored in the information processing terminal installed at the polyester film manufacturing site. By deciphering the identification information that arrives from the recycling processing site where the recycled chips are processed, it becomes possible to determine, for example, that the chip has been through three circulation cycles before arriving at the site. [Industrial Applicability]
