[0048] A connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may be a B2B connector for electrically connecting two different substrates.

[0049] That is, a connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be physically connected to a corresponding connector (200) as illustrated in FIG. 1, and when physically connected to the corresponding connector (200), two different substrates can be electrically connected.

[0050] In this case, the connector (100) can be mounted on one module board (not shown), and the corresponding connector (200) can be mounted on another module board (not shown).

[0051] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are physically connected to each other, the module board on which the connector (100) is mounted and the module board on which the corresponding connector (200) is mounted can be electrically connected to each other.

[0052] In the present invention, the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) may be provided with at least a portion corresponding to each other in a shape so that they can be physically coupled to each other, and each of the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) may be configured to simultaneously transmit an RF (Radio Frequency) signal and a general signal.

[0053] Additionally, the connector (100) may be a receptacle connector, and the corresponding connector (200) may be a plug connector.

[0054] However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the connector (100) may be a plug connector, and the corresponding connector (200) may be a receptacle connector.

[0055] At this time, when the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention is physically coupled to the corresponding connector (200), the corresponding contacts can form multiple contact points.

[0056] In addition, the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be configured so that the possibility of damage due to contact when coupled with the corresponding connector (100) can be reduced.

[0057] That is, the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can secure contact stability through a multi-contact structure of contacts that correspond to each other while reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact when coupled with the corresponding connector (100).

[0058] To this end, a connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a receptacle insulating body (110), a shield member (120), and a contact portion (130) as shown in FIGS. 2 to 6.

[0059] The above insulating body (110) may be made of an electrically insulating material and may define the overall external shape of the connector (100). For example, the above insulating body (110) may have an approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5.

[0060] At this time, the insulating body (110) can be configured so that, when coupled with the corresponding connector (200) as described above, corresponding contacts can form multiple contact points.

[0061] To this end, the insulating body (110) may include a plate-shaped bottom portion (111) having a predetermined area, and three straight island portions (112, 113, 114) formed to have a predetermined length along the first axis direction, which is the longitudinal direction, and protruding from the bottom portion (111) at a predetermined height.

[0062] That is, the insulating body (110) may include three straight islands (112, 113, 114) formed along a first axis direction which is a longitudinal direction, and the three straight islands (112, 113, 114) may be spaced apart from each other along a second axis direction which is perpendicular to the first axis, and a plurality of receiving spaces (S1, S2, S3) may be formed in the insulating body (110) through the three straight islands (112, 113, 114).

[0063] For example, the insulating body (110) may include a first island portion (112), a second island portion (113), and a third island portion (114) formed to have a predetermined length along the first axis direction, which is the longitudinal direction, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, and spaced apart at a predetermined interval along the second axis direction, which is the width direction, and three receiving spaces (S1, S2, S3) may be formed through the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114).

[0064] In this case, the first island portion (112) may be arranged in the central portion, and the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) may be arranged at intervals along the second axis direction so that one side of each side of the first island portion (112) faces each other, and the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114) may each protrude from the bottom portion (111) by a certain height.

[0065] Accordingly, a first receiving space (S1) can be formed between the first island portion (112) and the second island portion (113), a second receiving space (S2) can be formed between the first island portion (112) and the third island portion (114), and a third receiving space (S3) can be formed to surround the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114).

[0066] That is, as illustrated in FIG. 6, the first receiving space (S1) and the second receiving space (S2) may be formed to be located on opposite sides with respect to the first island portion (112), and the insulating body (110) may have the third island portion (114), the second receiving space (S2), the first island portion (112), the first receiving space (S1), and the second island portion (113) sequentially arranged along the width direction.

[0067] In this case, the insulating body (110) may include a border portion (117) that extends a certain height from the border of the bottom portion (111) to surround the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114), and the third receiving space (S3) may be formed to be located between the second island portion (113), the third island portion (114), and the border portion (117).

[0068] Here, the first receiving space (S1) and the second receiving space (S2) can receive a ring-shaped island portion (212) of a corresponding connector (200) to be described later, and the contact portion (130) can form multiple contact points with the contact portion (230) of the corresponding connector (200) when the ring-shaped island portion (212) is inserted into the first receiving space (S1) and the second receiving space (S2). A detailed description thereof will be described later.

[0069] At this time, the first island portion (112) may be formed to have a relatively shorter length than the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114), and the first island portion (112) may be arranged so that both ends are positioned in the middle of the length of the second island portion (113) and the middle of the length of the third island portion (114).

[0070] Accordingly, a placement space defined by the side surface of the second island portion (113), the side surface of the third island portion (114), and the front surface of the first island portion (112) can be formed at one end of the first island portion (112), and a placement space defined by the side surface of the second island portion (113), the side surface of the third island portion (114), and the rear surface of the first island portion (112) can be formed at the other end of the first island portion (112).

[0071] Through this, some of the contacts of the contact portion (130) can be arranged to be located in the arrangement space. For example, the RF contact (131) of the contact portion (130) can be arranged to be located in the arrangement space.

[0072] The above shield member (120) can prevent damage to the insulating body (110) due to excessive pressure when combined with the corresponding connector (200), while also shielding electromagnetic waves coming in from the outside.

[0073] In addition, the shield member (120) can shield electromagnetic waves generated from the contact portion (130) coupled to the insulating body (110).

[0074] For this purpose, the shield member (120) may be made of a metal material, but is not limited thereto, and any of various known materials may be applied as long as they have a certain strength and conductivity.

[0075] A shield member (120) like this can be combined with the insulating body (110) so as to surround the entire perimeter of the insulating body (110) as shown in FIGS. 2 to 6.

[0076] That is, the shield member (120) can be coupled to a border portion (117) extending from the bottom portion (111) to a certain height, and when the shield member (120) is coupled to the border portion (117), the shield member (120) can be arranged to surround the entire border of the insulating body (110).

[0077] Through this, when the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention is combined with the corresponding connector (200), the shield member (120) can come into contact with the shield member (220) of the corresponding connector (200) and be electrically connected, thereby forming a ground together with the shield contact (133) described later.

[0078] The above contact portion (130) can be coupled to the insulating body (110) and can be electrically connected to the outside.

[0079] To this end, the contact portion (130) may be made of a conductive material such as a metal material, and may be coupled to the insulating body (110) so that at least a portion thereof is exposed to the outside.

[0080] The contact portion (130) may include a plurality of contacts for a predetermined function, and the plurality of contacts may be coupled to the insulating body (110) so as to be in contact with the contact or substrate of the corresponding connector (200).

[0081] For example, the contact portion (130) may be provided on the insulating body (110) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surfaces of the three straight island portions (112, 113, 114) that protrude from the bottom portion (111) at a certain height as described above.

[0082] Here, the contact portion (130) may be detachably coupled to the insulating body (110), and may be formed integrally with the insulating body (110) through insert molding.

[0083] Accordingly, the contact portion (130) can form an electrical contact with the contact portion (230) of the corresponding connector (200) when coupled with the corresponding connector (200).

[0084] At this time, the contact portion (130) may be configured to transmit RF (Radio Frequency) signals and general signals simultaneously as described above, and the contact portion (130) may be provided in the insulating body (110) so as to form multiple contact points with the contact portion (230) of the corresponding connector (200).

[0085] For example, the contact portion (130) may include an RF contact (131) for transmitting an RF signal, a signal contact (132) for transmitting a general signal, and a shield contact (133) for electrical shielding, and each of the RF contact (131), the signal contact (132), and the shield contact (133) may be provided in the insulating body (110) so as to form multiple contacts with the contact portion (230) of the corresponding connector (200).

[0086] In addition, each of the RF contact (131), signal contact (132) and shield contact (133) may be provided in multiple pieces spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction.

[0087] In this case, the RF contact (131) and shield contact (133) may be provided in the insulating body (110) so as to form multiple contact points in the arrangement space, and the signal contact (132) may be provided in the insulating body (110) so as to form multiple contact points in the first receiving space (S1) or the second receiving space (S2).

[0088] As a specific example, the RF contact (131) may include a first RF contact (131-1) and a second RF contact (131-2) spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction as illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 7.

[0089] In this case, the RF contact (131) may be provided on the insulating body (110) so that it can be in contact with the RF contact (231) provided on the connecting island (213) at two locations while surrounding the connecting island (213) inserted into the arrangement space as shown in FIG. 26 when coupled with the counterpart connector (200).

[0090] In addition, the RF contact (131) may be positioned on the outside of the first island portion (112) so as to be spaced apart from the front or back surface of the first island portion (112) by a certain distance while being positioned between the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) facing each other, and may be positioned so as to be positioned in a placement space defined by the side surface of the second island portion (113), the side surface of the third island portion (114), and the front or back surface of the first island portion (112) facing each other.

[0091] That is, the first RF contact (131-1) may be arranged on the outside of the first island portion (112) so as to be positioned in the arrangement space while being spaced apart from the front surface of the first island portion (112) by a certain distance along the first axis direction, and the second RF contact (131-2) may be arranged on the outside of the first island portion (112) so as to be positioned in the arrangement space while being spaced apart from the rear surface of the first island portion (112) by a certain distance along the first axis direction.

[0092] Here, the first RF contact (131-1) may be positioned between an imaginary straight line connecting the front surface of the second island portion (113) and the front surface of the third island portion (114) and the front surface of the first island portion (112), and the second RF contact (131-2) may be positioned between an imaginary straight line connecting the rear surface of the second island portion (113) and the rear surface of the third island portion (114) and the rear surface of the first island portion (112).

[0093] To this end, the first RF contact (131-1) may include a buried portion (131a) embedded in the bottom portion (111) while being spaced apart from the front surface of the first island portion (112) along the first axis direction by a certain distance, as shown in FIGS. 7, 8, and 11, a first movable portion (131b) extending from one end of the buried portion (131a) to enable elastic deformation by an external force, and a second movable portion (131c) extending from the other end of the buried portion (131a) to enable elastic deformation by an external force.

[0094] Here, each of the first movable part (131b) and the second movable part (131c) may extend to a certain height along a third axis direction perpendicular to the first and second axes, and may be provided to be exposed to the outside within the arrangement space.

[0095] In addition, the insulating body (110) may include a movable space (116) formed in each of the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) so as to be introduced along the third axis direction, which is the height direction, and each of the first movable portion (131b) and the second movable portion (131c) may be positioned within the movable space (116).

[0097] Accordingly, the first RF contact (131-1) can be fixed to the insulating body (110) through the embedded portion (131a), and can smoothly form a double contact with the RF contact (231-1) of the corresponding connector (200) through the first movable portion (131b) and the second movable portion (131c), and can be electrically connected to other components such as a circuit board through the first embedded portion (131aa).

[0098] Likewise, the second RF contact (131-2) may include a buried portion (131a) embedded in the bottom portion (111) while being spaced apart from the rear surface of the first island portion (112) by a predetermined distance in the first axial direction, as illustrated in FIGS. 7, 8, and 11, a first movable portion (131b) extending from one end of the buried portion (131a) to enable elastic deformation by an external force, and a second movable portion (131c) extending from the other end of the buried portion (131a) to enable elastic deformation by an external force.

[0099] Here, each of the first movable part (131b) and the second movable part (131c) may extend to a certain height along a third axis direction perpendicular to the first and second axes, and may be provided to be exposed to the outside within the arrangement space.

[0100] In addition, the insulating body (110) may include a movable space (116) formed in each of the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) so as to be introduced along the third axis direction, which is the height direction, and each of the first movable portion (131b) and the second movable portion (131c) may be positioned within the movable space (116).

[0101] In addition, the above-mentioned embedded portion (131a) may include a first embedded portion (131aa) embedded in the bottom portion (111) and exposed to the outside through the lower surface of the insulating body (110) as shown in FIGS. 8 and 14, and a second embedded portion (131ab) embedded in the bottom portion (111) and extending from the first embedded portion (131aa) so as to connect the first embedded portion (131aa) and the first movable portion (131b) and the second movable portion (131c) to each other.

[0105] In this case, each of the first signal contact (132-1) and the second signal contact (132-2) may be positioned between the first RF contact (131-1) and the second RF contact (131-2) along the first axis direction.

[0106] At this time, the first signal contact (132-1) may be fixed to the second island portion (113) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the second island portion (113), and the second signal contact (132-2) may be fixed to the third island portion (114) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the third island portion (114).

[0107] To this end, the first signal contact (132-1) may include a fixed portion (132a) fixed to the second island portion (113) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the second island portion (113) that protrudes from the bottom portion (111) by a certain height as shown in FIGS. 7 and 12, a bottom portion (132b) that extends from the fixed portion (132a) and is arranged on the bottom surface of the first receiving space (S1), and a movable portion (132c) that extends from the bottom portion (132b) so as to be capable of elastic deformation due to an external force.

[0108] Here, the fixed portion (132a), the bottom portion (132b), and the movable portion (132c) may be provided so that they are all exposed to the outside within the first receiving space (S1), and the insulating body (110) may include a movable space (115) formed along the third axis direction, which is the height direction, in the first island portion (112), and the movable portion (132c) may be arranged to be located within the movable space (115).

[0109] In this case, the first signal contact (132-1) may further include a protruding portion (132d) that protrudes from the fixed portion (132a) toward the first receiving space (S1).

[0110] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention are coupled to each other, as illustrated in FIG. 27, the first signal contact (132-1) can form a double contact with the signal contact (232-1) of the corresponding connector (200) through the protruding portion (132d) and the movable portion (132c) within the first receiving space (S1).

[0111] Similarly, the second signal contact (132-2) may include a fixed portion (132a) fixed to the third island portion (114) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the third island portion (114) that protrudes from the bottom portion (111) by a certain height as shown in FIGS. 7 and 12, a bottom portion (132b) that extends from the fixed portion (132a) and is arranged on the bottom surface of the second receiving space (S2), and a movable portion (132c) that extends from the bottom portion (132b) so as to be capable of elastic deformation due to an external force.

[0112] Here, the fixed portion (132a), the bottom portion (132b), and the movable portion (132c) may be provided so that they are all exposed to the outside within the water-receiving space (S2), and the insulating body (110) may include a movable space (115) formed along the third axis direction, which is the height direction, in the first island portion (112), and the movable portion (132c) may be arranged to be located within the movable space (115).

[0113] In this case, the second signal contact (132-2) may further include a protruding portion (132d) that protrudes from the fixed portion (132a) toward the second receiving space (S2).

[0114] Accordingly, when a connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention is coupled with a corresponding connector (200), the second signal contact (132-1) can form a double contact with the signal contact (232-2) of the corresponding connector (200) through the protruding portion (132d) and the movable portion (132c) within the second receiving space (S2), as illustrated in FIG. 27.

[0115] Through this, the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention has the first signal contact (132-1) and the second signal contact (132-2) made of a metal material fixed to the second island portion (113) or the third island portion (114) through the fixed portion (132a) so as to surround the surface of the second island portion (113) or the third island portion (114), while the end side close to the first island portion (112) is provided in a movable form, so that the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) can be reinforced in strength through the fixed portion (132a) while forming a double contact with the signal contact (232) of the corresponding connector (200) through the protruding portion (132d) and the movable portion (132c).

[0116] Accordingly, the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can secure current stability while reducing the possibility of damage to the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) due to external force when coupled with the corresponding connector (200), even if the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) are respectively arranged on both sides of the first island portion (112).

[0117] At this time, in the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the insulating body (110) may further include a short-circuit prevention portion (119) extending from the bottom portion (111) to a certain height along the third axis direction.

[0118] Such a short-circuit prevention unit (119) can prevent the solder member from moving in the third axis direction along the signal contact (132) when the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention is SMT-mounted on one side of a circuit board.

[0119] Through this, the short-circuit prevention unit (119) can prevent electrical short-circuiting of the signal contact (132) due to the solder member.

[0120] To this end, the short-circuit prevention part (119) may be provided to cover one surface of the fixing part (132a) fixed to the second island part (113) or the third island part (114) so as to cover the surface of the second island part (113) or the third island part (114).

[0121] In this case, the short-circuit prevention part (119) can be extended from the bottom part (111) to a certain height along the third axis direction.

[0122] For example, the short-circuit prevention part (119) may include a first short-circuit prevention part (119-1) that extends a certain height from the bottom part (111) to cover one surface of the fixed part (132a) of the first signal contact (132-1), as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, and a second short-circuit prevention part (119-2) that extends a certain height from the bottom part (111) to cover one surface of the fixed part (132a) of the second signal contact (132-2).

[0123] Accordingly, even if the frame portion (117) includes a cut portion (118, 118-1, 118-2) formed at a position corresponding to the signal contact (132), and the signal contact (132) is positioned on the side of the cut portion (118), one surface of the fixed portion (132a) of the signal contact (132) can be prevented from being exposed to the outside through the short-circuit prevention portion (119).

[0124] Accordingly, when a connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention is SMT-mounted on one side of a circuit board, a solder member (not shown) for electrically connecting the fixed portion (132a) of the signal contact (132) and the circuit board can be prevented from moving in the third axis direction along the fixed portion (132a) by the short-circuit prevention portion (119).

[0125] Here, each of the first signal contact (132-1) and the second signal contact (132-2) may be provided in multiple numbers and may be spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction.

[0126] That is, the plurality of first signal contacts (132-1) can be arranged so as to be spaced apart from each other while the fixed portion (132a) is fixed to the second island portion (113) along the first axis direction, and the plurality of second signal contacts (132-2) can be arranged so as to be spaced apart from each other while the fixed portion (132a) is fixed to the third island portion (114) along the first axis direction.

[0127] Again, referring to FIGS. 2 to 7, the shield contact (133) may be positioned along the second axis direction in the width direction so as to electrically shield the RF contact (131) and signal contact (132) from each other, and may be positioned between the adjacent RF contact (131) and signal contact (132).

[0128] For example, the shield contact (133) may include a first shield contact (133-1) and a second shield contact (133-2), and the first shield contact (133-1) may be arranged along the second axis direction to be positioned between the first RF contact (131-1) and the signal contact (132), and the second shield contact (133-2) may be arranged along the second axis direction to be positioned between the second RF contact (131-2) and the signal contact (132).

[0129] Accordingly, the first shield contact (133-1) can electrically shield the first RF contact (131-1) and the signal contact (132), and the second shield contact (133-2) can electrically shield the second RF contact (131-2) and the signal contact (132).

[0130] At this time, the shield contact (133) may be arranged to surround the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113) and the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114) while wrapping around the end of the RF contact (131), or may be arranged to surround the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113) and the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114) while wrapping around the end of the RF contact (131).

[0131] That is, the shield contact (133) can be fixed to the insulating body (110) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding both ends of the second island portion (113) and both ends of the third island portion (114) that protrude from the bottom portion (111) by a certain height.

[0132] In addition, the shield contact (133) may be fixed to the insulating body (110) so as to surround both ends of the first island portion (112) that is positioned between the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) and protrudes from the bottom portion (111) by a certain height.

[0133] Accordingly, in the insulating body (110), each of the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114) can be covered by the shield contact (133) made of a metal material at both ends.

[0134] Due to this, the strength of each of the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114) can be reinforced at both ends by the shield contact (133).

[0135] In addition, the RF contact (131) can be placed in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded by the shield contact (133) in at least three directions.

[0136] To this end, the shield contact (133) may include a first portion (133a) that covers the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113) or the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114), a second portion (133b) that covers the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113) or the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114), and a third portion (133c) that covers the front or rear surface of the first island portion (112).

[0137] In this case, the surface of the first island portion (112), the surface of the second island portion (113), and the surface of the third island portion (114) that protrude from the bottom portion (111) at a certain height in the shield contact (133) may be exposed to the outside, while the portion corresponding to the bottom surface of the third receiving space (S3) and the bottom surface of the arrangement space may not be exposed to the outside.

[0138] Additionally, each of the first shield contact (133-1) and the second shield contact (133-2) may be composed of one member, but may also be composed of two physically separated members arranged along the second axis direction.

[0139] In addition, the third part (133c) may be formed integrally with the first part (133a) or may be formed integrally with the second part (133b).

[0140] For example, the first part (133a) includes an upper part (133aa) that covers the upper surface of the second island part (113) or the upper surface of the third island part (114), as shown in FIGS. 6, 7, 9 and 10, a first extension part (133ab) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the outer surface of the second island part (113) or the outer surface of the third island part (114), a second extension part (133ac) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the front surface of the second island part (113) or the rear surface of the third island part (114), and a second extension part (133ac) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the inner surface of the second island part (113) or the inner surface of the third island part (114). It may include a first contact portion (133ad) and a mounting portion (133ae) extending from the end of the first extension portion (133ab) so as to be exposed to the lower surface of the bottom portion (111).

[0141] In addition, the second part (133b) includes an upper part (133ba) that covers the upper surface of the second island part (113) or the upper surface of the third island part (114), a third extension part (133bb) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the outer surface of the second island part (113) or the outer surface of the third island part (114), a fourth extension part (133bc) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the rear surface of the second island part (113) or the front surface of the third island part (114), a second contact part (133bd) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the inner surface of the second island part (113) or the inner surface of the third island part (114), and the bottom surface of the bottom part (111) so as to be exposed to the It may include a mounting portion (133be) extending from the end of the third extension portion (133bb).

[0142] In addition, the third part (133c) may include a third contact part (133ca) extending from the second part (133b) along the height direction of the first island part (112) so as to cover the front or back surface of the first island part (112), and a fixed part (133cb) bent from the end of the third contact part (133ca) so as to be embedded in the interior of the first island part (112).

[0143] Here, each of the first contact portion (133ad) of the first portion (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second portion (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third portion (133c) may be a portion that forms a contact point with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200).

[0144] Accordingly, the RF contact (131) can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded by the first part (133a), the second part (133b), and the third part (133c), and can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded by three contact points formed by the shield contact (133) and the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200).

[0145] In addition, since the contact point formed by the shield contact (133) and the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) is formed to be located close to the RF contact (131), the shield contact (133) can increase the shielding performance and thus increase the RF signal transmission performance.

[0146] The shielding performance through the shield contact (133) can be improved as the number of contact points formed by the shield contact (133) and the shield contact (233) of the opposing connector (200) increases, and the number of directions in which the contact points are formed with respect to the RF contact (131) increases. This is because it is important to directly transmit noise from the contact point to the ground. In particular, ultra-high frequency signals with short signal wavelengths and high signal attenuation, such as RF signals for 5G, can be greatly interfered with by adjacent general signals. Therefore, the shielding between the RF contact and the contact for general signals determines the overall connector signal transmission performance.

[0147] A connector according to one embodiment of the present invention may be an ultra-small connector having a width of 1 cm or less and a height of 1 cm or less used in a mobile phone, and even in this case, the connector according to one embodiment of the present invention can minimize signal interference and signal attenuation by optimizing the number and position of contact points formed by the shield contact (133) and the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) as described above.

[0148] As a specific example, as shown in FIGS. 6, 7, 9, and 10, the first shield contact (133-1) may include a first part (133a) covering the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113), a second part (133b) covering the upper surface, front surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114), and a third part (133c) covering the front surface of the first island portion (112), and the third part (133c) may be formed integrally with the second part (133b).

[0149] That is, the first part (133a) may include an upper part (133aa) that covers the upper surface of the second island part (113), a first extension part (133ab) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the outer surface of the second island part (113), a second extension part (133ac) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the front surface of the second island part (113), a first contact part (133ad) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to form a contact point with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) while covering the inner surface of the second island part (113), and a mounting part (133ae) that extends from the end of the first extension part (133ab) so as to be exposed to the lower surface of the bottom part (111).

[0150] In addition, the second part (133b) may include an upper part (133ba) that covers the upper surface of the third island part (114), a third extension part (133bb) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the outer surface of the third island part (114), a fourth extension part (133bc) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the front surface of the third island part (114), a second contact part (133bd) that extends from the upper part (133ba) so as to form a contact point with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) while covering the inner surface of the third island part (114), and a mounting part (133be) that extends from the end of the third extension part (133bb) so as to be exposed to the lower surface of the bottom part (111).

[0151] In addition, the third part (133c) may include a third contact part (133ca) extending from the second part (133b) along the height direction of the first island part (112) so as to cover the front surface of the first island part (112), and a fixed part (133cb) bent from the end of the third contact part (133ca) so as to be embedded in the interior of the first island part (112).

[0152] In this case, the first contact portion (133ad) may be formed to be positioned closer to the first island portion (112) than the first RF contact (131-1) arranged in the arrangement space, the second contact portion (133bd) may be formed to be positioned closer to the first island portion (112) than the first RF contact (131-1) arranged in the arrangement space, and the third portion (133c) may be formed to be integrally extended from the second contact portion (133bd) of the second portion (133b) along the height direction of the first island portion (112).

[0153] Accordingly, the second part (133b) and the third part (133c) of the first shield contact (133-1) can be formed integrally, and the first contact part (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact part (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact part (133ca) of the third part (133c) can be arranged to surround the rear and both side surfaces of the first RF contact (131-1) arranged in the arrangement space.

[0154] Through this, the first RF contact (131-1) can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded in three directions by the first contact portion (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third part (133c).

[0155] Accordingly, when the first contact portion (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third part (133c) of the first shield contact (133-1) form contact points with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200), respectively, the first shield contact (133-1) can be in contact with the shield connector (233) of the counterpart connector (200) at three locations.

[0156] Accordingly, the first RF contact (131-1) can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded by contact points corresponding to three locations, namely, the first contact portion (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third part (133c), so that the shielding performance by the first shield contact (133-1) can be improved, thereby increasing RF transmission performance.

[0157] In addition, since the first RF contact (131-1) can be formed so that the contact point formed by the first shield contact (133) and the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) is positioned close to the first RF contact (131-1), the first shield contact (133) can increase the shielding performance and thus increase the RF transmission performance of the first RF contact (131-1).

[0158] Similarly, the second shield contact (133-2) may include a first part (133a) covering the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the third island portion (114), a second part (133b) covering the upper surface, rear surface, and side surface of the second island portion (113), and a third part (133c) covering the rear surface of the first island portion (112), and the third part (133c) may be formed integrally with the second part (133b).

[0159] That is, the first part (133a) may include an upper part (133aa) that covers the upper surface of the third island part (114), a first extension part (133ab) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the outer surface of the third island part (114), a second extension part (133ac) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to cover the rear surface of the third island part (114), a first contact part (133ad) that extends from the upper part (133aa) so as to form a contact point with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) while covering the inner surface of the third island part (114), and a mounting part (133ae) that extends from the end of the first extension part (133ab) so as to be exposed to the lower surface of the bottom part (111).

[0160] In addition, the second part (133b) may include an upper part (133ba) covering the upper surface of the second island part (113), a third extension part (133bb) extending from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the outer surface of the second island part (113), a fourth extension part (133bc) extending from the upper part (133ba) so as to cover the rear surface of the second island part (113), a second contact part (133bd) extending from the upper part (133ba) so as to form a contact point with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) while covering the inner surface of the second island part (113), and a mounting part (133be) extending from the end of the third extension part (133bb) so as to be exposed to the lower surface of the bottom part (111).

[0161] In addition, the third part (133c) may include a third contact part (133ca) extending from the second part (133b) along the height direction of the first island part (112) so as to cover the rear surface of the first island part (112), and a fixed part (133cb) bent from an end of the third contact part (133ca) so as to be embedded in the interior of the first island part (112).

[0162] In this case, the first contact portion (133ad) may be formed to be positioned closer to the first island portion (112) than the second RF contact (131-2) arranged in the arrangement space, the second contact portion (133bd) may be formed to be positioned closer to the first island portion (112) than the second RF contact (131-2) arranged in the arrangement space, and the third portion (133c) may be formed to be integrally extended from the second contact portion (133bd) of the second portion (133b) along the height direction of the first island portion (112).

[0163] Accordingly, the second part (133b) and the third part (133c) of the second shield contact (133-2) can be formed integrally, and the first contact part (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact part (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact part (133ca) of the third part (133c) can be arranged to surround the rear and both side surfaces of the second RF contact (131-2) arranged in the arrangement space.

[0164] Through this, the second RF contact (131-2) can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded in three directions by the first contact portion (133ad) of the first portion (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second portion (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third portion (133c).

[0165] Accordingly, when the first contact portion (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third part (133c) of the second shield contact (133-2) form contact points with the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200), respectively, the second shield contact (133-2) can be in contact with the shield connector (233) of the counterpart connector (200) at three locations.

[0166] Accordingly, the second RF contact (131-2) can be arranged in the arrangement space so as to be surrounded by contact points corresponding to three locations, namely, the first contact portion (133ad) of the first part (133a), the second contact portion (133bd) of the second part (133b), and the third contact portion (133ca) of the third part (133c), so that the shielding performance by the second shield contact (133-2) can be improved, thereby increasing the RF transmission performance.

[0167] In addition, since the second RF contact (131-2) can be formed so that the contact point formed by the second shield contact (133-2) and the shield contact (233) of the counterpart connector (200) is positioned close to the second RF contact (131-2), the second shield contact (133-2) can increase the shielding performance and thus increase the RF transmission performance of the second RF contact (131-2).

[0168] In this way, since the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be arranged so that the shield contact (133) made of a metal material surrounds the surfaces of both ends of the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114), the strength of the end portions of each of the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114) can be reinforced through the shield contact (133).

[0169] Accordingly, the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can smoothly implement multiple contact points of the contact portion (130) while reinforcing the strength of the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114), thereby further reducing the possibility of damage to the first island portion (112), the second island portion (113), and the third island portion (114) due to misalignment.

[0170] In addition, since the connector (100) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be arranged in the insulating body (110) so that the RF contact (131) is surrounded by three contact points formed between the shield contact (133) and the shield contact (230) of the counterpart connector (200), the shielding performance of the RF contact (131) is improved by the shield contact (133), thereby further increasing the RF transmission performance.

[0171] Although the drawing illustrates that the third portion (133c) is formed integrally with the second portion (133b), the present invention is not limited thereto, and the third portion (133c) may also be formed integrally with the first portion (133b). In this case, the third contact portion (133ca) of the third portion (133c) may extend integrally from the first contact portion (133ad) of the first portion (133a) along the height direction of the first island portion (112).

[0172]

[0173] Meanwhile, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be configured so that, when physically coupled with the aforementioned connector (100), corresponding contacts can form multiple contact points.

[0174] That is, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can secure contact stability through a multi-contact structure of contacts corresponding to each other while reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact when coupled with the connector (100).

[0175] In addition, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can improve RF signal transmission performance by improving the contact positions of the shield contacts (233) corresponding to the shield contacts (133) of the connector (100).

[0176] To this end, a corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include an insulating body (210), a shield member (220), and a contact portion (230) as illustrated in FIGS. 15 to 19.

[0177] The above insulating body (210) may be made of an electrically insulating material and may define the overall external shape of the corresponding connector (200). For example, the above insulating body (210) may have an approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape as illustrated in FIG. 17.

[0178] Such an insulating body (210) may be provided to have a shape corresponding to the connector (100) so that the corresponding connector (200) can be physically coupled with the connector (100).

[0179] In addition, the insulating body (210) can be configured so that corresponding contacts can form multiple contact points while reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact when coupled with the connector (100) as described above.

[0180] That is, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be arranged so that the contact positions of the shield contacts (133, 233) corresponding to each other when combined with the connector (100) surround the RF contact (231), and the RF contact (231) can be arranged so as to be surrounded by the contact points of three shield contacts formed so as not to be positioned in a straight line.

[0181] To this end, the insulating body (210) may include a receiving groove (214) and a settling groove (215) formed so that the three islands (112, 113, 114) can be individually inserted.

[0182] In this case, the insulating body (210) may include a plate-shaped bottom portion (211) having a predetermined area, and a ring-shaped ring-shaped island portion (212) that protrudes from the bottom portion (211) to a predetermined height so as to form the receiving groove (214) and the seating groove (215).

[0183] That is, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can be formed to protrude from the bottom portion (211) to a certain height so as to form a receiving groove (214) for receiving the first island portion (112) and a settling groove (215) for receiving the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114).

[0184] Here, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can be inserted into the first receiving space (S1) and the second receiving space (S2) of the connector (100) when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are coupled, and the contact portion (230) can form multiple contact points with the contact portion (130) of the connector (100) when the ring-shaped island portion (212) is inserted into the first receiving space (S1) and the second receiving space (S2).

[0185] In addition, the receiving groove (214) may be formed to be located on the inner side of the ring-shaped island portion (212), and the settling groove (215) may be formed to surround the ring-shaped island portion (212) on the outer side of the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0186] Accordingly, when the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention is coupled with the connector (100), the first island portion (112) can be inserted into the receiving groove (214), and the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (113), which are respectively arranged on both sides of the first island portion (112), can be inserted into the mounting groove (215), respectively.

[0187] At this time, the ring-shaped island portion (212) may be provided in a closed loop shape so as to have improved strength regardless of direction.

[0188] In addition, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention may further include a connecting island (213) to further reinforce the strength of the ring-shaped island (212).

[0189] That is, the insulating body (210) may include a border portion (217) extending upward along the border of the bottom portion (211) to a certain height, and a connecting portion (213) extending along the first axis direction, which is the longitudinal direction, from the ring-shaped portion (212) to a certain length.

[0190] In this case, the connecting island portion (213) can be formed to protrude from the bottom portion (211) by a certain height to connect the frame portion (217) and the ring-shaped island portion (212) to each other.

[0191] As a specific example, as shown in FIG. 15, FIG. 17 and FIG. 19, the ring-shaped island section (212) may be in a form in which a first island section (212-1), a second island section (212-2), a third island section (212-3) and a fourth island section (212-4) having a predetermined length are connected to each other to form a closed loop shape.

[0192] In addition, the connecting island portion (213) may include a first connecting island portion (213-1) connecting the third island section portion (212-3) and the border portion (217), and a second connecting island portion (213-2) connecting the fourth island section portion (212-4) and the border portion (217).

[0193] In this case, the first island section (212-1) and the second island section (212-2) may be formed to have a predetermined length along the first axis direction while being spaced apart from each other along the second axis direction, which is the width direction, and the third island section (212-3) and the fourth island section (212-4) may be formed to have a predetermined length along the second axis direction while being spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction, which is the length direction.

[0194] In addition, the third island section (212-3) can connect one end of the first island section (212-1) and one end of the second island section (212-2), and the fourth island section (212-4) can connect the other end of the first island section (212-1) and the other end of the second island section (212-2).

[0195] In addition, the first connecting island portion (213-1) is formed to have a constant length along the first axis direction so as to be able to connect the third island section portion (212-3) and the border portion (217) that face each other, and the second connecting island portion (213-2) is formed to have a constant length along the first axis direction so as to be able to connect the fourth island section portion (212-4) and the border portion (217) that face each other.

[0196] Accordingly, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can be formed to have a closed loop shape through the first island section portion (212-1), the third island section portion (212-3), the second island section portion (212-2), and the fourth island section portion (212-4) that are sequentially connected in one direction, and to be connected to the edge portion (217) through the first connecting island portion (213-1) and the second connecting island portion (213-2).

[0197] Through this, even if a load is applied to the first island section (212-1) or the second island section (212-2) through physical contact when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled, the first island section (212-1) or the second island section (212-2) can withstand the load through the third island section (212-3) and the fourth island section (212-4) which are arranged in a direction approximately parallel to the direction of the load applied to the first island section (212-1) or the second island section (212-2) while connecting the first island section (212-1) and the second island section (212-2) to each other.

[0198] Likewise, even if a load is applied to the third island section (212-3) or the fourth island section (212-4) through physical contact when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled, the third island section (212-3) or the fourth island section (212-4) can withstand the load through the first connecting island section (213-1) or the second connecting island section (213-2) that interconnects the ring-shaped island section (212) and the frame section (217).

[0199] Due to this, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can have improved strength regardless of the direction of the applied load, thereby reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact when the corresponding connector (200) and connector (100) are coupled.

[0200] In particular, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can more effectively withstand a load applied along the first axis direction because the ring-shaped island portion (212) is connected to the edge portion (217) through the first connecting island portion (213-1) and the second connecting island portion (213-2).

[0201] In addition, the contact portion (230) may be made of a metal material, and the contact portion (230) made of a metal material may be fixed to the insulating body (210) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the connecting island portion (213) that protrude from the bottom portion (211) by a certain height.

[0202] Accordingly, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can have its surface protected by the contact portion (230) having a relatively higher strength than the insulating body (210), thereby reinforcing its own strength, thereby further reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact when the corresponding connector (200) and connector (100) are coupled.

[0203] Through this, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can secure contact stability through a multi-contact structure of contacts corresponding to each other, while reducing the possibility of damage due to physical contact even if misalignment occurs when combined with the connector (100).

[0204] In this case, the fixing groove (215) formed to surround the ring-shaped island portion (212) on the outside of the ring-shaped island portion (212) can be divided into two parts through the first connecting island portion (213-1) and the second connecting island portion (213-2).

[0205] That is, the above-mentioned settling groove (215) may include a first settling groove (215-1) defined by the first island section (212-1), the border section (217), the second connecting island section (213-2), and the second connecting island section (213-2), and a second settling groove (215-2) defined by the second island section (212-2), the border section (217), the second connecting island section (213-2), and the second connecting island section (213-2).

[0206] Accordingly, when the corresponding connector (200) and connector (100) are coupled to each other, the second island portion (113) of the connector (100) can be inserted into the first mounting groove (215-1), and the third island portion (114) of the connector (100) can be inserted into the second mounting groove (215-2).

[0207] The above shield member (220) can prevent damage to the insulating body (210) due to excessive pressure when combined with the connector (100) while also shielding electromagnetic waves coming in from the outside.

[0208] In addition, the shield member (220) can shield electromagnetic waves generated from the contact portion (230) coupled to the insulating body (210).

[0209] For this purpose, the shield member (220) may be made of a metal material, but is not limited thereto, and any of various known materials may be applied as long as they have a certain strength and conductivity.

[0210] A shield member (220) like this can be combined with the insulating body (210) so as to surround the entire perimeter of the insulating body (210) as shown in FIGS. 15 to 19.

[0211] To this end, the insulating body (210) may include a border portion (217) extending from the bottom portion (211) to a certain height, and the border portion (217) may be formed to extend from the border of the bottom portion (211) to a certain height so as to be spaced apart from the ring-shaped island portion (212) by a certain distance.

[0212] Accordingly, when the shield member (220) is coupled to the frame portion (217), the shield member (220) can be arranged to surround the frame of the insulating body (210).

[0213] Through this, when the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention is combined with the connector (100), the shield member (220) can come into contact with the shield member (120) of the connector (200) and be energized, thereby forming a ground together with the shield contact (233) described later.

[0214] The above contact portion (230) can be coupled to the insulating body (210) and can be electrically connected to the outside.

[0215] To this end, the contact portion (230) may be made of a conductive material such as a metal material, and may be coupled to the insulating body (210) so that at least a portion thereof is exposed to the outside.

[0216] Such a contact portion (230) may include a plurality of contacts for a predetermined function, and the plurality of contacts may be coupled to the insulating body (210) so as to be in contact with the contact or substrate of the connector (100).

[0217] In addition, the contact portion (230) may be positioned so as to correspond to the contact portion (130) of the connector (100) described above.

[0218] That is, the contact portion (230) can be coupled to the insulating body (210) so that it can come into contact with the contacts of the corresponding connector (100) when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled.

[0219] Here, the contact portion (230) may be detachably coupled to the insulating body (210), and may be formed integrally with the insulating body (210) through insert molding.

[0220] Through this, the contact portion (230) can form an electrical contact with the contact portion (130) of the connector (100) when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled, and can form an electrical contact with the contact portion (130) of the connector (100).

[0221] At this time, the contact portion (230) may be configured to transmit RF (Radio Frequency) signals and general signals simultaneously, similar to the contact portion (130) described above, and the contact portion (230) may be provided in the insulating body (210) so as to form multiple contact points with the contact portion (130) of the connector (100).

[0222] Additionally, among the contact portions (230), the RF contact (231) may be arranged to be surrounded by the contact points of shield contacts that are formed so as not to be positioned in a straight line.

[0223] That is, the RF contact (231) may be placed on the insulating body (210) so as to be surrounded by shield contacts that form contact with each other on both sides along with the front or rear of the RF contact (231) without being positioned in a straight line.

[0224] In addition, the contact portion (230) can be fixed to the insulating body (210) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the surface of the connecting island portion (213) that protrude from the bottom portion (211) by a certain height.

[0225] Accordingly, since the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the connecting island portion (213) are fixed to the insulating body (210) so that the contact portion (230) made of a metal material surrounds the surface, the strength of the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the connecting island portion (213) can be reinforced through the contact portion (230) that surrounds the surface.

[0226] For example, the contact portion (230) may include an RF contact (231) for transmitting an RF signal, a signal contact (232) for transmitting a general signal, and a shield contact (233) for electrical shielding, and each of the RF contact (231), the signal contact (232), and the shield contact (233) may be provided in the insulating body (210) so as to form multiple contacts with the contact portion (130) of the connector (100).

[0227] In addition, each of the RF contact (231), signal contact (232) and shield contact (233) may be provided in a plurality of pieces spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction, and the signal contact (232) may be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) so as to surround the surface of the ring-shaped island portion (212), and the RF contact (231) may be fixed to the connection island portion (213) so as to surround the surface of the connection island portion (213).

[0228] As a specific example, the plug RF contact (231) may include a first RF contact (231-1) and a second RF contact (231-2) spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction as illustrated in FIGS. 17 to 20.

[0229] In this case, the RF contact (231) may be provided in the insulating body (210) so that it can be in contact with the RF contact (131) provided in the arrangement space at two locations, as shown in FIG. 26, when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled, and may be provided in the insulating body (210) so as to reinforce the strength of the connecting part (213).

[0230] Here, the first RF contact (231-1) can be fixed to the first connecting island (213-1) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the first connecting island (213-1), and the second RF contact (231-2) can be fixed to the second connecting island (213-2) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the second connecting island (213-2).

[0231] To this end, the first RF contact (231-1) may include an exposed portion (231a) fixed to the first connecting portion (213-1) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the first connecting portion (213-1), as shown in FIGS. 20, 22, and 26, and an embedded portion (231b) extended from the exposed portion (231a) and embedded in the bottom portion (211).

[0232] Here, the above-mentioned embedded portion (231b) can be embedded in the bottom portion (211) and exposed to the outside through the lower surface of the insulating body (210).

[0233] Accordingly, the first RF contact (231-1) can smoothly form a double contact with the first RF contact (131-1) of the connector (100) through the exposed portion (231a), and can be electrically connected to another component such as a circuit board through the embedded portion (231b).

[0234] Likewise, the second RF contact (231-2) may include an exposed portion (231a) fixed to the second connecting portion (213-2) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the second connecting portion (213-2), and an embedded portion (231b) extending from the exposed portion (231a) and embedded in the bottom portion (211).

[0235] Here, the above-mentioned embedded portion (231b) can be embedded in the bottom portion (211) and exposed to the outside through the lower surface of the insulating body (210).

[0236] Accordingly, the second RF contact (231-1) can smoothly form a double contact with the second RF contact (131-1) of the connector (100) through the exposed portion (231a), and can be electrically connected to another component such as a circuit board through the embedded portion (231b).

[0237] Again, referring to FIGS. 17 to 20, the signal contact (232) may include a first signal contact (232-1) and a second RF contact (231-2) spaced apart from each other along the second axis direction.

[0238] In this case, each of the first signal contact (232-1) and the second signal contact (232-2) may be positioned between the first RF contact (231-1) and the second RF contact (231-2) along the first axis direction.

[0239] At this time, the first signal contact (232-1) may be fixed to the first island section (212-1) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the first island section (212-1), and the second signal contact (232-2) may be fixed to the second island section (212-2) so as to be exposed to the outside while wrapping around the surface of the second island section (212-2).

[0240] Additionally, the signal contact (232) may be provided in the insulating body (210) to form a double contact with the signal contact (132) of the connector (100).

[0241] That is, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are combined, the signal contact (232) can come into contact with the signal contact (132) of the connector (100) at two locations, as shown in FIG. 27.

[0242] To this end, the first signal contact (232-1) may include a fixed portion (232a) fixed to the first island section (212-1) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the first island section (212-1) protruding from the bottom section (211) by a certain height as shown in FIG. 20 and FIG. 23, and a bottom portion (232b) extending from the fixed portion (232a) to the bottom section (211).

[0243] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are combined, as illustrated in FIG. 27, the first signal contact (232-1) can form a double contact with the first signal contact (132-1) of the connector (100) through the protruding portion (132d) and the movable portion (132c) of the first signal contact (132-1) described above.

[0244] Similarly, the second signal contact (232-2) may include a fixed portion (232a) fixed to the second island section (212-2) so as to be exposed to the outside while surrounding the surface of the second island section (212-2) that protrudes from the bottom section (211) by a certain height as shown in FIG. 20, and a bottom portion (232b) that extends from the fixed portion (232a) and is connected to the bottom section (211).

[0245] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are combined, the second signal contact (232-2) can form a double contact with the second signal contact (132-2) of the connector (100) through the protruding portion (132d) and the movable portion (132c) of the second signal contact (132-2) described above.

[0246] In this way, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can form a dual contact point with the signal contact (232) and the RF contact (231) of the connector (100), respectively.

[0247] Accordingly, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can transmit both RF signals and general signals, while ensuring the stability of transmission of both RF signals and general signals through a dual contact method.

[0248] In addition, since the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention is fixed to the first island section (212-1) or the second island section (212-2) so that the first signal contact (232-1) and the second signal contact (232-2) made of a metal material surround the surface of the first island section (212-1) or the second island section (212-2) through the fixing portion (232a), the strength of the ring-shaped island section (212) can be reinforced through the fixing portion (232a).

[0249] Similarly, in the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the RF contact (231) made of a metal material is fixed to the connecting island (213) so as to surround the surface of the connecting island (213) through the exposed portion (231a) for forming a double contact with the RF contact (131) of the connector (100), so that the strength of the connecting island (213) can be reinforced through the exposed portion (231a).

[0250] Accordingly, the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can secure current stability while reducing the possibility of damage to the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the connecting island portion (213) due to external force when coupled with the connector (100).

[0251] Here, each of the first signal contact (232-1) and the second signal contact (232-2) may be provided in multiple numbers and may be spaced apart from each other along the first axis direction.

[0252] That is, the plurality of first signal contacts (232-1) can be arranged to be spaced apart from each other while the fixed portion (232a) is fixed to the first island section (212-1) along the first axis direction, and the plurality of second signal contacts (232-2) can be arranged to be spaced apart from each other while the fixed portion (232a) is fixed to the second island section (212-2) along the first axis direction.

[0253] Again, referring to FIGS. 17 to 20, the shield contact (233) may be positioned along the second axis direction in the width direction so as to electrically shield the RF contact (231) and signal contact (232) from each other, and may be positioned between the adjacent RF contact (231) and signal contact (232).

[0254] For example, the shield contact (233) may include a first shield contact (233-1) and a second shield contact (233-2), and the first shield contact (233-1) may be arranged along the second axis direction to be positioned between the first RF contact (231-1) and the signal contact (232), and the second shield contact (233-2) may be arranged along the second axis direction to be positioned between the second RF contact (231-2) and the signal contact (232).

[0255] Accordingly, the first shield contact (233-1) can electrically shield the first RF contact (231-1) and the signal contact (232), and the second shield contact (233-2) can electrically shield the second RF contact (231-2) and the signal contact (232).

[0256] At this time, the shield contact (233) may be configured so that it can come into contact with the shield contact (133) of the connector (100) in the first axial direction and the second axial direction when coupled with the connector (100).

[0257] That is, the shield contact (233) may be formed so that, when coupled with the connector (100), the contact point between the shield contact (133) of the connector (100) and the shield contact (133) is not positioned in a straight line while surrounding the RF contact (231).

[0258] To this end, the shield contact (233) may include a body portion (233a) that is disposed along the second axis direction and embedded in the bottom portion (211), a first leg portion (233b) that extends from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the receiving groove (214), and a pair of second leg portions (233c) that extend from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the outside of the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0259] In this case, the first leg portion (233b) may be extended from the body portion (233a) so as to be positioned between the pair of second leg portions (233c) while being spaced apart from the pair of second leg portions (233c) by a certain distance.

[0260] In addition, the shield contact (233) may include a first protrusion (233d) that protrudes from the body portion (233a) along the first axial direction and a second protrusion (233e) that protrudes from the body portion (233a) along the second axial direction.

[0261] For example, the first protrusion (233d) may be formed on the first leg portion (233b) so as to protrude from the first leg portion (233b) toward the receiving groove (214) along the first axial direction, and the second protrusion (233e) may be formed on the second leg portion (233c) so as to protrude outward from the second leg portion (233c) along the second axial direction.

[0262] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are coupled as shown in FIGS. 28 and 29, the first protrusion (233d) can be brought into contact with the third contact portion (133c) of the shield contact (133) described above within the receiving groove (214), and the second protrusion (233e) can be brought into contact with the first contact portion (133ad) and the second contact portion (133bd) of the shield contact (133) described above, respectively.

[0263] Due to this, the RF contact (231) can be surrounded by three contact points formed by the first protrusion (233d) and the second protrusion (233e) and the first contact portion (133ad), the second contact portion (133bd) and the third contact portion (133c) so as not to be positioned in a straight line.

[0264] In addition, the contact formed by the shield contact (233) and the shield contact (133) of the connector (100) can be formed to be positioned close to the RF contact (231).

[0265] The shielding performance through the shield contact (233) can be improved as the number of contact points formed by the shield contact (233) and the shield contact (133) of the opposing connector (100) increases, and the number of directions in which the contact points are formed with respect to the RF contact (231) increases.

[0266] A connector according to one embodiment of the present invention may be an ultra-small connector having a width of 1 cm or less and a height of 1 cm or less used in a mobile phone, and even in this case, the connector according to one embodiment of the present invention can minimize signal interference and signal attenuation by optimizing the number and position of contact points formed by the shield contact (233) and the shield contact (133) of the counterpart connector (100) as described above.

[0267] As a specific example, as illustrated in FIGS. 20, 21, 24, and 25, the first shield contact (233-1) may include a body portion (233a) disposed along the second axis direction and embedded in the bottom portion (211), a first leg portion (233b) extending from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the receiving groove (214), and a pair of second leg portions (233c) extending from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the outside of the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0268] In this case, the first leg portion (233b) may be extended from the body portion (233a) so as to be positioned between the pair of second leg portions (233c) while being spaced apart from the pair of second leg portions (233c) by a certain distance.

[0269] In addition, the first shield contact (233-1) may include a first protrusion (233d) formed on the first leg portion (233b) so as to protrude from the body portion (233a) toward the receiving groove (214) along the first axial direction, and a second protrusion (233e) formed on the second leg portion (233c) so as to protrude outward from the second leg portion (233c) along the second axial direction.

[0270] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are coupled as shown in FIGS. 28 and 29, the first protrusion (233d) can be brought into contact with the third contact portion (133c) of the first shield contact (133-1) within the receiving groove (214), and the second protrusion (233e) can be brought into contact with the first contact portion (133ad) and the second contact portion (133bd) of the first shield contact (133-1), respectively.

[0271] Through this, the first shield contact (233-1) can be brought into contact with the first shield contact (133-1) of the connector (100) at three locations through the first protrusion (233d) and the second protrusion (233e).

[0272] Due to this, the first RF contact (231-1) can be surrounded on the front and both sides by two contact points formed with the first shield contact (133-1) along the first axis direction by the first protrusion (233d) and the first shield contact (133-1) along the second axis direction by the second protrusion (233e), thereby improving the shielding performance of the first shield contact (233-1) and increasing the RF transmission performance.

[0273] In addition, since the first RF contact (231-1) can be formed so that the contact point formed by the first shield contact (233-1) and the first shield contact (133-1) of the connector (100) is positioned close to the first RF contact (231-1), the first shield contact (233) can increase the shielding performance and thus increase the RF transmission performance of the first RF contact (231-1).

[0274] Similarly, the second shield contact (233-2) may include a body portion (233a) that is disposed along the second axis direction and embedded in the bottom portion (211), a first leg portion (233b) that extends from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the receiving groove (214), and a pair of second leg portions (233c) that extend from the body portion (233a) so as to be fixed to the ring-shaped island portion (212) while being exposed to the outside of the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0275] In this case, the first leg portion (233b) may be extended from the body portion (233a) so as to be positioned between the pair of second leg portions (233c) while being spaced apart from the pair of second leg portions (233c) by a certain distance.

[0276] In addition, the second shield contact (233-2) may include a first protrusion (233d) formed on the first leg portion (233b) so as to protrude from the body portion (233a) toward the receiving groove (214) along the first axial direction, and a second protrusion (233e) formed on the second leg portion (233c) so as to protrude outward from the second leg portion (233c) along the second axial direction.

[0277] Accordingly, when the connector (100) and the corresponding connector (200) are coupled as shown in FIGS. 28 and 29, the first protrusion (233d) can come into contact with the third contact portion (133c) of the second shield contact (133-2) within the receiving groove (214), and the second protrusion (233e) can come into contact with the first contact portion (133ad) and the second contact portion (133bd) of the second shield contact (133-2), respectively.

[0278] Through this, the second shield contact (233-2) can be brought into contact with the second shield contact (133-2) of the connector (100) at three locations through the first protrusion (233d) and the second protrusion (233e).

[0279] Due to this, the second RF contact (231-2) can be surrounded on the front and both sides by two contact points formed with the second shield contact (133-2) along the first axis direction by the first protrusion (233d) and the second shield contact (133-2) along the second axis direction by the second protrusion (233e), thereby improving the shielding performance of the second shield contact (233-2) and increasing the RF transmission performance.

[0280] In addition, since the second RF contact (231-2) can be formed so that the contact point formed by the second shield contact (233-2) and the second shield contact (133-2) of the connector (100) is positioned close to the second RF contact (231-2), the second shield contact (233) can increase the shielding performance and thus increase the RF transmission performance of the second RF contact (231-2).

[0281] In this way, since the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be arranged in the insulating body (210) so that the RF contact (231) is surrounded by three contact points formed between the shield contact (233) and the shield contact (130) of the connector (100), the shielding performance of the RF contact (231) by the shield contact (233) is improved, thereby further increasing the RF transmission performance.

[0282] Meanwhile, in the corresponding connector (200) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the connecting island portion (213) may be formed to protrude from the bottom portion (211) by a certain height so as to have a lower height than the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0283] That is, the first connecting island (213-1) and the second connecting island (213-2) that interconnect the ring-shaped island (212) and the border (217) may be provided to have a lower height than the ring-shaped island (212) based on the third direction.

[0284] Through this, when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled to each other, the end sides of the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114) are less likely to first come into contact with the ring-shaped island portion (212).

[0285] Due to this, the ring-shaped island portion (212) can be less likely to come into physical contact with the shield contact (133) made of a metal material while wrapping around the end sides of the second island portion (113) and the third island portion (114), and the possibility of being damaged by physical contact can be reduced.

[0286] In this case, since the signal contact (232) is provided in the ring-shaped island portion (212) and the RF contact (231) is provided in the connecting island portion (213), when the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled, the corresponding signal contacts (132-1, 132-2) (232-1, 232-2) can come into contact first, and then the corresponding RF contacts (131-1, 131-2) (231-1, 231-2) can come into contact later.

[0287] Accordingly, even if the corresponding connector (200) and the connector (100) are coupled in a misaligned state, the RF contacts (131-1, 131-2) (231-1, 231-2) can be further reduced from being damaged due to misalignment.

[0288] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, the spirit of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments presented in this specification, and those skilled in the art who understand the spirit of the present invention will be able to easily propose other embodiments by adding, changing, deleting, or adding components within the scope of the same spirit, but this will also be considered to fall within the spirit of the present invention.
