The drying styler comprises a clothes length detection component used for detecting the lengths of to-be-dried clothes, and heating components capable of moving up and down; and the method comprises the steps of detecting the lengths of to-be-dried clothes by a clothes length detection component; controllingheating components to heat and to move up and down in a reciprocating manner within the ranges of the lengths of the to-be-dried clothes; detecting the humidity inside the drying styler; and stoppingheating of the heating components when the set humidity is reached. By using the clothes drying method for the drying styler, the heating components can move up and down within the ranges of the lengths according to the lengths of the clothes and the to-be-dried clothes are comprehensively heated and dried, so that the drying efficiency is high, drying is uniform and the clothes are not damaged.
