Abstract

The invention provides a method and an apparatus for prompting information and a terminal, wherein the method in one specific embodiment comprises: in response to detected signals of a wireless access point, acquiring the strength change speed of the signals of the wireless access point; judging whether the strength change speed of the signals of the wireless hotspot is smaller than or equal to a first preset threshold value, wherein if the strength change speed of the signals of the wireless hotspot is smaller than the first preset threshold, then the strength change speed meets the preset condition; and responding to the preset condition that is met, and pushing corresponding prompt information to a user for making sure whether to establish connection between a terminal and the wireless access point or not. By adopting the implementation method, the times of pushing prompt information to the intelligent terminal of the user is reduced; the influence onnormal use of the user is decreased; and the efficiency that the user uses a intelligent terminal device is increased.
