The method for decoding an image comprises the steps of decoding the block division information about a current block included in a current picture from a bitstream; determining a division method for the current block on the basis of the information; and dividing the current block by using the determined division method, wherein the division method is determined on the basis of whether the current block includes a predetermined boundary.
