[0004] During elevator renovation work, when replacing the old control panel with a new one, anchors embedded in the concrete floor must be cut in order to remove the old control panel, which is time-consuming and poses a risk of injury.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems. An object of the present disclosure is to provide a control panel housing closure plate, an elevator machine room workbench, and a control panel renewal method that can reduce the workload of removing an old control panel.
[0006] The control panel housing closure plate according to the present disclosure includes a top plate portion that covers an opening that appears above the lower housing portion when the upper housing portion of an elevator control panel housing that separates into two, an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion located in the machine room, is separated. The elevator machine room workbench according to the present disclosure includes the above-mentioned control panel housing closure plate and the above-mentioned lower housing portion. The control panel renewal method according to the present disclosure includes an upper housing portion separation step of separating and removing the upper housing portion of an old elevator control panel housing that separates into two, an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion located in the machine room, a control panel housing closure plate placement step of placing a control panel housing closure plate having a top plate portion that covers the opening that appears above the lower housing portion after the upper housing portion has been removed, and a new control panel placement step of placing a new control panel.
[0007] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a control panel housing closure plate, an elevator machine room workbench, and a control panel renewal method that can reduce the burden of the work involved in removing an old control panel.
[0008] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an old control panel housing Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing an elevator machine room workbench according to embodiment 1 Fig. 3 is a three-view diagram of a control panel housing closing plate according to embodiment 1
[0009] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. Common or corresponding elements in each drawing are designated by the same reference numerals, and descriptions thereof will be simplified or omitted. The configurations shown in the following embodiments are examples of the technical ideas of the present disclosure, and may be combined with other known technologies, or multiple technical ideas described in the present disclosure may be combined. Furthermore, it is also possible to omit or modify part of the configuration without departing from the gist of the present disclosure.
[0010] Embodiment 1. Figure 1 is a perspective view showing an old control panel housing. As shown in Figure 1, the old control panel housing 2 is installed in the elevator machine room. The old control panel housing 2 is to be replaced with a new control panel 8 during elevator renovation work. The old control panel housing 2 can be separated into two parts: an upper housing section 3 and a lower housing section 4. The lower housing section 4 is fixed to the floor surface by anchors embedded in the concrete floor surface. The upper housing section 3 is fixed to the lower housing section 4 with bolts. The upper housing section 3 and the lower housing section 4 each have a rectangular parallelepiped outer shape.
[0011] Figure 2 is a perspective view showing the elevator machine room work platform 5 according to embodiment 1. Figure 2 corresponds to a view seen from the direction of arrow A in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 2, the elevator machine room work platform 5 comprises the lower housing section 4 of the old control panel housing 2 and a control panel housing closure plate 6 having a top panel section 7 that covers the opening that appears above the lower housing section 4 when the upper housing section 3 is separated from the lower housing section 4. The top surface of the elevator machine room work platform 5, i.e., the top panel section 7, is horizontal.
[0012] In this embodiment, the control panel housing closure plate 6 covers the opening above the lower housing unit 4, allowing work to be done safely in the surrounding area even with the lower housing unit 4 in place. The lower housing unit 4 of the old control panel housing 2 can also be used as an elevator machine room workbench 5. For example, a maintenance computer can be placed on the elevator machine room workbench 5 for use. Furthermore, since there is no need to cut the lower housing unit 4 from the floor, the work of cutting is eliminated, and the risk of injury during cutting is also eliminated. A toolbox can also be stored inside the area covered by the control panel housing closure plate 6.
[0013] As in the example of Figure 2, the new control panel 8 may be placed near the old control panel housing 2. A power line or intercom line is drawn into the lower housing portion 4. In order to connect these wires to the new control panel 8, a terminal block for connecting the power line or intercom line in the lower housing portion 4 to the wire leading to the new control panel 8 may be provided inside the elevator machine room workbench 5. This allows the space inside the elevator machine room workbench 5 to be used as space for providing the terminal block.
[0014] FIG. 3 is a three-view diagram of the control panel housing closing plate 6 according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, the top plate 7 has a rectangular plate shape. The control panel housing closing plate 6 of this embodiment further includes a side plate 9 that covers a notch 10 provided in the upper part of the side of the lower housing 4. For convenience, the notch 10 of the lower housing 4 is shown by a dotted line in FIG. 3. In this embodiment, the notch 10 is covered by the side plate 9 of the control panel housing closing plate 6, allowing work to be performed safely in the surrounding area.
[0015] The top plate 7 and side plate 9 of the control panel housing closure plate 6 are connected at the side along the short direction of the top plate 7, and the top plate 7 and side plate 9 form an approximately perpendicular relationship. The side plate 9 protrudes downward from the end of the top plate 7. This makes it possible to cover the cutout portion 10 without any gaps. In the illustrated example, a side plate 9 is provided on each end of the top plate 7 in the longitudinal direction. The side plate 9 is rectangular in shape.
[0016] The longitudinal length of the top panel 7 is longer than the distance between the opposing side surfaces of the lower housing 4. In other words, the distance L1 between the side panel 9 and the opposite side panel 9 is longer than the length of the corresponding portion of the lower housing 4. Therefore, when the top panel 7 is placed in the opening above the lower housing 4, the side panel 9 is positioned further outward than the side surface of the lower housing 4. This prevents the cutout 10 from being exposed to the outside, allowing for safer work in the surrounding area.
[0017] The control panel housing closure plate 6 of this embodiment further includes an auxiliary plate portion 11 provided on a side surface along the longitudinal direction of the top plate portion 7. The top plate portion 7 and the auxiliary plate portion 11 form an approximately perpendicular relationship. The auxiliary plate portion 11 protrudes downward from an edge along the longitudinal direction of the top plate portion 7. In the illustrated example, the auxiliary plate portion 11 is provided on each end of the top plate portion 7 in the short direction. The auxiliary plate portion 11 is positioned further outboard than the side surface of the lower housing portion 4 along the longitudinal direction of the top plate portion 7. This reliably prevents the top plate portion 7 from shifting in the short direction. The auxiliary plate portion 11 is provided over the entire length of the top plate portion 7. The auxiliary plate portion 11 has a rectangular shape.
[0018] The side plate 9 is provided with fixing holes 12. The fixing holes 12 are positioned so as to communicate with the side fixing holes 13 of the lower housing 4 that were used to connect the lower housing 4 and the upper housing 3 when the top plate 7 is placed in the opening of the lower housing 4. This makes it possible to bolt the control panel housing closure plate 6 by inserting bolts into the fixing holes 12 and tightening them into the side fixing holes 13, without providing new bolt holes in the lower housing 4.
[0019] The control panel renewal method according to the present disclosure includes an upper housing section separation step of separating and removing the upper housing section 3 of an old elevator control panel housing 2, which is separated into two sections, an upper housing section 3 and a lower housing section 4, located in a machine room; a control panel housing closure plate placement step of placing a control panel housing closure plate 6 having a top plate section 7 that covers an opening created above the lower housing section 4 after the upper housing section 3 has been removed; and a new control panel placement step of placing a new control panel 8. The order of the steps is not limited to the above order. For example, the new control panel placement step may be the first step, or the new control panel placement step may be the second step. The control panel renewal method according to the present disclosure may also include a terminal block creation step of providing a terminal block inside the lower housing section 4, covered by the control panel housing closure plate 6, for connecting a power line or intercom line drawn into the lower housing section 4 to wiring leading to the new control panel 8.
[0020] 2 Old control panel housing, 3 Upper housing section, 4 Lower housing section, 5 Elevator machine room workbench, 6 Control panel housing closing plate, 7 Top plate section, 8 New control panel, 9 Side plate section, 10 Cutout section, 11 Auxiliary plate section, 12 Fixing hole section, 13 Side fixing hole
