[0011] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0012] <Overall composition> FIG. 1 is a side view of a riding rice transplanter equipped with a fertilizer application device, which is an example of the riding working machine of the present invention.

[0013] The riding rice transplanter 1 with fertilizer applicator has a seedling planting unit 4 as a working machine attached to the rear of a running body 2 via a lifting link device 3 so that it can be raised and lowered, and the main body of the fertilizer applicator 5 is provided on the upper rear side of the running body 2.

[0014] On both the left and right sides of the front of the running body 2, left and right spare seedling loading devices 7, 7 which can be rotated between a working state in which they extend outward from the body and a storage state in which they are stored inside the body are provided on the upper part of a support frame 6 whose base is fixed to the body, and left and right line drawing markers 8, 8 which can be rotated between a working state in which they extend outward from the body and a storage state in which they are stored inside the body.

[0015] In addition, the left and right directions in the forward direction of the riding seedling transplanter are referred to as left and right, respectively, and the forward and backward directions are referred to as front and rear, respectively.

[0016] <Running vehicle 2> The running body 2 is a four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with a pair of left and right front wheels 10,10 and a pair of left and right rear wheels 11,11 which are drive wheels, with a transmission case 12 arranged at the front of the body and front wheel final cases 13,13 provided on the left and right sides of the transmission case 12, and the left and right front wheels 10,10 are respectively attached to left and right front wheel axles which protrude outward from each front wheel support portion of the left and right front wheel final cases 13,13 which can change the steering direction.

[0017] In addition, the front end of the main frame 15 is fixed to the rear portion of the transmission case 12, and the rear wheel gear cases 18, 18 are supported so as to be able to roll freely, with a rear wheel rolling axis set horizontally in the center of the left and right rear end of the main frame 15 as a fulcrum, and the rear wheels 11, 11 are attached to the rear wheel axles that protrude outward from the rear wheel gear cases 18, 18.

[0018] The engine 20 is mounted on the main frame 15, and the rotational power of the engine 20 is transmitted to the transmission case 12 via the belt transmission and the HST 23. The rotational power transmitted to the transmission case 12 is changed in speed by the transmission in the case 12, and then separated into running power and externally taken out power and taken out. A part of the running power is transmitted to the front wheel final cases 13, 13 to drive the front wheels 10, 10, and the rest is transmitted to the rear wheel gear cases 18, 18 to drive the rear wheels 11, 11. The externally taken out power is transmitted to a planting clutch case provided at the rear of the traveling body 2, and then transmitted to the seedling planting section 4 by the planting transmission shaft 26, and is also transmitted to the fertilizer application device 5 by the fertilizer application transmission mechanism.

[0019] The upper part of the engine 20 is covered by an engine cover 30, and a seat 31 is installed above the engine cover 30.

[0020] In front of the seat 31 is a front cover 32 incorporating various operating mechanisms, to the side of which is a hydraulic planting lever 33, and above that is a handle 34 for steering the front wheels 10,10.

[0021] Both the left and right sides of the lower ends of the engine cover 30 and the front cover 32 form horizontal floor steps 35. Part of the floor step 35 is latticed so that mud on the shoes of an operator walking on the step 35 falls into the field. The rear part above the floor step 35 forms a rear step 36 that also serves as a rear wheel fender.

[0022] The lifting link device 3 has a parallel link configuration and includes an upper link 40 and a lower link 41 .

[0023] The upper link 40 and the lower link 41 are rotatably attached to a link base frame 42, which is shaped like a portal when viewed from the rear and constitutes the body frame, with its base side erected on the rear end of the main frame 15, by a front-upper pivot shaft 40a and a front-lower pivot shaft 41a, and a vertical link 43 is rotatably connected to its tip side by a rear-upper pivot shaft 40b and a rear-lower pivot shaft 41b.

[0024] A connecting shaft 44 rotatably supported on the seedling planting section 4 is inserted and connected to the lower end of the vertical link 43, so that the seedling planting section 4 is connected so as to be capable of rolling around the connecting shaft 44.

[0025] A lifting hydraulic cylinder 46 is provided between the link base frame 42 and the vertical link 43, and by extending and contracting the lifting hydraulic cylinder 46 with a hydraulic valve 47, the lifting link device 3 rotates up and down, and the seedling planting section 4 rises and falls while maintaining an almost constant posture.

[0026] Here, the operation configuration of the hydraulic valve 47 by the hydraulic planting lever 33 will be described with reference to Figs.

[0027] The hydraulic planting lever 33 is mounted on the machine body on a left-right pivot shaft 33a so that it can be freely rotated in the front-rear direction, and has four operating positions: an automatic planting position when operated to the most forward position, a lowered position when operated slightly rearward, a neutral position when operated to the middle position, and a raised position when operated to the most rearward position.

[0028] The hydraulic planting lever 33 is provided with an operating piece 33b that operates the spool 47a of the hydraulic valve 47, a cam piece 33d with a V-shaped cam groove 33c, and a clutch operating piece 33e that operates a working clutch that switches on and off the driving force to the seedling planting section 4 and fertilizer application device 5 in the planting clutch case.

[0029] In addition, at the apex of the V-shaped cam groove 33c, as shown in Figure 3, a groove 33c' is formed which engages a pin 49c provided on the connecting plate 49 described below when the hydraulic planting lever 33 is operated to the neutral position.

[0030] The pressure relief pin operating arm 48 is pivotally supported on the machine body by a rotary shaft 48a in the left-right direction, and is provided with an operating arm 48b and a rotary operation piece 48c for pushing and operating the pressure relief pin 47b of the hydraulic valve 47.

[0031] The connecting plate 49 has a long hole 49a in the center that is fitted onto the pivot shaft 33a of the hydraulic planting lever 33, one end is connected to the pivot operating piece 48c of the pressure relief pin operating arm 48 via a connecting shaft 49b, and the pin 49c at the other end is engaged with the cam groove 33c of the cam piece 33d of the hydraulic planting lever 33.

[0032] Therefore, when the hydraulic planting lever 33 is rotated forward most to the automatic planting position, the operating piece 33b separates from the spool 47a of the hydraulic valve 47, and the spool 47a switches according to the detection results of the angle of attack control sensor which detects the up and down movement of the front part of the center float 75 described below, thereby automatically controlling the raising and lowering of the seedling planting section 4, and the clutch operating piece 33e engages the working clutch in the planting clutch case to drive the seedling planting section 4 and the fertilizer application device 5.

[0033] At this time, the pin 49c of the connecting plate 49 is on the inclined surface of the cam groove 33c, and the pressure relief pin operating arm 48 does not press and operate the pressure relief pin 47b of the hydraulic valve 47.

[0034] When the hydraulic planting lever 33 is operated to the lowered position, the operating piece 33b pushes the spool 47a of the hydraulic valve 47 to the lowered position, lowering the seedling planting section 4, and the clutch operating piece 33e disengages the working clutch in the planting clutch case so that the seedling planting section 4 and the fertilizer application device 5 are not driven.

[0035] At this time, the pin 49c of the connecting plate 49 is on the inclined surface of the cam groove 33c, and the pressure relief pin operating arm 48 does not press and operate the pressure relief pin 47b of the hydraulic valve 47.

[0036] When the hydraulic planting lever 33 is operated to the neutral position, the operating piece 33b pushes the spool 47a of the hydraulic valve 47 to the neutral position, causing the seedling planting section 4 to stop moving up and down, and the clutch operating piece 33e disengages the working clutch inside the planting clutch case, so that the seedling planting section 4 and the fertilizer application device 5 are not driven.

[0037] At this time, with the pin 49c of the connecting plate 49 engaged with the groove 33c' at the apex of the V-shaped cam groove 33c, the connecting plate 49 is pulled to its maximum extent and the pressure relief pin operating arm 48 pushes and operates the pressure relief pin 47b of the hydraulic valve 47, the oil passage is locked to prevent hydraulic leakage, and the seedling planting section 4 is kept in a stopped state without moving up or down.

[0038] When the hydraulic planting lever 33 is operated to the raised position, the operating piece 33b pushes the spool 47a of the hydraulic valve 47 to the raised position, raising the seedling planting section 4, and the clutch operating piece 33e disengages the working clutch in the planting clutch case so that the seedling planting section 4 and the fertilizer application device 5 are not driven.

[0039] At this time, the pin 49c of the connecting plate 49 is on the inclined surface of the cam groove 33c, and the pressure relief pin operating arm 48 does not press and operate the pressure relief pin 47b of the hydraulic valve 47.

[0040] If a freely rotatable collar is provided on the pin 49c so that the collar comes into contact with the cam groove 33c, the pin 49c will move smoothly in the cam groove 33c, resulting in improved operation.

[0041] Next, the lubricating oil supplying device 50 for the front upper rotating shaft 40a, the front lower rotating shaft 41a, the rear upper rotating shaft 40b, and the rear lower rotating shaft 41b of the lifting link device 3 will be described with reference to Figures 4 to 6. Note that the lubricating oil supplying device 50 is omitted from the side view of the riding rice transplanter in Figure 1.

[0042] The lubricating oil supply device 50 is composed of an oil pump 52 that is removably fixed to an oil pump support 51 provided on the link base frame 42, an arm 53 that presses down on a pump head 52a of the oil pump 52, and an actuator 54 that rotates the arm 53 downward.

[0043] The oil pump 52 is positioned rearward (to the side) of the front upper pivot shaft 40a and front lower pivot shaft 41a of the lifting link device 3, and is composed of a tank 52b for storing lubricating oil, a pump head 52a of a typical manual pump, and an oil hose 52c that guides the lubricating oil discharged from the pump head 52a to each of the oil holes 60 of the front upper pivot shaft 40a, front lower pivot shaft 41a, rear upper pivot shaft 40b, and rear lower pivot shaft 41b of the lifting link device 3.

[0044] In addition, the front upper rotating shaft 40a, the front lower rotating shaft 41a, the rear upper rotating shaft 40b and the rear lower rotating shaft 41b of the lifting link device 3 are configured by freely rotatably mounting a cylinder 62 on a support shaft 61 fixed to the link base frame 42 or the vertical link 43, and an oil filling hole 60 is provided in the center of the left and right parts of the cylinder 62.

[0045] Therefore, lubricating oil is injected into the left-right central position of the cylinders 62 that constitute the front upper pivot shaft 40a, the front lower pivot shaft 41a, the rear upper pivot shaft 40b, and the rear lower pivot shaft 41b, so that oil is evenly injected throughout the shafts, thereby maintaining smooth lifting and lowering operation of the lifting link device 3.

[0046] The arm 53 has its base supported by the link base frame 42 via a pivot shaft 53a so as to be freely rotatable, and a coil spring 53b provided on the pivot shaft 53a biases the tip of the arm 53 so as to rotate downward, so that the tip of the arm 53 is in contact with the pump head 52a of the oil pump 52 but not so as to press down on it.

[0047] An operating lever 53c made of a round iron bar extending in the left-right direction is provided at the tip of arm 53, and when an actuator 54 comes into contact with the part of operating lever 53c extending inwardly of arm 53, arm 53 is rotated downwardly, pushing down pump head 52a and discharging lubricating oil. An operator grasps the part of operating lever 53c extending outwardly of arm 53 and manually rotates arm 53 downwardly to push down pump head 52a and discharge lubricating oil.

[0048] The actuator 54 is pivotally supported on the upper link 40 by a left-right pivot shaft 54a and is biased in the direction of rearward rotation by a tension spring 54b. The rearward rotation is stopped by a length-adjustable stopper 54c abutting against the upper link 40. A hook 54d is formed at the front tip of the actuator 54 for engaging with the actuator lever 53c from above and pushing the actuator lever 53c downward.

[0049] Therefore, when the lifting link device 3 moves upward to raise the seedling planting section 4, the hook 54d at the front end of the operating body 54 pushes up the operating lever 53c of the arm 53, causing the arm 53 to rotate upward, and the oil pump 52 does not operate.

[0050] When the lifting link device 3, which raises and then lowers the seedling planting section 4, moves downward, the hook 54d at the front tip of the operating body 54 engages with the operating lever 53c from above and pushes it down, causing the arm 53 to rotate downward and push down the pump head 52a, discharging lubricating oil which is then supplied to the front upper rotating shaft 40a, the front lower rotating shaft 41a, the rear upper rotating shaft 40b and the rear lower rotating shaft 41b.

[0051] In this way, when the seedling planting section 4 is raised or lowered, the up and down movement of the lifting link device 3 automatically lubricates the front upper pivot shaft 40a, the front lower pivot shaft 41a, the rear upper pivot shaft 40b and the rear lower pivot shaft 41b, eliminating the need for manual oiling work and maintaining smooth lifting and lowering operation of the lifting link device 3 through frequent oiling.

[0052] In addition, while the upward movement of the lifting link device 3 varies in ascending speed depending on the rotation speed of the engine 20, the downward movement is not affected by the rotation speed of the engine 20 and therefore the downward movement speed is stable. Therefore, when the oil injection pump 52 is operated by the downward movement of the lifting link device 3, stable oil injection can be performed.

[0053] Furthermore, by adjusting the length of the stopper 54c, the position at which the hook 54d at the front end of the actuator 54 abuts and engages with the actuator lever 53c from above can be changed, thereby changing the amount by which the pump head 52a is pressed down and adjusting the amount of oil dispensed.

[0054] 7 and 8 are plan views for explaining the operation of the folding steps 65 provided on both the left and right sides of the floor step 35 and capable of being foldable and stored.

[0055] In other words, the folding step 65 is composed of a number of parallel link members 68 whose bases are pivotally supported on fixed members 66 fixed to both the left and right sides of the floor step 35 and whose tips are pivotally supported on movable members 67, and the upper surfaces of the fixed members 66, movable members 67 and the number of parallel link members 68 form a step surface that is flush with the upper surface of the floor step 35.

[0056] Therefore, during rice planting work, by rotating the numerous parallel link members 68 as shown in Figure 7 so that the movable members 67 are positioned on the outside of the machine body, a step surface is formed on the left and right outside of the floor step 35, allowing workers to work efficiently, easily and safely on the wide step to carry out various tasks such as supplying seedlings and fertilizer.

[0057] When loading onto a truck, storing in a barn, or traveling on the road, the parallel links 68 can be rotated as shown in Fig. 8 to store the movable members 67 inside the machine, narrowing the width of the machine from side to side, reducing the loading space of the truck and the storage space of the barn, making it easier to operate when traveling on the road. The left and right spare seedling loading devices 7,7 and the left and right line drawing markers 8,8 are also stored inside the machine.

[0058] The folding step 65 is provided with a fixing mechanism for fixing it in the working state and the stored state.

[0059] In addition, one of the pivot pins 69 that pivotally support the tip of the link member 68 to the movable member 67 is extended upward to serve as a grip when switching between the working state and the stored state.

[0060] <Seedling planting section 4> The seedling planting section 4 has a six-row planting configuration and is equipped with a transmission case 70 which also serves as a frame, a seedling carrier 71 which carries mat seedlings and moves back and forth from side to side, supplying seedlings one by one to the seedling outlet 71a of each row, and transports the seedlings downward by a seedling feed belt which supplies all of the seedlings in a horizontal row to the seedling outlet 71a, and a seedling planting device 72 which plants the seedlings supplied to the seedling outlet 71a in the field.

[0061] A center float 75 is provided in the center of the lower part of the seedling planting section 4, and side floats 76, 76 are provided on both the left and right sides of the center float 75. When the vehicle is advanced with these floats 75, 76, 76 in contact with the muddy surface of the field, the floats 75, 76, 76 slide along the muddy surface while leveling it, and the seedling planting device 72 plants seedlings in the leveled area.

[0062] Each float 75, 76, 76 is attached so that it can rotate freely so that its front end moves up and down in response to the unevenness of the field topsoil surface. During planting work, the up and down movement of the front of the center float 75 is detected by an angle of attack control sensor (not shown). In response to the detection result, the hydraulic valve 47 which controls the lifting hydraulic cylinder 46 is switched to raise and lower the seedling planting section 4, thereby maintaining the seedling planting depth constant at all times.

[0063] The seedling planting section 4 is equipped with a soil leveling rotor 27, which is an example of a soil leveling device.

[0064] <Fertilizer 5> The fertilizer application device 5 delivers a fixed amount of granular fertilizer stored in a fertilizer hopper 80 using a delivery section 81, and guides the fertilizer via a fertilizer application hose 82 to fertilizer application guides 83 attached to both the left and right sides of the floats 75, 76, 76. The fertilizer is then dropped into a fertilizer area formed near the side of the seedling planting row by a furrow making body 84 provided in front of the fertilizer application guide 83.

[0065] Air generated by a blower driven by an electric blower motor is blown into fertilizer application hose 82 via an air chamber 85 that is long in the left-right direction, and the fertilizer in fertilizer application hose 82 is forcibly transported by the wind pressure.
