The personalized privacy protection method is applied to a client, and comprisesthe following steps: obtaining a target sensitive value input by a user to target private data to be collected, the target private data corresponding to a plurality of sensitive values, and the targetsensitive value being a sensitive value in the plurality of sensitive values; and disturbing the target sensitive value by using a preset personalized random response model to obtain a disturbed sensitive value, wherein the model is a response model introduced with respect to the weight of each sensitive value of the target private data, and the model enables the probability of outputting a truevalue to a sensitive value with a high weight to be lower than the probability of outputting a true value to a sensitive value with a low weight. By means of the scheme, the problems that in the privacy collection process, some privacy data are excessively protected, and some privacy data are insufficiently protected in an existing related technology based on random response can be solved.
