Problems solved by technology

[0003] However, since the gasket as described above is constrained by three or more surfaces, there may be cases where the insertion member becomes inclined relative to the insertion hole due to dimensional tolerances, mounting methods, vibrations, etc., resulting in failure to hold the gasket. The sealing performance is unstable due to the place in close contact

Abstract

Provided is a gasket exhibiting consistent sealing performance even if an insertion member is tilted relative to an insertion hole. The gasket is provided with: a body section 121 affixed to the innerperipheral surface of an insertion hole 810 so as to be in close contact with the inner peripheral surface and so as to be positioned at a distance from an insertion member 900; and a flexible section 122 provided so as to extend from the body section 121 toward the inner peripheral surface side of the body section 121 and capable of flexibly deforming. The gasket is characterized in that the flexible section 122 is flexed when depressed by the expansion surface section 920 of the insertion member 900 and comes into close contact with the expansion surface section 920 while being positioned at a distance from a housing 800 and an insertion section 910.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a gasket for sealing an annular gap between a casing having an insertion hole and an insertion member inserted into the insertion hole. Background technique [0002] The gasket used to seal the annular gap between the housing having the insertion hole and the insertion member inserted into the insertion hole generally has a total of 3 or more surfaces on the side of the housing and one or more surfaces on the side of the insertion member. The surface is in close contact with each other (refer to Patent Documents 1 and 2). In the gasket thus constituted, if the position of the insertion member is appropriate with respect to the insertion hole of the housing, stable sealing performance can be maintained. [0003] However, since the gasket as described above is constrained by three or more surfaces, there may be cases where the insertion member becomes inclined relative to the insertion hole due to dimensional tolerances, mountin...
