Abstract

A syringe having a cartridge door movable between a fully closed position and a fully open position. A power source is used to power at least one powered component of the injector. A power circuit electrically connects a power source with the at least one powered component. The electrically insulating arm is movable from a first state in which the electrically insulating arm electrically disconnects the power supply from the circuit to a second state in which the electrically insulating arm electrically connects the power supply and the circuit to the at least An electric component is powered.
