Embodiment Construction

[0056] The specific implementation of the method for maintaining local routing in the A12→A22 scenario proposed by the present invention is as follows:

[0057] (1) MN2 switches from MAG1 to MAG2. At this time, the LREs maintained by MAG1 and LMA1 will be deleted accordingly, while the LREs maintained by LMA2 and the registration information of MN2 will be kept for a certain period of time.

[0058] (2) MAG2 authenticates MN2 through the AAA server and obtains the address of LMA2;

[0059] (3) According to the regulations of PMIPv6, MAG2 registers MN2 with LMA2 through PBU / PBA message, so LMA2 obtains the address of MAG2;

[0060] (4) LMA2 queries the LRE reserved by itself to obtain the address of LMA1, and sends an LRI (Opt1) message to LMA1. The movement options of the message include [MN1-ID, MN1-HNP], [MN2-ID, MN2-HNP] and MAG2's address;

[0061] (5) After LMA1 receives the LRI (Opt1) message sent by LMA2, if it rejects the local route, it will reply LRA (Opt1) messag...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for maintaining the local route continuity in proxy mobile IPv6. The method is applicable to the following scene: two mobile nodes (MN1 and MN2) are respectively registered on local mobile anchors (LMA1 and LMA2), and local route is carried out by the MN1 and the MN2 by the same access gateway (MAG1); after that, the MN2 is switched into another access gateway (MAG2); local route is continuously carried out by the MN1 and the MN2 through the MAG1 and the MAG2. Before the MN2 is switched, local route entries (LRE) which comprise the opposite side addresses are respectively built in the LMA1 and the LMA2, and the LRE is also built in the MAG1. When the MN2 is switched into the MAG2 from the MAG1, the LRE in the MAG1 and the LMA1 related with the MN2 is eliminated, but the LRE related with the MN2 is reserved by the LMA2. When MN2 is switched into the MAG2 and after the LMA2 is registered again, the local route is initiated by the LMA2 by utilizing the reserved registration information of the LRE and the MN2, and the switched local route continuity is maintained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the communication field, in particular to a method for maintaining local routing continuity in proxy mobile IPv6. Background technique [0002] Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6, RFC5213) proposes another approach to address IP mobility requirements. In PMIPv6, the proxy mobile entity in the network performs signaling interaction with the home agent and performs mobility management on behalf of the mobile node (MN) connected to the network. This network-based mobility mechanism does not require MNs to participate in IP mobility support. In the structural system of PMIPv6, the core functional entities are Local Mobility Anchor (LMA) and Mobile Access Gateway (MAG). The LMA is the home agent of the MN in the PMIPv6 domain, which is responsible for maintaining the reachability of the MN and is the topological anchor node of the prefix of the MN's home network. The MAG is an entity that performs mobility management functions instead of ...
