Abstract
Description
INDUSTRIAL CONTROLLER AND INDUSTRIAL COMPUTERTECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of computers, and particularly relates to an industrial controller and an industrial computer.BACKGROUND
[0002] A computer controller is generally provided with a processing module and a power module. The processing module and the power module will generate heat during operation, which will cause a temperature inside an industrial controller to rise. High temperature is detrimental to the processing module and the power module to maintain good operating performance. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an air inlet, an air outlet, and a fan on the industrial controller. Under the action of the fan, external cool air quickly enters internal space of the industrial controller from the air inlet, and is discharged from the air outlet after carrying heat.
[0003] On the prerequisite that positions of the processing module, the power module, and the fan inside the industrial controller are determined, an air flow path in the industrial controller will depend on the position and a revolving speed of the fan, and will affect heat dissipation of the processing module and the power module. In some cases, air will flow to the power module after flowing through the processing module. In this case, air flowing to the power module has carried hot air generated by the processing module, and it is difficult to provide good cooling to the power module.
[0004] Therefore, in order to achieve a good flow path for air flow in the industrial controller, and enable cool air to flow to both the processing module and the power module, a lot of tests are generally done to determine the position and the revolving speed of the fan when different models of industrial controllers are designed and produced, thereby inevitably slowing down research and development speed of the industrial controllers, and increasing research and development costs of the industrial controllers.SUMMARY

[0031] In order to make the objectives, technical solutions, and advantages of the present disclosure clearer, embodiments of the present disclosure will be further described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0032] In the description of the present disclosure, it should be understood that the directions or position relationships indicated by the terms, such as "center, " "above, " "below, " "in front of, " "behind, " "left, " "right, " "vertical, " "horizontal, " "top, " "bottom, " "inner, " and "outer, " are based on the directions or position relationships shown in the drawings, are only provided to facilitate describing the present disclosure and simplifying the description, rather than indicating or implying that the apparatus or element referred to must have a specific direction, or be constructed and operated in a specific direction, and therefore cannot be understood as limitations of the present disclosure.
[0033] In the first aspect, referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the present disclosure provides an industrial controller, including an accommodating cavity, a case, a processing module 41, a power module 42, and a separator 50. The case includes a first side plate 31 and a second side plate 32 distributed at intervals along a longitudinal direction. The accommodating cavity is enclosed by the case and is located between the first side plate 31 and the second side plate 32. The first side plate 31 is provided with a first air inlet 101 and a second air inlet 102, and the second side plate 32 is provided with a first air outlet 201 and a second air outlet 202;
[0034] Two opposite ends of the separator 50 are connected to the first side plate 31 and the second side plate 32 respectively to divide the accommodating cavity into a first subspace 111 and a second subspace 112. The first subspace 111 is communicated between the first air inlet 101 and the first air outlet 201, and the second subspace 112 is communicated between the second air inlet 102 and the second air outlet 202.
[0035] The processing module 41 is located in the first subspace 111, and the power module 42 is located in the second subspace 112.
[0036] Based on the above technical solutions, the first subspace 111 and the second subspace 112 are physically separated by the separator 50, and are not communicated with each other, so that external cool air enters the first subspace 111 from the first air inlet 101, and is then heated to hot air when flowing through the processing module 41, and the hot air can only be discharged from the first air outlet 201, and cannot enter the second subspace 112. Similarly, external cool air enters the second subspace 112 from the second air inlet 102, and is then heated to hot air when flowing through the power module 42, and the hot air can only be discharged from the second air outlet 202, and cannot enter the first subspace 111, thereby avoiding a situation that the air heated when flowing through the power module 42 continues flowing to the processing module 41, which can cause the processing module 41 not to be well cooled, and, avoiding a situation that the air heated when flowing through the processing module 41 continues flowing to the power module 42, which can cause he power module 42 not to be well cooled.
[0037] In a possible embodiment, the controller provided in the present disclosure includes a first fan 91, where the first fan 91 is located in the first subspace 111, and under the action of the first fan 91, air flow speed in the first subspace 111 can be accelerated.
[0038] In a possible embodiment, the controller provided in the present disclosure may further include a second fan 92, where the second fan 92 is located in the second subspace 112, and under the action of the second fan 92, air flow speed in the second subspace 112 can be accelerated.
[0039] Because the first subspace 111 and the second subspace 112 are physically separated by the separator 50, revolving speed of the first fan 91 will only affect flow speed and path of air in the first subspace 111, and will not cause a situation that the hot air in the first subspace 111 enters the second subspace 112. Similarly, revolving speed of the second fan 92 will only affect flow speed and path of air in the second subspace 112, and will not cause a situation that the hot air in the second subspace 112 enters the first subspace 111.
[0040] In a possible embodiment, the separator 50 includes a duct, and an inner hole of the duct serves as the second subspace 112. In other words, two ends of the duct are connected to the first side plate 31 and the second side plate 32 respectively, and the inner hole of the duct is communicated between the second air inlet 102 and the second air outlet 202. In this way, the probability or flow rate of cross flow of air between the first subspace 111 and the second subspace 112 can be reduced, and the first subspace 111 and the second subspace 112 can be better separated. Moreover, even if the case is defective, the integrity of the second subspace 112 can still be guaranteed.
[0041] In an example, referring to Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the duct includes a duct body 51 and a closure member 52, two opposite ends of the duct body 51 are connected to the first side plate 31 and the second side plate 32 respectively; the duct body 51 includes a first segment and a second segment, the power module 42 is located at the second segment, the first segment is provided with an opening; the closure member 52 is detachably connected to the duct body 51 and is configured to cover the opening; and the first segment or the closure member 52 is further provided with a first avoidance hole 521. In this way, when the industrial controller is assembled, one end of wire can easily enter the second subspace 112 through the opening due to avoidance effects of the opening, such that the wire can be connected to the power module 42; then the other end of the wire can pass through the first avoidance hole 521, and then extend into the first subspace 111 for connection to the processing module 41, so as to supply power to the processing module 41; and then the closure member 52 covers the opening, and a complete second subspace 112 can be formed. Specifically, the first segment may be close to the first side plate 31, and the second segment may be close to the second side plate 32.
[0042] In an example, referring to Fig. 3, a protruding plug connector 43 may be provided in the inner hole of the second subspace 112, the plug connector is close to the opening, the power module 42 is located between the second air outlet 202 and the plug connector 43, and the power module 42 is connected to the plug connector 43. In this way, during assembly, the power module 42 can be pushed into the second subspace 112 from the second air outlet 202, until the power module 42 and the plug connector 43 are adaptively plugged together, which means that the power module 42 has been pushed in place and does not need to be pushed any more. The plug connector 43 may be an electrical connector, that is, a conductor is provided in the plug connector 43, one side of the plug connector is plug connected to the power module 42, and the other side of the plug connector is connected to the wire, so that the power module 42 can be electrically connected to the processing module 41 through the wire and the plug connector 43.
[0043] In an example, size of the second subspace 112 may be only slightly larger than size of the power module 42, and fasteners such as screws or bolts pass through the separator 50, and are then connected to the power module 42. In this way, the power module can be fixed in the second subspace 112.
[0044] In a possible embodiment, referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the second fan 92 is fixedly connected to the power module 42, and is configured to face or be close to the second air outlet 202. In this way, during assembly, the second fan 92 can be fixed on the power module 42, then both of the second fan 92 and the power module 42 can be pushed into the second subspace 112 through the second air outlet 202, and then the second fan 92 can be fixed only by fixing the power module 42 in the second subspace 112. Further, the second fan 92 can guide cool air entering the second subspace 112 to pass through the inside of the power module 42, so that the cool air can carry away heat inside the power module 42.
[0045] In a possible implementation, referring to Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the separator 50 further includes a stopping member 60, and two opposite ends of the stopping member 60 are connected to the first side plate 31 and the second side plate 32 respectively to divide the first subspace 111 into a first region and a second region; the processing module 41 includes a graphics card 401 and a hard disk 402, where the graphics card 401 is located in the first region, and a first gap 71 is formed between the graphics card and the first side plate 31, the hard disk 402 is located in the second region, and a second gap 72 is formed between the hard disk and the first side plate 31; and the stopping member 60 includes an air vent 61, where the air vent 61 is communicated between the first gap 71 and the second gap 72.
[0046] It should be clear that the air in the accommodating cavity can only flow between the first region and the second region through the air vent 61. For ease of understanding, flow of air from the first air inlet 101 to the first air outlet 201 can be defined as flow from the upstream to the downstream. Then, the above technical solutions may be understood as that: the graphics card 401 is located downstream of the first gap 71, the hard disk 402 is located downstream of the second gap 72, and both the graphics card 401 and the hard disk 402 are located downstream of the air vent 61.When external cool air enters the first subspace 111 from the first air inlet 101, the cool air will be divided into two portions, one portion of the cool air remains in the first region, the other portion of the cool air enters the second region through the air vent 61, or otherwise, one portion of the cool air remains in the second region, and the other portion of the cool air enters the first region through the air vent 61. In this way, the graphics card 401 is separated from the hard disk 402 by the stopping member 60, thereby preventing the air heated when flowing through the graphics card 401 from continuing flowing to the hard disk 402, and preventing the air heated when flowing through the hard disk 402 from continuing flowing to the graphics card 401, such that both the graphics card 401 and the hard disk 402 are well cooled by cool air.
[0047] In a possible embodiment, the duct and the stopping member 60 may be integrated, thereby simplifying assembly of the industrial controller. For example, the stopping member 60 may be integrated with the duct body 51 of the separator 50.
[0048] In an example, the separator 50 may include a separation plate and a C-shaped slot, where the separation plate includes two parts, one part is used for connection to the C-shaped slot to form the duct body 51, and an opening is provided on the C-shaped slot; and the other part serves as the stopping member 60.
[0049] In a possible embodiment, referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the first air outlet 201 includes a first part 201A and a second part 201B, where the first part 201A and the first region are located on a same side of the stopping member 60, and the second part 201B and the second region are located on a same side of the stopping member 60. In this way, the hot air carrying heat of the hard disk 402 in the second region is discharged through the second part 201B, and the hot air carrying heat of the graphics card 401 in the first region is discharged through the first part 201A.
[0050] In the present disclosure, for ease of description, it is defined that the transverse direction is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, the vertical direction is perpendicular to the transverse direction, and the vertical direction is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
[0051] In an example, size of the graphics card 401 in the vertical direction is larger than size of the hard disk 402 in the vertical direction, so that the first region and the second region are distributed along the transverse direction, the second region is located above the separator 50, and the second part is located above the second air outlet 202. In this way, the separator 50 and the graphics card 401 can be arranged along the transverse direction, and the hard disk 402 is located above the separator 50, thereby saving the transverse space.
[0052] In a possible embodiment, referring to Fig. 3-Fig. 6, the industrial controller further includes a frame 80, where both the first fan 91 and the frame 80 are located in a first gap 71, the first fan 91 is located between the frame 80 and the processing module 41, the first fan 91 is installed on the frame 80; the frame 80 is fixedly connected to the first side plate 31, the frame 80 includes a second avoidance hole 81, and a third gap 73 is formed between the frame 80 and the first air inlet 101. In this way, after entering from the first air inlet 101, the external air first enters the third gap 73, and then enters the first fan 91. In this way, on the one hand, after entering the third gap 73 through the first air inlet 101, the external air can enter the first fan 91 through the second avoidance hole 81, and the air inlet of the first fan 91 is not blocked, so that sufficient air input can be obtained. On the other hand, after the air enters the third gap 73, the flow speed will be reduced and is less than the flow speed of the air at the first air inlet 101, thereby reducing the noise generated when the air enters the first fan 91.
[0053] In an example, the frame 80 includes a loop-shaped member 82 and a bottom plate 83, where the loop-shaped member 82 is configured to surround the bottom plate 83, and is connected to the bottom plate 83, the second avoidance hole 81 is located on the bottom plate 83, the loop-shaped member 82 is fixedly connected to the first side plate 31, the third gap 73 is located between the bottom plate 83 and the first side plate 31, and the third gap 73 is surrounded by the loop-shaped member 82. In this way, the third gap 73 has a large space, and after the air enters the third gap 73, its speed is reduced, and it can fully enter the first fan 91 through the second avoidance hole 81.
[0054] In an example, the first fan 91 is fixed on the bottom plate 83 by fasteners such as bolts or screws.
[0055] In an example, referring to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the number of first fans 91 and the number of second avoidance holes 81 are both two, the number of first air inlets 101 is one, the two second avoidance holes 81 are distributed along the vertical direction, and a distribution length is greater than an inner diameter of the first air inlet 101 in the vertical direction. In this way, after the air enters the third gap 73 and is buffered by the third gap 73, the air can enter each first fan 91 at a lower speed.
[0056] In an example, referring to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, a connector 12 passes through the first side plate 31 and is then connected to the frame 80. The connector 12 may be a screw or a bolt.
[0057] In a possible embodiment, referring to Fig. 1, the case further includes a third side plate 33, where the third side plate 33 is connected between an upper end of the first side plate 31 and an upper end of the second side plate 32; the third side plate 33 is provided with a third air outlet 203 communicating with the first subspace 111, and the third air outlet 203 is close to the first air outlet 201. In this way, the air in the first subspace 111 may also be discharged from the third air outlet 203.
[0058] In an example, both the first region and the second region of the first subspace 111 may communicate with the third air outlet 203.
[0059] In an example, the third air outlet 203 only communicates with the first region, or the third air outlet 203 only communicates with the second region.
[0060] In a second aspect, the present disclosure provides an industrial computer, including an input device and the above industrial controller, where the input device is connected to the industrial controller. An operator can input a corresponding content or command into the industrial controller through the input device.
[0061] It should be noted that, depending on the implementation requirements, the components / steps described in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be split into more components / steps, or two or more components / steps or partial operations of the components / steps may be combined into novel components / steps to achieve the goal of the embodiments of the present disclosure.
[0062] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the embodiments of the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the embodiments of the present disclosure. Those of ordinary skills in the relevant technical field may further make various alterations and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the embodiments of the present disclosure. Therefore, all equivalent technical schemes are also encompassed within the scope of the embodiments of the present disclosure, and the scope of patent protection of the embodiments of the present disclosure should be defined by the appended claims.
