Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a voice packet loss processing method and device. The method comprises when it is determined that a packet loss event occurs and may affect the normal analysis of a receiving end, recompressing a head node SDU in a queue to be transmitted in order that a compressed message header carries the indication information that enables the receiving end to know atimestamp of a header node SDU packet; transmitting the header node SDU packet to the receiving end, and recompressing the other SDU packets in the queue according to the ROHC updated by the transmitting end and transmitting the recompressed packets to the receiving end. Therefore, the receiving end can update the ROHC context of the receiving end according to the indication information carried bythe head node SDU, and can correctly analyze the following received SDU so as to avoid inability to correctly analyze the data packets due to the continuous transmission of the data packets in the queue in a packet loss feedback, prevent a packet loss probability from further deteriorating, avoid unnecessary state transition of the receiving end due to decompression failure, and achieve a simpleand efficient packet loss processing process.
