ferrous sulfate by-product of
titanium white. The method comprises the following steps: dissolving crude
melanterite with water, and separating liquid and
solid; adjusting the pH of the crude solution to 1-4 with acid, and adding a
reducing agent for reduction reaction; immediately adjusting the pH of the reduced solution to 1-2 with acid to obtain a pre-
crystallization solution; vacuum reducing pressure concentration; cooling
crystallization to obtain
ferrous sulfate crystals. The present application adopts a
hydrolysis reduction-recrystallization
coupling process to refine and purify crude
melanterite, and the purification mechanisms of each link are connected in a loop and cooperatively remove impurities, so that precise control of impurities and step-by-step improvement of product purity are realized.
