[0020] Referring to the accompanying drawings, the present invention generally relates to an opening device for opening individual containers of a dry powder inhaler. The invention applies in particular to inhalers in which the containers 20 are formed by blisters arranged one behind the other on a flexible strip (not shown). Each container or blister 20 comprises a hermetically closed wall 21 and contains a dose of powder. Advantageously, the strip is gradually unwound with each actuation, an indexing wheel (not shown) being arranged to cause the strip to advance at each actuation and receive the blister to be opened.
