Abstract

The present invention discloses a sugarcane bud intactness classification method. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) obtaining a sugarcane image; (2) clipping a bud area of the sugarcane image; (3) determining an effective classification feature of buds; (4) determining prior probabilities of two bud classifications, intact buds and broken buds, by using a training sample; (5) determining a class conditional probability density function of the bud classification feature; (6) calculating a posterior probability of the bud classification feature; and (7) determining a bud intactness classification rule according to Bayesian Decision Theory. The sugarcane bud intactness classification method provided by the present invention is high in classification accuracy rates which are all above 90%, thereby well proving that the bud intactness classification method provided by the present invention is reasonable and effective.
