Abstract

The invention discloses a computer-vision-based method for localizing a vehicle with a peccancy pressing-line behavior in a traffic flow diversion region. The method comprises: according to a traffic flow diversion region in a video image, a detection region is set in a hand-operated manner and a corresponding mask image is generated; video frame pictures are read in sequence; a motion foreground is detected and AND operation is carried out on the motion foreground and the mask image to obtain a local motion foreground image of the traffic flow diversion region; a coarse positioning frame is determined based on the local motion image of the traffic flow diversion region; and according to a calibration parameter and a longitudinal vehicle position, the coarse positioning frame is adjusted to obtain a final peccancy vehicle detection frame. With the method disclosed by the invention, detection of line pressing by a vehicle in congestion can be realized; and the real-time performance is good.
