Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a column support member. [Background technology]
[0002] When working on the roof of a building, temporary handrails are sometimes installed to prevent workers from falling. One method for installing such temporary handrails is to drill holes in a concrete parapet for attaching fixtures, embed the fixtures in the holes, and connect the handrails to the fixtures (Patent Documents 1 and 2). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 5-89669 [Patent Document 2] JP 2002-21285 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, drilling holes in the parapet as in the conventional techniques described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 above may damage the waterproof layer, thereby reducing waterproofing. In addition, when the handrail is removed after work on the roof is completed, the parapet with the hole must be repaired.
[0005] In view of the above background, an object of the present invention is to provide a post support member that can attach a temporary handrail post to a parapet without damaging the parapet. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, one aspect of the present invention is a post support member (10) for attaching a temporary handrail post (4) to a parapet (3) provided on the roof of a building, the post support member comprising an attachment portion (14) that is detachably attached to a round ring plate (9) extending from the inner surface of the parapet, and a post support portion (15) that is formed integrally with the attachment portion and supports the handrail post.
[0007] According to this aspect, by attaching the mounting portion of the pillar support member to the round ring plate and supporting the handrail post on the pillar support portion, the handrail post can be attached to the parapet without damaging the parapet.
[0008] In the above aspect, the mounting portion may include a first vertical plate (25) and a second vertical plate (26) extending laterally from a side portion of the pillar support portion at a predetermined interval from each other to receive the round ring plate, a first bolt insertion hole (29) formed in the first vertical plate and a second bolt insertion hole (31) formed at a position aligned with the first bolt insertion hole of the second vertical plate, and, when the round ring plate is positioned between the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate, a round ring support hole (12) penetrating the round ring plate, a fastening bolt (30) inserted into the first bolt insertion hole and the second bolt insertion hole, and a nut (33) screwed onto the fastening bolt.
[0009] According to this aspect, the column support member can be attached to the round ring plate by sandwiching the round ring plate between the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate.
[0010] In the above aspect, the mounting portion further has a bottom plate (27) fixed to the pillar support portion and extending horizontally downward between the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate, and the bottom plate preferably extends from the pillar support portion to a position farther than the first bolt insertion hole and the second bolt insertion hole.
[0011] When the handrail post is installed, it is conceivable that the load from the handrail post will cause the post support member to rotate downward around the fastening bolt. According to this aspect, the upper surface of the base plate abuts against the lower part of the round ring plate, restricting the downward rotation of the post support member, thereby preventing the handrail post from tilting.
[0012] In the above aspect, it is preferable that the first vertical plate is fixed to the column support portion and the bottom plate, and the second vertical plate is fixed only to the column support portion.
[0013] According to this aspect, the second vertical plate can bend in the thickness direction, and therefore the pole support member can be reliably fixed to the round ring plate by being sandwiched between the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate.
[0014] In the above aspect, the second vertical plate may have a rectangular shape with a horizontal dimension greater than a vertical dimension.
[0015] According to this aspect, the second vertical plate is easily bent in the thickness direction, and therefore the column support member can be fixed to the round ring plate regardless of the thickness of the round ring plate.
[0016] In the above aspect, the second vertical plate may be welded to the side portion of the pillar support portion at a portion in the up-down direction.
[0017] According to this embodiment, the second vertical plate becomes more easily flexible in the thickness direction.
[0018] In the above aspect, the post support portion may have a tubular portion (17) that receives the lower end of the handrail post, at least one threaded hole (20) formed in a wall (19) of the tubular portion, and a bolt (21) that screws into the threaded hole and abuts against the outer surface of the handrail post.
[0019] According to this aspect, the handrail post can be fixed to the cylindrical portion by the bolt.
[0020] In the above-mentioned aspect, at least one of the screw holes includes an upper screw hole (20A) provided in the upper part of the pillar support portion and a lower screw hole (20B) provided in the lower part of the pillar support portion, and the upper screw hole and the lower screw hole are preferably arranged in positions facing each other in a planar view.
[0021] According to this aspect, the handrail post can be fixed to the cylindrical portion at two points that face each other in a plan view and are at different heights, making it possible to adjust the inclination of the handrail post.
[0022] In the above aspect, the post support portion may further include a support plate (18) attached to the lower end of the tubular portion and supporting the lower end of the handrail post.
[0023] According to this aspect, the handrail post can be fixed to the cylindrical portion with the handrail post supported by the support plate, which makes it easier to attach the handrail post to the post support portion.
[0024] In the above aspect, the support plate may be provided with a drain hole (24) that penetrates vertically.
[0025] According to this aspect, rainwater accumulated inside the tube portion can be drained. Effect of the Invention
[0026] According to the above aspect, it is possible to provide a post support member for attaching a temporary handrail post without damaging the parapet. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0028] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0029] Fig. 1 is a front view of a handrail 1 according to an embodiment. As shown in Fig. 1, the handrail 1 is a temporary handrail installed on a parapet 3 on the roof of a building. The handrail 1 includes a handrail post 4 extending vertically and a pair of upper and lower horizontal rails 5 fixed to the handrail post 4 and extending horizontally.
[0030] The handrail posts 4 are arranged at predetermined intervals along the inner surface of the parapet 3. The handrail posts 4 are preferably made of single pipes.
[0031] The cross bars 5 are fixed to the upper and lower parts of the handrail posts 4 by clamps 7. The cross bars 5 are preferably made of single-tube pipes. A net 8 is attached to the cross bars 5. The net 8 extends vertically and horizontally between the upper and lower cross bars 5.
[0032] Fig. 2 is a side view of the handrail 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the handrail 1 is attached to a round ring plate 9 provided on a parapet 3 via a column support member 10.
[0033] The ring plate 9 is a metal plate-like member. The ring plate 9 is embedded in the parapet 3 so that its main surface faces the left-right direction (left-right direction in FIG. 1), and extends from the inner surface of the parapet 3 toward the inside of the building. The extending end of the ring plate 9 is formed in an arc shape, and a ring support hole 12 is formed in the extending end side.
[0034] The round ring support hole 12 is a through hole formed in the round ring plate 9. A round ring (not shown) is removably attached to the round ring support hole 12. The round ring is a metal annular member, and is used, for example, to fasten a rope used for maintaining the exterior wall of a building. In this embodiment, the round ring plate 9 is used with the round ring removed from the round ring support hole 12.
[0035] The post support member 10 is a metal member for attaching the handrail post 4 to the parapet 3. The post support member 10 has an attachment part 14 that is detachably attached to the round ring plate 9, and a post support part 15 that is formed integrally with the attachment part 14 and supports the handrail post 4.
[0036] Figure 3 is a perspective view of the pole support member 10. Figure 4 is a side view of the pole support member 10. Figure 5 is a plan view of the pole support member 10. As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the pole support part 15 has a tubular part 17 that opens upward and receives the lower end of the handrail post 4, and a support plate 18 that is attached to the lower end of the tubular part 17 and supports the lower end of the handrail post 4.
[0037] At least one screw hole 20 is formed in the wall 19 of the tubular portion 17, penetrating in the radial direction. In this embodiment, the screw hole 20 includes an upper screw hole 20A provided in the upper part of the tubular portion 17 and a lower screw hole 20B provided in the lower part of the tubular portion 17. The upper screw hole 20A and the lower screw hole 20B are arranged in positions facing each other in a plan view and extend in the same direction. In the following, the direction in which the upper screw hole 20A and the lower screw hole 20B extend is defined as the first direction. A bolt 21 is screwed into each of the screw holes 20. The end of each bolt 21 abuts against the outer surface of the handrail post 4 inserted into the tubular portion 17. That is, the handrail post 4 is fixed to the tubular portion 17 by the bolt 21 at two points that face each other in a plan view and are at different heights.
[0038] The support plate 18 is larger than the cross section of the tubular portion 17, and extends substantially horizontally along the lower end of the tubular portion 17. In this embodiment, the support plate 18 is welded from the outside to the lower end of the tubular portion 17 over substantially the entire circumference, closing the lower opening of the tubular portion 17. A water drainage hole 24 that penetrates the support plate 18 vertically is provided on the inner part of the tubular portion 17 of the support plate 18. As a result, water that enters the inside of the tubular portion 17 is discharged downward through the water drainage hole 24.
[0039] The mounting portion 14 has a first vertical plate 25 and a second vertical plate 26 extending laterally from the sides of the tubular portion 17, and a bottom plate 27 disposed below and between the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26. The bottom plate 27 is fixed to the lower part of the tubular portion 17 and extends approximately horizontally along the first direction. In this embodiment, the bottom plate 27 of the mounting portion 14 and the support plate 18 of the pillar support portion 15 are formed from a single metal plate.
[0040] The first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 are arranged parallel to each other so that their main surfaces face a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and the up-down direction. The first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 are arranged at a predetermined interval from each other in the second direction. When the column support member 10 is attached to the round ring plate 9, the round ring plate 9 is received between the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26. That is, the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 are arranged at an interval equal to or slightly larger than the thickness of the round ring plate 9 to be attached. The first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 each extend in the first direction above the bottom plate 27, and are fixed to the tube portion 17 at one end. In this embodiment, the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 each have a horizontally elongated rectangular shape in which the horizontal dimension (i.e., the first direction) is larger than the vertical dimension (i.e., the up-down direction).
[0041] The first vertical plate 25 is fixed to the tubular portion 17 and the bottom plate 27 by welding. A first bolt insertion hole 29 is formed in the first vertical plate 25, penetrating the first vertical plate 25 in the second direction. A fastening bolt 30 is inserted into the first bolt insertion hole 29.
[0042] FIG. 6 is a rear view of the column support member 10. As shown in FIG. 6, the second vertical plate 26 is fixed to the tube portion 17 by welding. The second vertical plate 26 is fixed to the tube portion 17 only at the center in the up-down direction. The second vertical plate 26 is disposed at a distance from the bottom plate 27. The second vertical plate 26 is formed with a second bolt insertion hole 31 penetrating the second vertical plate 26 in the second direction. The second bolt insertion hole 31 is disposed at a position aligned with the first bolt insertion hole 29 in a side view. A fastening bolt 30 is inserted into the second bolt insertion hole 31. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, a nut 33 is screwed onto the fastening bolt 30 with the shaft portion of the fastening bolt 30 inserted into the first bolt insertion hole 29, the round ring support hole 12, and the second bolt insertion hole 31.
[0043] Next, a method for attaching the pole support member 10 thus configured to the round ring plate 9 will be described.
[0044] First, the column support member 10 is arranged so that the first direction coincides with the extension direction of the round ring plate 9. Next, the round ring plate 9 is arranged between the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26 so that the first bolt insertion hole 29 and the second bolt insertion hole 31 are aligned with the position of the round ring support hole 12 in a side view. Next, the fastening bolt 30 is inserted into the first bolt insertion hole 29, the second bolt insertion hole 31, and the round ring support hole 12, and the nut 33 is screwed into the inserted fastening bolt 30. As a result, the second vertical plate 26 is deflected, and the round ring plate 9 is sandwiched between the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26, thereby fixing the column support member 10 to the round ring plate 9.
[0045] After the pole support member 10 is attached to the round ring plate 9, the lower end of the handrail pole 4 is inserted into the tube portion 17, and the bolt 21 is screwed into the screw hole 20 to fix the handrail pole 4. At this time, the inclination of the handrail pole 4 in the first direction can be adjusted by adjusting the degree of screwing of the bolt 21 screwed into the upper screw hole 20A and the lower screw hole 20B. In this way, the handrail pole 4 is attached to the parapet 3 via the pole support member 10.
[0046] Next, the effects of the pole support member 10 thus configured will be described.
[0047] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the handrail post 4 is attached to the parapet 3 via the post support member 10 and the round ring plate 9. Therefore, the temporary handrail post 4 can be attached to the parapet 3 without damaging the parapet 3. This eliminates the need for repair work on the parapet 3 after removing the handrail 1. In addition, since there is no need to drill holes in the parapet 3, the waterproof layer is not damaged and a decrease in the waterproofing of the building can be prevented.
[0048] As shown in FIG. 5, the pole support member 10 is fixed to the round ring plate 9 by the fastening bolt 30 inserted through the first bolt insertion hole 29, the second bolt insertion hole 31, and the round ring support hole 12. Therefore, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 4, the pole support member 10 tries to rotate downward around the fastening bolt 30 due to the load received from the handrail pole 4. In this embodiment, when the pole support member 10 is attached to the round ring plate 9, the bottom plate 27 extends to a position farther in the first direction than the first bolt insertion hole 29 and the second bolt insertion hole 31. Therefore, even if the pole support member 10 tries to rotate, the bottom plate 27 abuts against the lower part of the round ring plate 9, thereby restricting the rotation of the pole support member 10. This prevents the handrail pole 4 from tilting and falling over.
[0049] 6, the first vertical plate 25 is fixed to the tubular portion 17 and the bottom plate 27, while the second vertical plate 26 is not fixed to the bottom plate 27 but is fixed only to the tubular portion 17. With this configuration, the second vertical plate 26 is cantilevered by the tubular portion 17 and can bend in the thickness direction. Therefore, the round ring plate 9 is securely sandwiched between the second vertical plate 26 and the first vertical plate 25, which are bent in a direction approaching the first vertical plate 25. Therefore, the pillar support member 10 can be securely attached to the round ring plate 9.
[0050] In this embodiment, the second vertical plate 26 has a rectangular shape with a horizontal dimension greater than a vertical dimension. This configuration makes the second vertical plate 26 more flexible in the horizontal direction. Therefore, even if the thickness of the round ring plate 9 is smaller than the distance between the first vertical plate 25 and the second vertical plate 26, the column support member 10 can be reliably fixed to the round ring plate 9.
[0051] In this embodiment, the second vertical plate 26 is welded to the cylindrical portion 17 at the center in the up-down direction. This configuration makes it easier for the second vertical plate 26 to bend in the thickness direction. This makes it easier to fix the column support member 10 to the round ring plate 9.
[0052] As shown in Figure 4, a support plate 18 is provided at the lower end of the tubular portion 17 to support the lower end of the handrail post 4. With this configuration, the handrail post 4 can be supported by the support plate 18 when the handrail post 4 is fixed to the tubular portion 17. This means that there is no need for a worker to hold up the handrail post 4 while fastening the bolts 21, making the installation work of the handrail post 4 easy.
[0053] 5 and 6, the opening on the lower side of the tubular portion 17 is blocked by the support plate 18. Because the pillar support member 10 is installed on the roof of a building, rainwater may accumulate inside the tubular portion 17. In this embodiment, the support plate 18 is provided with drainage holes 24 that penetrate vertically, so that rainwater that accumulates inside the tubular portion 17 can be drained through the drainage holes 24.
[0054] Although the description of the specific embodiment is finished above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and modified examples, and can be widely modified. For example, in the above embodiment, the second vertical plate 26 is fixed to the support column 15 and not fixed to the bottom plate 27, but may be fixed to the bottom plate 27 without being fixed to the support column 15. In this case, the second vertical plate 26 may be welded to the center in the horizontal direction to the bottom plate 27. Also, instead of the support plate 18, at least one claw extending radially inward from the lower part of the tube part 17 may be provided. In this case, the gap between the at least one claw and the opening end of the tube part 17 functions as the drain hole 24. In addition, the specific configuration, arrangement, quantity, material, construction procedure, etc. of each member or part can be appropriately changed as long as it does not deviate from the gist of the present invention. Also, all of the components shown in the above embodiment are not necessarily required, and can be selected appropriately. [Explanation of symbols]
