[0002] The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of display technology, for example, to a display panel and a display device. Background Art
[0003] With the development of display technology, narrow bezel has become a development trend.
[0004] In related art, a frame circuit and multiple signal lines are set in the frame of the display panel, wherein the frame circuit includes a gate drive circuit, and the signal lines include a cathode power signal line, a clock signal line, etc. The cathode power signal line is set around the display area.
[0005] However, existing display panels have difficulty achieving narrow bezels and have a small screen-to-body ratio.
[0006] Summary of the Invention
[0007] The present application provides a display panel and a display device, so as to reduce the width of at least a portion of a frame of the display panel and increase the screen-to-body ratio.
[0008] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a display panel comprising: a display area and a non-display area connected to the display area; the display panel further comprises a substrate; a plurality of light-emitting devices, the light-emitting devices comprising a first electrode, a light-emitting functional layer, and a second electrode stacked on the substrate; an isolation layer, the isolation layer comprising a plurality of isolation openings, the light-emitting functional layer being located within the corresponding isolation openings; a dam, arranged in the non-display area and located on the same side of the substrate as the isolation layer; the projection of the dam on the substrate surrounds the display area; a power supply line, the power supply line being electrically connected to the second electrode; the non-display area comprising a first border area, the first border area comprising a first side circuit area between the dam and the display area, the power supply line being arranged in the non-display area excluding at least a portion of the first side circuit area.
[0009] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides a display device comprising the display panel of the first aspect.
[0010] The display panel and display device of the embodiments of the present application are characterized by providing an isolation layer in the display area, the isolation layer including a plurality of isolation openings, with the light-emitting functional layer located within the isolation openings, so that the isolation layer isolates the light-emitting functional layers of adjacent light-emitting devices, thereby preventing crosstalk between the light-emitting devices. A power supply line is provided in at least a portion of the non-display area excluding the first side circuit area. That is, a power supply line may not be provided in the first side circuit area, so the distance between the dam and the display area does not include the border width occupied by the power supply line. Compared to display panels in related arts, the distance between the dam and the display area can be reduced, thereby reducing the width of the first border area, thereby facilitating the realization of a narrow border and increasing the screen-to-body ratio. [0020] Existing display panels have difficulty in achieving narrow borders and have a small screen-to-body ratio. The inventors have discovered that the reason for the above-mentioned problem is that the existing display panel includes multiple light-emitting devices, wherein the light-emitting device includes a stacked anode, a light-emitting layer, and a cathode, wherein the cathodes of the multiple light-emitting devices are interconnected to form a cathode layer, and the cathode layer is a whole-surface structure. When manufacturing the display panel, after the light-emitting layer is formed, the cathode layer is laid on the entire surface of one side of the light-emitting layer. In existing display panels, in order to ensure the display effect of the display panel, the cathode needs to be transparent, so the thickness of the cathode layer is relatively thin, generally around 100 angstroms, which makes the square resistance of the cathode layer larger. Accordingly, when the cathode voltage is transmitted in the cathode layer, the voltage drop will be relatively large. In order to alleviate the voltage drop of the cathode voltage, a cathode power supply line surrounding the display area is usually set in the non-display area. The cathode power supply line can be connected to the cathode layer at multiple locations around the display area. For example, for a rectangular display panel, the cathode power supply line is connected to the cathode layer at the upper, lower, left, and right borders of the display panel. FIG1 is a schematic diagram of the frame structure of one side of a display panel in the related art, wherein the frame width of the display panel is equal to the sum of the distance between the dam and the display area (the first distance c in FIG1 ), the frame width occupied by the dam (the second distance b in FIG1 ), and the distance between the dam and the edge of the display panel (the third distance c in FIG1 ). The distance between the dam and the display area (the first distance c in FIG1 ) includes the frame width occupied by the cathode power supply line (the first width c1 in FIG1 ) and the frame width occupied by the frame circuit (the second width c2 in FIG1 ), wherein the frame short circuit may include a gate drive circuit. Therefore, setting the cathode power supply line as described above requires that the cathode power supply line needs to occupy multiple frames of the display panel, which is not conducive to the realization of a narrow frame.
[0021] An embodiment of the present application provides a display panel, FIG2 is a top view of a display panel provided by an embodiment of the present application, FIG3 is a cross-sectional view of a display panel provided by an embodiment of the present application, and FIG4 is a cross-sectional view of another display panel provided by an embodiment of the present application. FIG3 can be obtained by cutting along the section line BB' corresponding to FIG2, and FIG4 can be obtained by cutting along the section line CC' corresponding to FIG2. Referring to FIG2-FIG4, the display panel includes: a display area AA and a non-display area NAA connected to the display area AA; the display panel also includes a substrate 100; a plurality of light-emitting devices 300, the light-emitting device 300 includes a first electrode 310, a light-emitting functional layer 320 and a second electrode 330 stacked on the substrate 100; an isolation layer 20, the isolation layer 20 includes a plurality of isolation openings 201, the light-emitting functional layer 320 is located in the isolation opening 201, and the isolation layer 20 is used to isolate the light-emitting devices 300 from each other. A light-functional layer 320; a thin-film encapsulation layer 500, covering at least a plurality of light-emitting devices 300, the thin-film encapsulation layer 500 including at least an organic encapsulation layer 510; a dam 600, arranged in the non-display area NAA, and located on the same side of the substrate 100 as the isolation layer 20; the projection of the dam 600 on the substrate surrounds the display area AA, and the dam 600 is used to block the organic encapsulation layer 510; a power supply line 700, the power supply line 700 is electrically connected to the second electrode 330; the non-display area NAA includes a first border area NAA1, the first border area NAA1 includes a first side circuit area NAA11 between the dam 600 and the display area AA, the power supply line 700 is arranged in the non-display area NAA excluding at least a portion of the first side circuit area NAA11 (that is, the power supply line 700 is arranged in the non-display area NAA, and the power supply line 700 is not arranged in the first side circuit area NAA11).
[0022] The substrate 100 can provide cushioning, protection, or support for the display device. The substrate 100 can be a flexible substrate made of polyimide (PI), polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or a mixture of these materials. The substrate 100 can also be a rigid substrate made of materials such as glass.
[0023] In some optional embodiments of the present application, the isolation layer 20 further includes a pixel defining layer 200 and an isolation structure 400; the pixel defining layer 200 is arranged on one side of the substrate 100 of the display panel, and the isolation structure 400 is arranged on the side of the pixel defining layer 200 away from the substrate 100; the isolation structure 400 encloses a first opening 401, and the pixel defining layer 200 encloses a second opening 210, and the orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100 is within the orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100; the isolation opening 201 includes the first opening 401 and the second opening 210; the light-emitting functional layer 320 is at least partially located within the second opening 210.
[0024] The orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100 is within the orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100, including a case where the orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100 completely overlaps with the orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100, and also including a case where the orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100 partially overlaps with the orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100, and the orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100 is completely within the orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100.
[0025] The pixel defining layer 200 includes a plurality of second openings 210, and a light-emitting functional layer 320 of a light-emitting device 300 is arranged in each second opening 210. The pixel defining layer 200 can be made of organic materials such as acrylic organic compounds, polyamide, or polyimide, or inorganic materials such as silicon oxide, silicon nitride, silicon oxynitride, or aluminum oxide. The embodiments of the present application are not limited here.
[0026] The light-emitting device 300 includes a first electrode 310, a light-emitting functional layer 320, and a second electrode 330 stacked on a substrate 100. Optionally, the first electrode 310 serves as the anode of the light-emitting device 300, and the second electrode 330 serves as the cathode of the light-emitting device 300. The anode can have a three-layer structure, wherein the first and third layers can be metal oxide layers, such as indium tin oxide (ITO), indium zinc oxide (IZO), or aluminum zinc oxide (AZO), and the second layer in the middle can be a metal layer (such as silver or copper). The first electrode 310 is connected to the pixel circuit and receives a drive signal from the pixel circuit. The cathode can be an ITO transparent electrode or a magnesium-silver alloy. The light-emitting functional layer 320 can include only a single film layer, that is, only a light-emitting material layer; or it can include a multilayer structure formed by a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light-emitting material layer, an electron transport layer, and an electron injection layer stacked on one side of the substrate 110. Furthermore, the light-emitting functional layer 320 includes at least a red light-emitting layer, a green light-emitting layer, and a blue light-emitting layer, thereby enabling display of multiple colors.
[0027] The isolation structure 400 is located in the display area AA, and the light-emitting functional layer 320 of the light-emitting device 300 is separated by the isolation structure 400, thereby avoiding color crosstalk between different light-emitting devices 300. The isolation structure 400 has a certain thickness, and the thickness of the isolation structure 400 is greater than the thickness of the cathode. For example, when preparing the display panel, after the isolation structure 400 is prepared, the light-emitting layer can be evaporated using the isolation structure 400 as a mask, and then the light-emitting functional layer 320 of adjacent light-emitting devices 300 can be separated at the isolation structure 400 by the isolation structure 400. The light-emitting functional layer 320 can be non-contact with the isolation structure 400, thereby avoiding color crosstalk when the adjacent light-emitting devices 300 emit different colors. In addition, the use of a precision mask for evaporating the light-emitting functional layer 320 in the related art can be saved. When forming a cathode on the light-emitting functional layer 320, for example, by evaporating the cathode using a universal mask, the presence of the isolation structure 400 separates the cathode into multiple independent cathodes corresponding one to each of the light-emitting devices 300. The cathode preparation process is not limited to the evaporation process described above, and sputtering or other processes may also be used, which is not limited in this embodiment. It should be noted that when both the light-emitting functional layer 320 and the cathode 330 are formed using the evaporation process, the evaporation angle can be adjusted to achieve a non-contact between the light-emitting functional layer 320 and the isolation structure 400, while the cathode 300 and the isolation structure 400 are in contact, thereby achieving overlap between the two.
[0028] Continuing with reference to Figures 3 and 4, the display panel also includes a thin film encapsulation layer 500. Optionally, the thin film encapsulation layer 500 includes a first inorganic encapsulation layer 520, an organic encapsulation layer 510, and a second inorganic encapsulation layer 530 stacked to ensure a better encapsulation effect. The thin film encapsulation layer 500 covers at least a plurality of light-emitting devices 300. The thin film encapsulation layer 500 may also cover at least a portion of the circuit structure and signal lines in the non-display area NAA to encapsulate the light-emitting devices 300 and circuit structure in the display panel, thereby preventing the light-emitting devices 300 and circuit components from being corroded by water, oxygen, etc., thereby ensuring that the display panel has a long service life.
[0029] The organic encapsulation layer 510 is made of a fluid organic material. To block the organic encapsulation layer 510, the display panel also includes a dam 600 located in the non-display area NAA. The projection of the dam 600 on the substrate surrounds the display area AA, and the dam 600 is used to block the organic encapsulation layer 510. The dam 600 and the pixel-defining layer 200 are located on the same side of the substrate 100. Optionally, the portion of the pixel-defining layer 200 in the non-display area NAA can at least partially serve as the dam 600.
[0030] 4 , the display panel further includes a power supply line 700, which is electrically connected to the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330, wherein the power supply line 700 can be connected to the second electrode 330 through the isolation structure 400, and can also be connected to the isolation structure 400 through the second electrode 330. The power supply line 700 can be connected to a power supply that outputs the voltage required by the second electrode 330, and then transmit the voltage output by the power supply to the second electrode 330. Referring to FIG. 2 to FIG. 4 , in this embodiment, the non-display area NAA includes a first border area NAA1, and the first border area NAA1 includes a first side circuit area NAA11 between the dam 600 and the display area AA. The power supply line 700 is arranged in the non-display area NAA, and the power supply line 700 is arranged in at least a portion of the area other than the first side circuit area NAA11. The display panel may include multiple border areas, and the multiple border areas may include at least one first border area NAA1. The multiple border areas may also include other border areas in addition to the first border area NAA1, wherein Figures 2 and 4 schematically illustrate a case where the display panel also includes a second border area NAA2, and the power supply line 700 is located in the second border area NAA2 of the display panel, wherein the second border area NAA2 is a border area of the display panel that is different from the first border area NAA1. In some optional embodiments, the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 partially overlap, for example, the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 both include the lower left corner area and the lower right corner area of the display panel, in which case the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 partially overlap. In some other optional embodiments, the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 do not overlap. For example, one of the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 includes the lower left corner area and the lower right corner area of the display panel, while the other does not. In this case, the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 do not overlap. However, regardless of whether the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 overlap, the first border area NAA1 and the second border area NAA2 are different border areas.
[0031] 3 , optionally, the first side circuit area NAA11 is provided with a gate driving circuit 800 , and the gate driving circuit 800 includes a scanning circuit for generating a scanning signal and / or a light emitting control circuit for generating a light emitting control signal.
[0032] The output end of the scanning circuit is connected to the scanning line S0, and the scanning circuit can output a scanning signal to the scanning line S0. The display panel may also include a light-emission control signal line. The output end of the light-emission control circuit is connected to the light-emission control signal line, and the light-emission control circuit can output a light-emission control signal to the light-emission control signal line. The display panel includes a pixel circuit for driving the light-emitting device 300 to emit light. The pixel circuit is respectively connected to the scanning line S0 and the light-emission control signal line, and drives the light-emitting device 300 according to the scanning signal transmitted by the scanning line S0 and the light-emission control signal transmitted by the light-emission control signal line.
[0033] The border width w1 of the display panel corresponding to the first border area NAA1 shown in FIG3 is equal to the sum of the distance between the dam 600 and the display area AA (the first distance c in FIG3 ), the border width occupied by the dam 600 (the second distance b in FIG3 ), and the distance between the dam 600 and the edge of the display panel (the third distance a in FIG3 ). In conjunction with FIG3 and FIG4 , in this embodiment, the power supply line 700 is arranged in the non-display area NAA, at least in part of the area except the first side circuit area NAA11, that is, the power supply line 700 is not arranged in the first side circuit area NAA11, so the distance between the dam 600 and the display area AA (the first distance c in FIG3 ) does not include the border width occupied by the power supply line 700. When the gate drive circuit 800 is provided in the first side circuit area NAA11, the first side circuit area NAA1 includes the gate drive circuit 800. The border width occupied by the dam 600 does not include the border width occupied by the power line 700; compared with the display panel shown in Figure 1, the distance between the dam 600 and the display area AA (the first distance c in Figure 1) includes the border width occupied by the cathode power line (the first width c1 in Figure 1) and the border width occupied by the border circuit (which can be the gate drive circuit) (the first width c2 in Figure 1), the distance between the dam 600 and the display area AA can be reduced, thereby reducing the width of the first border area NAA1, which is conducive to the realization of a narrow border.
[0034] In this embodiment, because an isolation structure 400 is provided in the display area AA, the isolation structure 400 optionally overlaps the second electrodes 330 of at least a portion of the light-emitting devices 300 in the display panel. The second electrodes 330 of multiple light-emitting devices 300 in the display panel can be interconnected via the isolation structure 400. The display panel may further include a conductive connection layer different from the layer in which the isolation structure 400 is located, the conductive connection layer connecting the second electrodes 330 of the multiple light-emitting devices 300. By selecting a material having a lower resistivity than that of the second electrodes 330 as the material for the isolation structure 400 (or the conductive connection layer), and / or increasing the thickness of the isolation structure 400 (or the conductive connection layer), the overall structure connecting the second electrodes 330 and the isolation structure 400 (or the conductive connection layer) can have a lower resistance than that of the entire cathode layer in the related art, thereby reducing the voltage drop when transmitting the required voltage across the second electrodes 330 in the display area AA. In this embodiment, the number of power lines 700 in the non-display area NAA can be reduced, and the power lines 700 may no longer be provided in the side circuit area of the first frame area NAA1, thereby facilitating the realization of a narrow frame.
[0035] The display panel of this embodiment provides an isolation layer in the display area. The isolation layer includes multiple isolation openings, and the light-emitting functional layer is located within the isolation openings. This allows the isolation layer to isolate the light-emitting functional layers of adjacent light-emitting devices, thereby preventing crosstalk between the light-emitting devices. Power supply lines are provided in at least a portion of the non-display area, excluding the first side circuit area. That is, power supply lines are not provided in the first side circuit area. Therefore, the distance between the dam and the display area does not include the width of the border occupied by the power supply lines. Compared to display panels in related arts, this can reduce the distance between the dam and the display area, thereby reducing the width of the first border area, thereby facilitating the realization of a narrow border and increasing the screen-to-body ratio.
[0036] Continuing to refer to Figures 2 to 4, on the basis of the above technical solution, the display panel also includes a scan line S0 and a data line D0, the scan line S0 extends along the first direction x1, the data line D0 extends along the second direction y1, and the first direction x1 and the second direction y1 intersect; the non-display area NAA includes two first border areas NAA1 opposite to each other along the first direction x1; the non-display area NAA also includes a second border area NAA2, and along the second direction y1, the second border area NAA2 is located on one side of the display area AA; the power line 700 is at least partially arranged in the second border area NAA2.
[0037] When the display panel is a rectangular display panel as shown in FIG2 , the two first border areas NAA1 of the display panel are respectively the left border and the right border of the display panel, and the second border area NAA2 of the display panel is the bottom border of the display panel. The non-display area NAA also includes a third border area NAA3 opposite to the second border area NAA2 along the second direction y1, and the third border area NAA3 of the display panel is the upper border of the display panel. In this embodiment, in the first side circuit area NAA11 of the two first border areas NAA1 opposite to each other along the first direction x1 of the display panel, no power supply line 700 is provided, so that the widths of the two first border areas NAA1 opposite to each other along the first direction x1 are both narrower, which is more conducive to the realization of a narrow border, and can make it easier to make the widths of the two first border areas NAA1 more consistent, thereby ensuring the aesthetics of the display panel and enhancing the user viewing experience.
[0038] Optionally, the second border area NAA2 includes a second side circuit area NAA21 between the dam 600 and the display area AA, and the power line 700 is at least partially arranged in the second side circuit area NAA21; the second border area NAA2 is provided with a driving chip for providing data signals (not shown in the figure).
[0039] Because the second border area NAA2 itself needs to be provided with a driver chip to output data signals to the data line D0, the second border area NAA2 itself has a certain width. The voltage required for the second electrode 330 can be provided by the driver chip. In this case, the power line 700 is set in the second side circuit area NAA21, which can facilitate the voltage required for the second electrode 330 output by the driver chip to be led to the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330 in the display area AA, and the length of the power line 700 does not need to be set too long, further facilitating the realization of a narrow border. The voltage required for the second electrode 330 can also be provided by an additional power supply, which is usually set in the same border area as the driver chip (i.e., the second border area NAA2) or bent to the backlight side of the display panel. In this case, the power line 700 is set in the second side circuit area NAA21, which can also facilitate the voltage required for the second electrode 330 output by the driver chip to be led to the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330 in the display area AA, and the length of the power line 700 does not need to be set too long, further facilitating the realization of a narrow border.
[0040] It should be noted that in some optional embodiments of the present application, the power lines 700 can be entirely arranged in the second border area NAA2, so that the widths of the border areas except the second border area NAA2 can be reduced, so that the display panel can achieve a narrow border.
[0041] In another optional embodiment of the present application, the power supply line may be partially set in the second border area NAA2 and partially set in other border areas.
[0042] FIG5 is a cross-sectional view of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. FIG5 can be obtained by cutting along section line BB′ corresponding to FIG2 . In conjunction with FIG2 , FIG4 and FIG5 , optionally, in the first border area NAA1 , the power trace 700 includes a first trace portion 710 disposed between the dam 600 and the substrate 100 , and the orthographic projection of the first trace portion 710 on the substrate 100 is covered by the orthographic projection of the dam 600 on the substrate 100 ;
[0043] The power trace 700 further includes a second trace portion 720 disposed in the second border area NAA2 , and the first trace portion 710 is connected to the second electrode 330 via the second trace portion 720 . Optionally, the first trace portion 710 is connected to the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330 via the second trace portion 720 .
[0044] Since the setting of the dam 600 itself needs to occupy the frame, in this embodiment, the first routing portion 710 of the power routing 700 is set between the dam 600 and the substrate 100, and the orthographic projection of the first routing portion 710 on the substrate 100 is covered by the orthographic projection of the dam 600 on the substrate 100, so that the first routing portion 710 does not occupy the frame of the display panel additionally relative to the dam 600. On the one hand, the power routing 700 can be set in the first frame area NAA1, which is beneficial to alleviate the voltage drop during the transmission of the required voltage of the second electrode 330; on the other hand, the width of the first frame area NAA1 can be made narrower, which is beneficial to the realization of a narrow frame.
[0045] 5 , optionally, a distance (a fourth distance d in FIG. 5 ) between an edge of the first wiring portion 710 away from the display area AA and an edge of the dam 600 away from the display area AA is greater than zero.
[0046] The provision of dam 600 creates an undulating curved surface on the thin-film encapsulation layer 500 at the location of dam 600, which extends the intrusion path for water, oxygen, and other substances. The dam 600 itself also acts as a barrier to water and oxygen. The orthographic projection of the first routing portion 710 on the substrate 100 is covered by the orthographic projection of the dam 600 on the substrate 100. Furthermore, the distance between the edge of the first routing portion 710 away from the display area AA and the edge of the dam 600 away from the display area AA is greater than zero. This prevents the first routing portion 710 from extending beyond the dam 600, making it less susceptible to corrosion by water, oxygen, and other substances. This ensures the signal transmission performance of the first routing portion 710 and ensures a good display quality for the display panel.
[0047] With reference to Figures 4 and 5, in some optional embodiments of the present application, the power supply line 700 is made of the same material as the conductive structure in the display panel and is arranged in the same layer, and is prepared simultaneously using the same process, which can achieve the purpose of saving preparation steps. Exemplarily, the power supply line 700 can be made of the same material as the source and drain of the transistor included in the pixel circuit in the display panel and is arranged in the same layer, and is prepared simultaneously using the same process. As shown in Figure 5, the power supply line 700 and the isolation structure 400 can be connected through a first connection structure L1 in the non-display area NAA that is in the same layer as the first electrode 210, and a second connection structure L2 in the same layer as the isolation structure 400.
[0048] Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. Figure 6 can be obtained by cutting along the section line CC' corresponding to Figure 2. In another optional embodiment of the present application, the power line 700 and the isolation structure 400 are made of the same material and are arranged in the same layer, and are prepared simultaneously using the same process; thereby saving preparation steps, making the preparation process of the display panel relatively simple, and the connection between the power line 700 and the isolation structure 400 does not need to be bridged through other connection structures, and the connection between the two is easier to achieve.
[0049] Figure 7 is a top view of another display panel provided by an embodiment of the present application. Continuing to refer to Figures 3 to 7, optionally, the orthographic projection of the isolation structure 400 on the pixel defining layer 200 is located between adjacent second openings 210; the isolation structure 400 includes a supporting portion 410 and a blocking portion 420, and the supporting portion 410 is located between the blocking portion 420 and the pixel defining layer 200; the orthographic projection of the blocking portion 420 on the pixel defining layer 200 covers the orthographic projection of the supporting portion 410 on the pixel defining layer 200; the second electrode 330 of the light-emitting device 300 on at least one side of the isolation structure 400 overlaps with the supporting portion 410 of the isolation structure 400, and the supporting portion 410 is conductive.
[0050] The support portion 410 may be made of a conductive material. The second electrodes 330 of adjacent light-emitting devices 300 are all connected to the support portion 410, so that the second electrodes 330 of adjacent light-emitting devices 300 are electrically connected via the support portion 410. The support portion 410 may be made of aluminum and / or copper. The barrier portion 420 may be made of a conductive material and / or an insulating material. For example, the barrier portion 420 may be made of titanium, silicon nitride, or silicon oxide.
[0051] Figure 8 is an enlarged view of the isolation structure provided in an embodiment of the present application. In combination with Figures 3 to 8, optionally, in the direction z1 of the line connecting the second openings 210 on both sides of the isolation structure 400, at the position where the supporting portion 410 and the blocking portion 420 are connected, the size r1 of the supporting portion 410 is smaller than the size r2 of the blocking portion 420.
[0052] In the direction z1 connecting the second openings 210 on both sides of the isolation structure 400, at the location where the support portion 410 and the blocking portion 420 meet, the dimension r1 of the support portion 410 is smaller than the dimension r2 of the blocking portion 420. This creates an undercut structure on the side of the isolation structure 400. This allows the light-emitting layers of adjacent light-emitting devices 300 to be cut off at the location of the isolation structure 400 during vapor deposition of the light-emitting layers of the light-emitting devices 300 in the display panel. Furthermore, the second electrodes 330 of the light-emitting devices 300 can also be formed using an evaporation process. By controlling the different evaporation angles during the evaporation of the second electrode 330 and the light-emitting layer, the second electrode 330 can be connected to the support portion 410 of the isolation structure 400. This allows the second electrodes 330 of multiple light-emitting devices 300 in the display panel to be interconnected via the isolation structure 400.
[0053] It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the shape of the isolation structure 400 is not limited to the shape shown in FIG8 , as long as the light-emitting functional layer of the light-emitting device 300 is isolated, the size of the support portion 410 is smaller than the size of the barrier portion 420 at the position where the support portion 410 and the barrier portion 420 meet.
[0054] Continuing with reference to Figures 3-6 , based on the aforementioned embodiments, the thickness h1 of the support portion 410 can optionally be greater than the thickness of the second electrode 330 . This allows the light-emitting functional layers 320 and second electrodes 330 to be more easily isolated from each other by the isolation structure 400 during fabrication, and the second electrodes 330 of adjacent light-emitting devices 300 can also be more easily isolated from each other by the isolation structure 400 , further facilitating the prevention of color crosstalk between adjacent light-emitting devices 300. Furthermore, the thicker support portion 410 can reduce the square resistance of the isolation structure 400, thereby reducing the voltage drop in the display area AA when the voltage required by the second electrode 330 is transmitted.
[0055] Optionally, the thickness of the support portion 410 is greater than or equal to 5000 angstroms. For example, the thickness of the support portion 410 may be 5000 angstroms, 5500 angstroms, or 6000 angstroms. A thickness of the support portion 410 greater than or equal to 5000 angstroms allows the support portion 410 to be relatively thick, thereby ensuring that the support portion 410 can block the light-emitting functional layer 320 and having a relatively low sheet resistance.
[0056] In some optional embodiments of the present application, the thickness of the support portion 410 is less than or equal to 8000 angstroms. This ensures that the thickness of the display panel will not be significantly increased due to the provision of the isolation structure 400, while ensuring that the support portion 410 has a partitioning effect on the light-emitting functional layer 320 and has a smaller square resistance, thereby ensuring that the display panel is light and thin.
[0057] 3-7 , optionally, in display area AA, the orthographic projection of the isolation structure 400 on the substrate 100 coincides with the orthographic projection of the pixel defining layer 200 on the substrate 100. The orthographic projection of the first opening 401 on the substrate 100 completely overlaps with the orthographic projection of the second opening 210 on the substrate 100.
[0058] The orthographic projection of the isolation structure 400 on the substrate 100 coincides with the orthographic projection of the pixel defining layer 200 on the substrate 100, meaning that the isolation structure 400 is disposed in all corresponding regions except for the region corresponding to the second opening 210 of the pixel defining layer 200. This arrangement ensures, on the one hand, that the isolation structure 400 has a larger cross-sectional area, resulting in a lower resistance of the isolation structure 400, and thus a lower resistance of the overall structure connecting the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330, thereby reducing the transmission voltage drop required by the second electrode 330. Furthermore, during the deposition of the light-emitting functional layer 320, the light-emitting functional layer 320 is separated by the isolation structure 400 and confined within the second opening 210 of the pixel defining layer 200, thereby ensuring the performance of the light-emitting device 300.
[0059] Continuing to refer to FIG. 7 , optionally, the distance m1 between adjacent second openings 210 is greater than or equal to 3 micrometers.
[0060] The distance m1 between adjacent second openings 210 is greater than or equal to 3 microns, which can make the cross-sectional area of the isolation structure 400 on the side of the pixel defining layer 200 away from the substrate 100 larger, so that the resistance of the isolation structure 400 is smaller, and thus the resistance of the overall structure connecting the isolation structure 400 and the second electrode 330 is smaller, so that the transmission voltage drop of the voltage required by the second electrode 330 is smaller; and thus the setting of the power line 700 in the non-display area NAA can be reduced, which is conducive to the realization of a narrow frame.
[0061] The present application also provides a display device. FIG9 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device provided in an embodiment of the present application.
