[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to a tool pickup gripper used in areas where heavy processing tools that cannot be lifted by manpower (humanpower) are used, in areas where manpower is insufficient and movement areas are limited, in workshops and factories with part processing machines.

[0004] The invention particularly relates to a tool pickup gripper that facilitates the attachment, removal, and transport of tools at the machine connection point in processing machines.

[0005] State of Art

[0006] In today's modern industry, heavy processing tools are used to process parts on processing machines that produce parts in heavy industry enterprises. Materials are shaped by means of processing tools that can be attached and removed from the said processing machines, and parts are produced in the desired geometry and dimensions.

[0007] In the present art, tool change is done by manpower in processing machines. Tool change is necessary for different parts or different operations to be performed. However, in the present applications, there is insufficient manpower to carry and change heavy processing tools, especially those used in heavy industry enterprises. In addition to the transportation problems experienced with the present art, occupational health and safety (OHS) problems are experienced due to risks such as hand jamming, arm breakage, part falling, etc. during tool transportation. On the other hand, there are also physical problems that arise when lifting loads due to improper ergonomics. For this reason, in the state of the art, a system was needed for attaching, removing and transporting the processing tools to the machine.

[0008] In the research carried out in the literature, the document numbered TR2023 / 001985 can be shown as an example of the known state of the art. The said document relates to an object holding and positioning system used for clamping, locking, fixing, positioning, carrying, gripping, holding, pushing or pulling objects in machine tools, processing centers, turning lathes, transfer areas. In the said invention, an object holding and positioning system is described that provides positioning, directing and clamping to machines or robots by pulling the connecting elements by means of grippers holding the object and also locking with a locking system or a robot gripper. However, since this system is not movable, it cannot carry (move) objects.

[0009] As a result, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of existing solutions have necessitated a development in the relevant technical field.

[0010] Object of the Invention

[0011] The present invention relates to a tool pickup gripper that eliminates the above- mentioned disadvantages and brings new advantages to the relevant technical field.

[0012] The main object of the invention is to provide a tool pickup gripper that enables the attachment, removal and transportation of tools to the machine connection point on machining machines.

[0013] The object of the invention is to provide a tool pickup gripper that provides ergonomics to the personnel in tool carrying applications where human power is insufficient.

[0014] Another object of the invention is to provide a set of grippers that eliminate the problems experienced in occupational health and safety in heavy industry enterprises.

[0015] Another object of the invention is to provide a tool pick-up gripper that enables the portable transportation of tools on processing machines.

[0016] In order to fulfill all the purposes that may arise from the above-mentioned and detailed description, the invention is a tool pickup gripper used in processing machines in areas where heavy processing tools that cannot be lifted by manpower are used, in areas where manpower is insufficient and movement areas are limited, in workshops and factories with part processing machines, it relates to comprising the following: a movable table that moves on the ground, - a body moving in the z-axis on at least one shaft positioned perpendicular to the movable table,

[0017] - a joint located on the body and providing rotational movement in the y- axis, a movement limb located at the end of the joint and providing movement in the x-axis and y-axis,

[0018] - a rotation and locking mechanism located at the end of the movement limb, which locks the processing tool by providing movement in the x-axis, y-axis and z-axis,

[0019] - a tool holder that opens and closes at the end of the rotation and locking mechanism and holds or releases the processing tool.

[0020] The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written by making references to these figures. Therefore, the evaluation needs to be made by taking these figures and detailed description into consideration.

[0033] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0034] In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the tool pickup gripper which is the subject of the invention are described only for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject and in a way that does not form any limiting effect.

[0035] The perspective view of the tool pickup gripper which is the subject of the invention is given in Figure 1 . Accordingly, the tool pickup gripper, in its most basic form, comprises a movable table (10) moving on the ground, a body (20) moving on the z axis (z) on at least one shaft (1 1 ) positioned perpendicular to the movable table (10), a joint (30) that provides rotational movement on the y axis (y) on the body (20), a movement limb (40) at the end of the joint (30) that provides movement on the x axis (x) and y axis (y), a rotation and locking mechanism (50) that locks the processing tool by providing movement in the x axis (x), y axis (y) and z axis (z) at the end of the movement limb (40), a tool holder (60) which opens and closes at the end of the rotation and locking mechanism (50) and holds or releases the processing tool.

[0036] The movable table (10), which forms the main carrier structure of the tool pickup gripper which is the subject of the invention, is a car that moves on the ground by means of wheels. A shaft (1 1 ) is positioned vertically on the said movable table (10) and the moving body (20) is placed on this shaft (1 1 ) on the z axis (z) with pneumatic drive.

[0037] On the body (20), there is a joint (30) that provides rotational movement in the y-axis (y), and at the end of the joint (30), there is a movement limb (40) that provides movement in the x-axis (x) and y-axis (y). The processing tool is moved in the x-axis

[0038] (x) and y-axis (y) by means of the joint (30) and the movement limb (40). The processing tool is held by means of the tool holder (60) which is connected to the rotation and locking mechanism (50) at the end of the movement limb (40).

[0039] The rotation and locking mechanism (50) provides movement in the x-axis (x), y-axis

[0040] (y) and z-axis (z) at the end of the movement limb (40) and enables the processing tool to be locked at 30°, 60° and 90°. The tool holder (60) holds and releases the processing tool by opening and closing at the end of the rotation and locking mechanism (50).

[0041] The working principle of the tool pickup gripper which is the subject of the invention is as follows;

[0042] In processing machines, in order to remove the processing tool from the machine connection point, the mouth of the tool holder (60) is brought close to the machine and the mouth of the tool holder (60) is closed, holding the machining tool and locking it by means of the rotation and locking mechanism (50). In order to remove the locked processing tool from the machine, a rotational movement is given to the processing tool by means of the rotation and locking mechanism (50) and the processing tool is removed from the machine. Meanwhile, the processing tool must be pulled back by manpower through the movement limb (40) and joint (30) and moved on the x-axis (x) and y-axis (y).

[0043] The processing tool removed from the machine is moved to the desired area with the help of the movable table (10). After the transportation process, the processing tool is brought closer to the target area by moving the body (20) in the Z axis. The processing tool is moved by means of the tool holder (60) and the rotation and locking mechanism (50) and is placed in the target assembly area.
