Abstract

The invention provides an electronic apparatus housing which comprises a basic body and a lightproof shielding layer. The basic body consists of an interior surface and an exterior surface opposite to the interior surface. The electronic apparatus housing is characterized in that: one side of the interior surface is provided with a plurality of grooves which possess required pattern moldings; the basic body is made of translucent materials which are composed of, by weight, 70% to 80% of alumina, 10% to 20% of silicon oxide, 5% to 10% of chrome oxide and 0.3% to 0.6% of silicon nitride; and the shielding layer is formed in areas of the interior surface outside of those grooves. The invention also provides a manufacturing method for the abovementioned electronic apparatus housing.
